When i bought my first rolex literally no one was waiting in the line for a gmt. People didint like the triangle gmt hand and the fonts were crazy big on the bezel. But as soon as rolex came with the two colour bezels all that was forgotten and even the black bezel gmt was cool all of a sudden. Same with the green sub. It was a clown colour and people made fun of you saying you look like a fucking kermit wearing that thing. The grey market price has trippled since. I believe that social media has reached out to a much larger watch community than before and also different generation of watch enthousiasts. Moreover, it has attracted much watch owners that can only think in safe investments that a youtube channel recommends rather than buying what they like. It is truely a mess. The pepsi GMT is the only gmt i have liked so far. However, is it cool enough to cost 10k list price watch? Hmmm maybe and thats a big maybe. Is it cool enough to cost 18k grey price? Hell no. Would this watch still be this hot if you could actually buy it at retail knowing it would not increase in value at all? Certainly not.
I got the Master catalogue without buying the watch for free, without buying a watch! From a Rolex Boutique AD! Got on the list, 1st priority without buying none popular model, hopefully I will get my watch soon!
Personally the Batgirl, is more beautiful than the Pepsi! I’ve tried both, I’m in Awe with the Batgirl! Will be getting it in a couple of days, from my AD! Six month on the waitlist!
Just ordered it today AD said I will have it before Xmas I am so delighted . The queue is a myth they said if you have history after buying a Patek it’s guaranteed you will have it for European buyers . They just filter the new money and the flippers which is the right thing to do . Great to focus on our grail ! I changed my mind 3 times while ordering between Pepsi and Submariner black but AD said I can only have one. Your review came to mind ! 🙏

Though I wish Rolex would some day replace the easy-link extension with Sub’s style Glidelock, as it saves you from unnecessary trip to Rolex Service for any link adjustment. To me an easy-link is quite useless as 5mm expansion is simply a bit too much.

She had a batman on display she let me try on, stright fire. she asked me what do I do for a living I should her my job id- Sheriff Deputy. She not only physically put down my info. But also gave me the same rolex book you have in tge thumb nail of this video. Hopefully everything goes well, she said it could take several months up or to a little of a year. What's you guys thoughts? I told my wife I'm trying to buy msrp tge right why, but if that call don't come by 05/2024 I'm going straight to the grey market. Forgive typos I never try to proof write on youtube.

I got super lucky by trading my 2013 Explorer 11 , for the Rolex Pepsi , only took 2 months and got the Pepsi for the difference of $375 . I am so happy with my trade
I never bought any of the Rolex GMT models because all of them came with the not so desired colors. I never liked or would have ever bought the unattractive red, blue, green and root-beer colored bezels. They all looked like cheap toys. But now so glad that at last Rolex released their super gorgeous new GMT with the Grey/Black beautiful and attractive bezel. This new GMT is the 126710GRNR model also known as the Bruce Wayne model. I liked this new GMT so much that I just bought it. It comes with either the Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. I bought the model with the Jubilee bracelet and it looks just simply amazing. This of course is a very personal taste and your taste may differ than mine.

These gmt’s you can dive in. Most people don’t scuba beyond 70’ depth anyway. More than enough.
