thanks alot dude i know this video is old but you clearly know your stuff. i just got mine out used. but it was still in the box. bought in japan and resold from california. serato intro is my software. thanks man ,
I do want one of these now. I already have the Reloop Mixage IE controller I must say I am impressed with Reloop. I have recieved a free upgrade for the Traktor Le to LE 2 since my computer couldn't support the LE version well. I do want the Terminal Mix 4 to step up my game though.
Just ordered the Terminal Mix 4... I also got to try it out and wanted to know if the jog wheels sensitivity are adjustable. Notice I had to put a little more pressure on the jog wheel to scratch compared to other jog wheels. Thanks Blaze for all your reply.
I'm definitely getting one of these, I own a Kontrol S4 & i love it but I'm just tired of the updates never working right. So I'm coming back to Serato & VDJ
Hi, its me again. Just thought I would let you know that I have found a way to improve the latency of the scratching on VDJ. TH-cam won't let me post the link but just google "Tight Scratching on Terminal Mix 4". If you have time please have a go at it and let us know what you think. I tried it on my 4-MX and there was a marked improvement. According to the users on forum, it is possible to get it as tight as Serato. Cannot wait to get the TM4!!
Thanks a million for the review. Small concern about scratching on VDJ. Is this a VDJ issue or an issue with the controller. What I mean is will the scratching on VDJ be worse on this controller than with other touch sensitive controllers using VDJ? I have a Hercules 4-MX which with VDJ and the scratching is not bad, but not great. If the quality is the same I can live with it, but if it is going to be worse than what I already have then that's a big issue.Appreciate your views if you have time.
Thanks for your Response DJ Blaze.... I know the software is not as good as Serato Itch, but as far as being a controller. Would you recommend this controller over the Vestax VCI-300 MKII? Would like to use this controller as back-up or small events, but hope it's more reliable than the Vestax vci-300 mkii due to it's jog wheel and fader crapping out.
hi do you know how to repair terminal mix 4??? because my terminal mix 4 have a problem, when i up the volume faders is not loud, and when i down the fader volume is loud...
Hey Blaze, Honest opinion! You think this controller is worth purchasing and can handle the everyday work of a mobile DJ? I was going to purchase the Vestax VCI-300mkii but the maintenance is horrible (jog wheel, etc)
Great review...........Here's my problem. I want 4 decks, I have no fears in mapping a product but I cannot for the life of me decide on this unit or the pioneer DDJT1.....Both are visually very different .............appear to have the same controls...............different size ..............different price !.........this unit just appears to be the better of the 2 ......two weeks now and its driving me mad ......your view would be greatly appreciated Thanks
Is there really a bad latency on this controller when using traktor pro?? Im considering buying this but i love cutting ad scratching. Would this be decent for my scratch needs or do you suggest another compact dj controller of this size for scratching
is the aux input assignable to the crossfader so you can link a turntable for a scratch deck?? it doesnt appear to be but cant find any vids that show it bein used
now im using serato dj, but the thing is it doesn't have a fx effect like djm mixer as a noise, space and other. is there any way to get those fx effect. and one more thing i wanna ask you about external mixer. if one day i to upgrade, can i connect it with an external cdj mixer even effect unit.
Thanks for the fast response dude! I'm leaning more towards having a controller with 4 decks cause of individual line faders and being able to cut the decks of quickly (so less chance any f'ups when switching)? If you can suggest any others on the market for that price bracket by all means I'm all ears.. I just read on reloop forum as it's only got 1 input it can't have timecode setup. Shame I was really hoping to future proof with that.
hey Blaze you wont' believe this but I've managed to find an awesome deal on the Denon MC6000 which I can afford! I am not very familiar with it though. Can you think is there any parts to it that would be lacking to Traktor compared to the Reloop? I know all the connections on the Denon as a stand aloe kick ass compared to the Reloop but is there anything that is actually missing on the hardware controls? Hope this makes sense!
I've looked everywhere! Even on the reloop website and nothing concrete..step by step, how do you load a new sample on virtual dj le? It is an audio sample I recorded but it won't let me drag on there and there is no option to load anything either..Thank you for your time:)
wassup bro....seems like my left platter on my terminal mix 4 platter is a little tighter...(not as loose) as the right side...is there anyway i could open this thing and adjust it..raise it up or something?
i've got virtual dj pro7 with the spyn djmc100 controller along with the drivers for windows7, if i change to the reloop mix4 do i just plug in and go.
