Informative but brake an axle/spline etc you'll go left or right. Incl a rider: save the outcome 4 a burnout comp. T NZ (from a racer from way back) btw whats an HQ carrier with gears worth across the ditch ?.

That's One job I've left to the experts in the past great to see how it's done, I think the 3.7 will be perfect, 4.11 is a bit too much ratio for a 6500rpm torquey engine, gears were way too short in my friends 5L with 4.11 ratio, I'm pretty sure hsv 5L have 3.7 with the t5 and they work well
perfect timing man, im planning on rebuilding mine this weekend so this should make it a bit easier

Is there much to do when putting a 4.10 btr 75 series in a 78 housing irs from AU falcon it's currently got 3.45

You definitely sound like you know what you’re talking about whereabouts are you located might bring my diff to you
When youre finished the diff gears you need to get rid of those psuedo brembo rear brake covers and do that mod to your hubs to take the bigger handbrake shoes /calipers/discs

How much power was Ben's turbo alloytec making? And what other mods did he have on it
Blake Grouios hey mate, it was a stock 175 Alloytec with ls1 stock exhaust. Made ~300rwkw at 3500rpm before a rod let go. At that point, other things took priority and we moved on.

Yeah there's plenty. 3.4, 3.7, 3.9, 4.1 usually
Where did you get your truetrac from for the M78.
+Joel Dutaillis Got it straight from Harrop, though there's heaps of eBay sellers now that sell them and even in a combo with diff gears too
Have you got your original 3.08 gears? Or do u/anybody know where to buy them? (I’m happy to swap my 3.73 gears) love the acceleration, but I need my highway economy back…

+Martin McMartin Haha well hello to our friend across the ditch! Yeah don't quote me 100% but I asked Ben and he is 99% sure. The later models don't have retaining clips to suits axles or something along those lines
Martin McMartin if you're in kiwiland, try looking at R31 Skylines as well some of them use the same diff and the gears are also lower ratio too like 3.46, 4.11 etc from memory

Yes I'm 99% sure. As long as they're from the same model or no later than (VS I think)
