Thank you all so much for following this adventure. Florida has made a lasting impact on me and I'll be back again someday. If you wanna check out Karlos's other routes, check out his website, www.singletracksamurai.com/
Next time you need to ride the Everglades, but make sure you do it in the winter.
I really loved the Florida series. No crashes, no flaties, no whammies, no being alligator bait.
We made friends with all the gators
@@duzer you must have offered them Duzerritos.
Really really like the group rides! I’m an introvert myself and ride alone all the time, but something great about seeing you with a companion/partner these trips. You’ve achieved super hero level endurance so seeing others be able to make it is inspiring and fun. Great series!
Best company on a bike ride is your own company 👍
For you to say “this was not easy” or whatever says a lot about the event. You’re moving a ton of people to action and you should be super proud. Looking forward to the next tour!
It’s so fun to see so many people out there!
It must feel amazing to have so many people tell you that you're the reason that they're out riding their bikes. Pretty soon there will be no need to escape winter - I can't wait!
I’ve watched just about all your videos and nothing beats the beauty of the landscape of Florida
It’s an interesting place for sure
It's delightful to watch you interact with others. Your best series are when you are with other people most of the time.
I do indeed love making friends on the trail
I'm glad you came to my state and enjoyed the real Florida.
Hey Ryan, ‘Irish Guy’ in the blue Lycra here ;-) Great videos. It brings back great memories of the trip. I Know how much time it takes to shoot these things and edit them so well done for capturing the essence of the ride. Bravo and keep up the good work.
Great to see you Paul! So glad you and your friends made the journey across the pond to play in the swamp with us! 🤜🤛
My man! So great to hear from you. Thanks for being a willing participant in this little series. Hope it’s warming up over there
It was so uplifting to see the camaraderie in your group. To some extend the surounding made me think of the nice places I encountered here in nature in the Netherlands. But then without the palmtrees and gators. This serie was fun to watch!
I’m glad that you enjoyed it!
The group definitely turned it from an amazing ride to a truly memorable experience.
The Fixie Guys gave me a beer at Shang-Gra-La
Almost everyone was gone when I rolled through
They were rad!
Going to have to re-use the spooning line 🐻
This looks amazing.
But you are so much braver than me. We do lots of 'mountain biking' around florida looking for trails that are adaptive, and my biggest fear is alligators which I am constantly on the look out for in any wet-ish area. :)
They seem to be everywhere!
Another awesome series Ryan, loved every episode👍I had a pretty awesome ride today, 105 miles of amazing roads😁Very different to the jungle you rode through😂
Right on, that’s a big day. Hope you found some yummy snacks along the way
We did the “lite” this past year. Love watching the recap. Karlos is such a treasure to have in Fl creating all the epic adventures.
Great series. Thanks for coming East and not riding in a desert haha😂
Thanks for the video, and the 4 best friends song reminds me of my friends back in elementary school.
What a great series, Beans! I loved every second of it! Looking forward to the next one! Cheers from Alabama!
Beans!!! ;)
Great video Ryan. What an adventure you and your friends had in Florida. In a future video (unless you already did one) on the logistics of getting to your destinations and back with your kit. Thanks and cheers.
Great series Ryan.......I am now inspired to go ride in the woods again!! DD
There are some people out there that love the no chamois for bike packing/endurance riding. I can’t handle a warmup on the bike in regular shorts at the gym!
I do the opposite; no chamois/pads for everyday stuff so I have an iron ass for the bikepacking/endurance stuff. I suffered absolutely zero butt pain on the Huracan this year, unlike Walt! 🤣
What a great capture of your bikepacking trip in Florida! Thanks for sharing this with us, Ryan :)
Glad you enjoyed it, Florida was a blast
Now that you have finished Huracan. Come to Ga and do TNGA
I want to!
Looks like you had a blast 🎉. Well done to you and your crew 👍🚲💪
Ryan...I have not watched your videos for a few months. However as usual your videos were great and seeing terrain in Florida was interesting. Have fun. Be safe.
Welcome back! I appreciate you checking out this series
I've really enjoyed this series! Florida is now on my bike packing map which I hadn't honestly even considered it seriously before. Gorgeous country! Thanks for sharing, love your content.
It wasn’t on my map either. I’m so glad that I made the trip out there.
Hi Ryan, I’m glad you finally got to visit Florida. I have been kayaking down there from Georgia for years in the winter since the mosquitoes are so bad in the summer. It is so different from anywhere else in the US. Hope you will be back, maybe our paths will cross out there someday.
I love hearing the sand hill cranes in the background! Great series, Duze!
