I like how they readdressed Illidan in Legion, but it did feel like something they realized needed to be done with the benefit of hindsight (as opposed to an organic continuation of the story); people were rightly underwhelmed that he did basically nothing for all of Burning Crusade. He just sulked at the top of the Black Temple until raiders came to kill him.
I find it interesting that the golden eye Night Elves (the two that I can think of) : Illidan and Azshara both were "betrayers". Both were transformed into something evil

Garrosh seeing his father in trouble of a great blast from a distance and sprinting to tackle his own father while throwing his own back into the flame for his father in mid-air was the greatest act of Honor Blizzard has shown to date. Garrosh was just as much of a Hero as he was a Villian. Sadly, Thrall knew he had to be stopped after decimating Pandaria.

I had so much fun in legion, especially the campaign, the lore, i loved it. And i remember each class had their own covenent and campaign too
Legion was easily one of my fave expansions. I'd put it second to wrath for me personally.
