Well my weekend was just made 1000% easier! My family was fighting over tacos or burgers this weekend. I'll just make both pies. All I need is some ice cream for that chocolate pie. Yum! (I might hide in the pantry with it)
I have dozens of Impossible Pie recipes, both savory and sweet. I’ve made a few. I like the cheeseburger one, spinach one and have made coconut, cream cheese and others. They’re all good. My mom made the, frequently while we were growing up. I usually made them in my blender. Nice to know how to make your own Bisquick. I buy it and waste most of it. I’ll try the chocolate peanut butter recipe because I haven’t had this one. Thank you, Catherine.

....I have used cut green beans, in that recipe ( The Mexican Impossible Pue ) as I did not have corn on hand , and it was good.
If using canned, drain them of course. I used Jack cheese and Crumbled Queso when I made that with the green beans, but Mozzarella will also work. I've also used various types of beans ( home cooked or canned, whatever was available) and that was good as well. My Grandmother taught me to substitute things ,if one doesn't have the exact ingredient.

I just made the impossible chocolate peanut butter pie! Can’t wait! I first learned of these pies back in the 70’s when my mother-in-law gave me the recipe for impossible coconut pie! Thanks Catherine! I also made my grandson Bisquick biscuits the other day. He ate 3! I forgot how great this product is!

Cheeseburger pie was one of the first things I taught my boys to make. I even found a Bisquik cookbook at a thrift store. I left a homemade bisquik recipe in it as a bookmark. I gave it as a gag gift, but he loved it.

I remember my grandma who grew up cooking on a farm so could do everything from scratch and memory, making the original impossible pie. Maybe it was in the 1970s and it was so good and we were all amazed because before that, pie was…. pie.😅

I will definitely be trying the chocolate peanut butter pie, but I'll have some vanilla ice cream on hand when I do😊. I wanted to tell you that I made that chicken recipe you showed the other day using Catalina dressing, peach jelly and an onion soup mix packet. Oh my goodness, that was DELICIOUS!!! I just served mine over some regular white rice because the sauce works nicely as it is for a gravy. Thanks again for that great recipe and the ones today. Yum !😋

Your recipe really reminds me of a recipe that my nanny always Made it was called corn, taco chili and pretty much. It was ground beef plus taco seasoning plus different types of beans. In cans plus Canned corn and we used to make a huge part of it and freeze it and it was always delicious when we reheated it better than when we first made it. I would suggest making a video on Mexican corn. Chili never had anyt that better best chili I have ever ate.
I make something like this. I use Cornbread like you did with Bisquick. I do have it. I'm going to make this one this week 😋

I remember when I was about 10 yrs. old, my Mom got on an impossible pie kick. They were really good the first few times she made them, but after about the 20th. one in 15 days, well, I'm 65 now and I've never made one ever. Maybe I'll give the cheeseburger pie a try again. Maybe!
