In all fairness the main tank should always get prioritized to get gear a bit quicker so I think this is totally fair.

In classic wow the guild i was in, started progressing through MC as soon as we had 40 man that could do it which was around 2 weeks after the release of world of warcraft, progress was slow to begin with as we had no tactics and knew nothing. After the first 3 weeks we had murdered our way down to Ragnaros with many missteps on the way. Week 6 after release we finally killed ragnaros then we killed him every single week untill the release of TBC, we got exactly 3 Sulfuras and 0 Thunderfurys.
In classic, we got MC on farm since January give or take, most of us got our T2 legs...no eye, and no Garr binding.
After 2 weeks u were max level is what that means? Idk what level u gotta for the raid.

As per the Rogues not rolling on the daggers, I think it was a side-effect of how attack power scaled with attack speed for certain abilities back then. I think WoW classic uses a post-normalization patch for most of the actual gameplay related data but there should still be Sword Specialization's 1% chance to attack again and it placed tremendous value in slow 1h swords, especially for humans who had the additional 5 sword skill.
I definitely remember Combat Dagger spec being a thing though, but maybe that was better in an earlier patch to 1.13.
I want to say that post Normalization (Patch 1.8) which knocked slow swords down a peg or two, the shift towards daggers had less to do with patching the gameplay than it did the gear that dropped from a later raid. I can't remember if it was BWR or AQ gear that made combat daggers a thing, but it ended up swinging back towards swords during Naxx, though the gap wasn't nearly as big as it was during Tier 1 Raids.

I will say that for me personally, I'll never again be in a raid that doesn't do loot council. Rolling for gear in a 40 man raid is...ugh. But, that's just a personal preference and in no way a reflection on how you do things. I think it's awesome. Grats on the Molten Core clear. Enjoy it!

Sword will give you more white damage, but combat dagger yellow damage is stronger, the difference is not that big, but with this gear it is lol...

No delay. He always leads alone
You can clear Naxx/AQ with a Pug.
You might wipe to some bosses until everyone who's new knows the deal, but no vanilla raid requires lots of coordination.
@@iamsyntai2565 Ehh, some of the fights in BWL/AQ/Naxx will give pugs trouble, but not much more than an undergeared group doing the new raid through LFR on retail. The hardest part is keeping 40 people around after a wipe, having to clear trash again and calming down any argument that could lead to the raid falling apart.
But yeah, comms are hardly necessary if everyone has already watched a video or read the strats.

Was so entertaining watching, for those of us who cleared this content over a decade ago, watching all these new videos and watching how bad the strategies are and how sloppy the 40 man's AR I must say it's quite hilarious, we would clear molten core and half of bwl and around 4 hours, these newbies on the vanilla have much to learn and it is quite enjoyable to watch LOL

Yeah the try hard min max players said that sword spec is a small amount better so they need to have swords.. dummies. Combat dagger spec with the Perdition's Blade and Core Hound Tooth is great damage. I used those two weapons for like a year in vanilla then i eventually got a Misplaced Servo Arm from Naxx.

That dagger is the best mainhand weapon in the game for rogues till BWL is released in 4-6 months . The min max players say swords are slightly more dps but that is only true if you have a sword from BWL/AQ40/Naxx. Also backstab uses more energy so maybe they have more fun using sinister strike with a sword because it is usable more often. If i was a rogue in this raid i would be pissed that a warrior got it.

Its good to have a thunderfury debuff in the raid, but it's not a great tanking weapon. It's good for threat, but any tank that has threat issues has a problem as a tank, not with their weapon. There's much better defensive weapons out there. It's best on your first off tank. Great on a rogue but it becomes obsolete quickly.

@@konradbrochocki4923 Because the raid buff is strong. If you're in TBC, you aren't going to sacrifice rogue DPS on a thunderfury, and if you don't have an OT with thunderfury, then it makes sense for MT.
@@ot7578 No, I'm sorry my guy, but it's pretty evident you have no idea what you're talking about. The fact that you consider a rogue ever getting this weapon in a serious guild makes it obvious. I recommend Skarm Tank vids if you want to learn more.

Something makes me feel like they’re screwing with some behind the scenes things in classic to ensure that interest in it dwindles, hoping people go on to play BFA or upcoming expansions. This is insane to get a bindings half already. I remember in vanilla it took over a year for anyone to even get this started. Like it was only speculated that it even existed for a long time

I've had numerous "omniscient" encounters in wow (not loot specific, but action specific) where there was no other explanation than GM involvement. I was never a streamer but I was a very high end, very skilled PVPer. Sometimes things would happen that were simply not possible. They definitely do things behind the scenes imo.
