This apartment location is amazing! It’s a walking distance to restaurants, famous sites, coffee shops, grocery stores, the meeting spot for great tours of the town, hotdog stands, and the bus stop if you need to go further out. We loved it!

I’ve watched several of your videos in Iceland. They are really great for helping us plan our trip in late March. I’m curious what month of the year you guys visited? It looks like you all had a great time!

Hello a Icelandic person here. The reason why Iceland is so expensive is because we live in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Which means ordering things, to get to Iceland could often cost more then the item itself. I often order things online which the item would cost maybe 7,65 but the shipping would cost about 70,000. Which is really expensive for some stores in Iceland. which is why they charge a lot to get more money to buy more stuff and to pay the workers.

We are finding your videos so helpful. Thank you! We are traveling with 8 and 3 year old to Iceland during first week of Sep 2023, any suggestion on jackets, I am not sure if the regular ones will be ok for younger kids

I'm an Icelander in Iceland, the average temperature at the 2 coldest winter months every year is ca. +2°C and raining, it's not super cold. It can get much colder in many other European countries.
But last 2 months at this winter it has been a little colder, maybe +-0C in average and snowing wich is usually very rare, sometimes a little warmer and sometimes a little colder!

@@gunnarhognason7222 yeah but lately Iceland has been pretty cold. I do remember that a few days ago it was like -6°C

Not that cold. I wish I could move there because it has no brutal heat in the summer and it snows more

well they are shopping at a small convenience store. If they would go to an actual supermarket, it would not cost as much.

Better to get Pfizer or Moderna booster, so you will get easier travel.