That looks like fun. Can't find to ditch this cold Iowa weather and go bikepacking. RAGBRAI 2024!!!
Spring is coming!!!
man, I look forward to your videos. So inspiring and so many great places to go on adventures.
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks again, Ryan! What a great adventure. My weekends aren't complete without your updates on these wonderful trips! Keep 'em coming!
Hey Ryan, Been coming to Florida for many years to get out of Northern NY winters. Mostly road cycling but after watching your YT vids on the Huracan I'm in for next winter to ride it.
We look forward to having you join us!
It’s so fun!! I hope that you do it next year
Great series Ryan!! I had never heard of this ride before. This is something I may check out next year. Thanks!
It’s worth a trip to Florida!!
Ryan, you should think about coming out to Montgomery County MD for the MOCO epic this fall. It’s only a 1-day event, but it’s an amazing ride (not a race) that has options ranging from 15 to 70 miles. It’s an awesome event with lots of great people, aid stations, and amazing singletrack.
Just an idea! Love all your videos and we would love to have you!
THANK YOU RYAN for taking me along with you!!!
About your "Ebook" are you reading it to us?
I hope to shake your hand one day.
Thanks for joining the fun! The ebook is not an audiobook, sorry
Great series. Really looked epic. Fun folks too!
Keep the videos coming Ryan!!
You know it!
Thank you Ryan!
Florida looks beautiful!
It really is!
Just finally subscribed!!! Thanks for the motivation through every single video!!!
Another epic adventure in the books. Thanks for another great video and take care, Al
Thanks. Al!
Killer content yet again! Just about every place else you have ever rode the Priority has been dryland, or desert. Any rundown on how Priority did in the swamp? The grit of that sand and lots of water would make a conventional derailleur a not so fun proposition.
Greetings. His bike did amazing against the mud and sand. We all wishing we had his bike at the swamp. 😊
When Walt and I were chunking through the mud, Ryan was cruising along in belt drive silence. SERIOUS Pinion envy. I may have accidentally picked up a 600x after the Huracan... 😁
Loved this little series Ryan, cool bunch of dudes along for the ride ( I was right about Walt hehe) and it looked like so much fun. Fun to see those UK dudes that have ridden local to where I live too... I might have to watch it all again, great stuff again 👍🏼👍🏼
Walt kept us giggling like idiots the whole time. 😂
Legend
Bring out the UK crew next year!
Another great series. Love it!
Glad you enjoy it!
Really enjoyed this mini series. A fascinating insight into Florida. Also, after recently catching up on your solo Baja divide videos, I loved this set where you were travelling with others. I always enjoy your interactions with others on your trips, its one of the elements that make you videos so entertaining. (PS not that the solo ones aren't great)
WOW 🤩 Loved the Series.. Epic fun.. I might look into the Huracan lite.. 🚴♂️😎
Come join Dan Hurd and I next year on the Lite! :)
@@printerror Interesting 🤔
Do you have the Lite 300 Route ??
@@billysbikesbrews7183 I have ridden both routes before.
Do it!!! You’ll love it
I really enjoyed this series, Ryan! Im excited to try it sometime
GOOOOOOD MORNIING From Pennsylvania!! Cheers with a cup of coffee and a new episode for Gran!! Love it Ryan..KEEEEEP GOING!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Be well...
GOOOOD MORNING!!!!!
Ryan, on your next Fl trip you gotta try the newly completed coast to coast trail, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic ocean, if you crossed Iowa, you can certainly cross our state as well.
We talked about that a lot on the Huracan. Hopefully that last gap on 50 is finished soon!
@@printerror The last section is sched. to be completed in 2026. That would be a great video to see you guys ride the whole journey from one end to the other.
@@pedrofernandez8729 I'll keep on top of it!
Love your videos big man, excited to see what your next adventure will be
Thanks! Stay tuned
Nice job on this brother...the Miami Boys ❤
Great series love the bike packing adventures
Fantastic stuff, thanks Ryan!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good morning from Rio de Janeiro! I simply loved this adventure series. Just dreaming how it would be great to take part of this and experience all those things. Congratulations for all the best friends and specially for the organization. I was wondering about the mosquitoes... you made no comments about them... Thanks for sharing this amazing trip.
Anything smaller than the Swedish skeeters probably isn’t worth a mention by Ryan!
@@63Harpo 😂
This has been a spectacular series. Thanks for sharing this with us. Wow. So good.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed it!
"little adventure" as you guys ride through knee deep water!
That was the adventury part :)
I'm short, it was gut-deep on me. 😂
Gracias por este video, Ryan
Great video again, thanks !
