Puerto cook corn beef with adobo, sofrito sazon. Garlic black pepper potatoes and tomato sauce green peppers and onions . Sometimes we add corn. But this is a good version of it. I may try it even though I’m confused about the ketchup part.

LOOKS DELICIOUS! I am Puerto Rican, and I make this pretty much the same except I use tomato sauce, sofrito, adobo, sazon, and garlic. Sometimes I add corn or french fries in it!

Looks delicious. I love fried plantains too. As kids, we sautéed sliced ones in butter and topped them with brown sugar for fast, tasty desserts.

I understand you clearly. I am Guyanese and I literally cry whenever my mom made soup for dinner. I always tell her soup is not a meal and I prefer to have any with rice instead of soup.

Cornbeef AKA Bullybeef 😆 . I do enjoy eating this once or twice a year. I get terrible headaches from eating this. Nevertheless, it looks delicious

@@dreascuriouscuisine probably cause corn beef(canned meat in general) has so much sodium in it. Too much salt make your blood pressure high and cause headache.

I use tomatoes in my corned beef and it gives it more flavour
Yeah use tomatoes. I use a tin of tomatoes (or tomato purée) and cook it right down. Also add some hot pepper sauce. But each to their own it’s all good.

I always add Tomato Sauce to my Corn Beef, and Oregano and French Fries.
😊 Alejandro thanks for sharing 😉. Some ppl cut up tomatoes in there corned beef but I’m not a tomato lover so that’s why I wouldn’t do that , as well as I use ketchup . The oregano would add a nice little flavour for real 😉. Thanks for watching , God bless you !!

What do you do to the rice which are stuck to your hand, hope you are not going to immerse your hand in the boiling water 😀😀😀
Lol well we just normally shake them off into the container that we washed the rice in & put them right in the pot , it’s not normally alot 😆 , or we even get them right in the pot directly by doing a little flash over the pot . Because our hand is wet ( from washing the rice until the water runs clear ) they come off pretty easy . Thanks so much for asking , God bless you ☺️

😊 yeah Omarie I didn’t like it at all for dinner , in my head soup is not dinner . Give me some rice or some boil dumplings with stew chicken , corned beef , curry chicken or something … just no soup 😆 . Thank God my mommy was nice lol because trust me most Jamaican moms would let u know u have to eat what is prepared or don’t eat at all 😊. i brought corned beef for the first time. when i first open it, it looks so disgusting. it looks like cat food. when i taste it, it taste pretty good. it actually taste fresh.
Lol that’s funny that it looked disgusting at first 😆. I think it’s because of the fat / oil that got cold on the corned beef . But yessss it taste so good , prepare it with some of the nice veggies like I did & trust me the taste is really elevated even more . Thanks for watching, God bless u !!

I always cook my rice in the microwave whenever I try the stove top it comes out hard
Aww Eimi , so sorry to hear . Try doing 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water & see if that works for u 😉. & when ur cooking it & when the water dries out of the pot & the rice isn’t finish cooking , u can take piece of foil paper & cover over the top of the pot . Then still cover the pot with the pot cover . This helps to steam the rice ... so at that point the stove needs to b on low heat . Thanks for watching , I hope this was clear& I explained it ok . My white rice comes out perfect 🥰
I cook my rice on the hob myself some people carnt cook rice it's comes out to hard so then just add little bit more water or it comes out sloppy. That means to much water . So you need to dry it out rap a tea towel round the lid an leave to cook 5 minutes or bit more then it should be fine 🙂
