IT is pretty awesome power i have a rzr800 stock so i cant even imagine what this thing feels like but i agree 250hp tops. The 1000hp rail was pulling away hard and trying to keep the front wheels out of the sky he was probably at 40% throttle pulling but still id be happy with 100hp at this point
Robert Gomez not at all plenty of liter bikes run this kind of horsepower. Yes it will shorten the life of the engine but that’s always the trade off between power and reliability. Think about it there are all kinds of 2.0 liter 4 cylinders making 700-900hp so why couldn’t a engine half there size make half that power.

Looks like a death trap, it’s barely controllable on the straights let alone the turns. There’s no way that thing is making 400 hp, you got smoked by every dune buggy you raced and they were still pulling.
Some of those buggies are LS twin turbos...1000 to 1500hp is not uncommon....As far as other sxs's its pulling them like they are broke...400hp with good crank and forged internals yes!!

The wildcat xx has the same engine as a yxz though. So the Textron Wildcat XX could be just as fast with a better suspension to boot.

Theres yxz's out there making over 500 at the crank... plenty of yamaha 3 cylinder drag snowmobiles in the 700hp range now as well. It has been done!