Glad you enjoyed it
Great videos! My 2 buddies and I were out there with you and in the first video at the starting line…. We finished last cause we’re not real riders lol but did finish the full. Only thing is how do you leave SANTOS out!?!? Thanks for the videos
It was so fun!!
Great video buddy! It is really neat to see you in a different part of the U.S. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
Florida was so fun…maybe Michigan is next
#duzerforpresident
Camping in Florida. DO NOT GO OUT TO POTTY AT NIGHT! Here there be monsters 😮
😂😂😂
Awesome video! I really enjoyed it. My brother and I just finished another route that Carlos designed that crosses Florida through the middle of the state. It was a 3 day route and was a blast! I recommend it!
Oooh! I’ll have to check that out
John, did you guys do CFITT or King's Road? 🥰
We did the Kings Road route. Steinhatchee to Flagler Beach.
@@johnyearty5941 Sweet! We were on that one.
ååågud jag har inte kollat på dina videos på ett tag. soo friggin wholesome(helane in Swedish iguess. wholing).
What about doing the Appalachin Trail or Pacific Coast Trail?
This was awesome! Thank you so much! Just wondering, will you ever record a audiobook version of your book? It would be great to have that format, particularly if you read it!!
Great series Ryan. I'm planning on doing this next year. What tires are you riding on?
Hey Ryan, its James from Cheyenne. I just looked up the route for RAGBRAI this year, and its a doozy. A southern route, starts in Glenwood. So its going to be a Roller Coaster ride, and not the fun type :) Kinda glad I'm not going on it this year. I'm no where near in good enough shape. Have a good one.
You know me, I like hills ;)
What's a "shamee"?
Was this route completely free of thorns? Looks like a great track!
Thorn and debris central. The goat heads are crazy in some spots. I don't know anyone who runs tubes on these rides.
Loved this series and your positivity. Thank you.
Are you going to join Mira in Honduras? Just a thought.
Cheers. 🌞🚴♀️🖖
Peter Pan forever!
Duz, I spotted a fat bike in there. Why don't more people use fat bikes for bikepacking?
I think because overall they’re very slow. They can be handy in sandy situations, but apart from that, they’re not nearly as efficient.
Hey Ryan, is that the same 600X you rode the Baja with? I'm curious how many miles you can get out of one..
Yep! These bikes last a long, long time!
I wan't to go there.
Come join us in 2025!
Duzer and johnny sins Collab!! Woohooo
How does a guy apply to be one of "The four best friends that anyone could have" !!!! That looked gruelling, lm 65 so maybe not this year.
There were quite a few 60+ riders on this one. Come on and join us next year!
If you’re there (and you like beans) you’re in!
Ryan do you think you will ever do a road trip again or at this point just off road?
Great series Ryan, thanks! What do you think would be the MIN tire size for this route? 2.2"?
I think 2.2 would be the minimum for sure. I was running 2.6 and very happy with my choice in all loose sand and the swamps
2.2 would be bare minimum for me. Some go skinnier and usually regret it.
👍👍👍👍💯🤙🤙✌️
Too bad the rail trails in FL*rida are only where houses are $3 mil. The poor sub 3 millionaires are all on car dependent land up north.
These mostly go through pretty chill neighborhoods, not the ritzy ones.
I was considering attending a group bikepacking event, but I think I’d find all that banter and hypermasculine behavior insufferable. Thanks for the film, it really helps viewers decide whether it would be their thing or not.
Overall, it's a community of camaraderie and inclusivity. If you find the right friends to go with, it's an amazing good time.
As long as you don't wear a horny helmet, you should be safe from deer hunters.
haha, true ;)
It worked.
Another great one! Sam has been running around singing “we’re the 3 best friends that anyone can have…” all day long. Thanks a lot. 🫠haha
Haha!! Give Sam a hug from me
Hello Ryan, We have been watching your videos for a very long time. We have tried to use many of your filming techniques in our videos. {weekends with frank&Christine} However, your skill level is far above ours. We have always enjoyed your attitude, your love of the outdoors and the way you capture it on film to tell a story. In your FL series and Baja series I picked up on, or noticed an edge. Something was just a little bit off. I don't comment on videos but, I felt compelled to reach out to you. I tried to ignore it, but it just would not go away. So here it is. You will find what you seek. You have an appointment for this Sunday. 225 Majestic View Dr, Boulder, CO 80303 at 10 A.M. Calvary Boulder Valley. I'm just the messenger. I, like you, battled substance abuse. But God, and now I seek peace in all that I do. Oh, one more thing. Thanks for the best friend's song it has been stuck in my head for days!!