I am using the controller with Serato DJ. I also have a DDJ-SX. and I actually prefer it over the pioneer but I cannot find the sensor button on the real is there one?
hi Kareem big up to all your work and the people you have helped quick question please respond asap and put yourself in my shoes as a novice ( absolute no experience in dj'ing or mixing) but am an enthusiast and understand the general grasp of it from watching so many videos on youtube! ok so for my first controller and probably to stay for several years becuase im skint all the time, which would you recommend on: stanton djc4, reloop mix 4, ddj ergo v or k? thankyou in advance for the advice!:)
thanks for this, I had a quick question, do you get 16 total samplers on this unit (all together)? Debating which to get, Pioneer (2 platter controller Pioneer DDJ-SB or this good controller... any advice? thanks
hi i just brought reloop terminal mix 4. i wanna ask you that is it able to external effector like rmx 1000 or any way to get an effect like noise, space on an pioneer djm. i see in serato there is no kind of this effect so i need your help.
Hi Blaze! Firstly thanks a lot for taking the time for the great review! I'm trying to find a good quality 4deck midi controller. For my budget so far its between the Reloop, Stanton DJC.4 & Numark N4. I know the differences between them with the connections but which one maybe the best for Traktor & also best sound quality output? Also enough functions/buttons that will correspond to Traktor (so there would be less need for using the mouse). I'd really appreciate any advice you can give buddy.
i have this mixer but i cant get it to work for me. its brand new but im not sure how to connect everything . if u can help, let me know. thanks maybe a tutorial on setting it up?
Sorry man, you just have to follow the instructions or you can listen to the Setup Section of this review to get an idea. You just need to connect USB and download and install the software. Good Luck.
***** i appreciate the fast response. its sounds like its pretty basic in terms of the set up process? Once you download the software, and plug in the usb to the computer, will the computer recognize the mixer and sync up with the software; so you can start mixing right away? thanks for your time and energy for answering my questions. if you need anything let me know and ill support as much as i can , jimmy silva
+David Kavanagh i'm looking for one too first i was seeing mixtrack pro ll but neh pioneer sb is similar this is pretty good i used this 2 times and feel amazing and pretty solid the terminal loop 8 have more colors so you can recognize more easy the buttons for 100 dolars? i don't know too much if is it old or something (sorry about my english)
Greetings DJBlaze! I'm about to buy a used Terminal Mix 4 for 250 euros (in Greece). Wanted to ask you about the sound quality of the unit. I read somewhere that it's decent, just wanted to confirm. Also, since I read that you kept this controller, is there something in particular that I should give notice on? Like something that broke after extensive use you did on it? Thanks in advance, Theo.
StumbledOnThis Yeah, sound quality is good... I didn't have any sound issues with it. Nothing really to look out for but make sure all buttons and knobs work perfectly still... Good Luck.
Thanks DJbooth. Did not see a Sync button and I am thinking of getting one of these. Didn't know that the had the terminal 8 until I saw your video. Thanks man
Hi! I watch many of yours review and i have a little question waanna ask you. I want to one of dj controller and i want your oppinion to help me decide. Right now im looking for Reloop Terminal Mix 2/4, numark n4, pioneer ddj s1, and traktor s4. Can you help me to decide and reason why. Thx alot for your help
I enjoyed a lot seeing some clips of mixation fro a DJ Angelo's . Am also a DJ therefore seeing this exorbitant cuts and loops it gives me a kind of skills and confidence as we learn and still learning as day passes, thank you-
Right now everyone can create and even download brilliant beats online on "Beat MaxPro" (do a Google search for it)? I enjoyed watching the video clip on their website, this might be helpful for you too.
thanks alot dude i know this video is old but you clearly know your stuff. i just got mine out used. but it was still in the box. bought in japan and resold from california. serato intro is my software. thanks man ,
Thanks for watching in 2021! Happy it is still relevant for you today!
This will be my first controller so i don't really know what i'm used to but i've got used to how the ergo works by watching other videos.
I do want one of these now. I already have the Reloop Mixage IE controller I must say I am impressed with Reloop. I have recieved a free upgrade for the Traktor Le to LE 2 since my computer couldn't support the LE version well. I do want the Terminal Mix 4 to step up my game though.
Your right as ever bud! Dream would be the NS6/4trak or S4 but it's twice the price here in UK compared to others in my budget... thanks again!
You sir have made my mind up ...many thanks !..great work on the review !!

I found an open box deal on this, one question. Does it have dedicated track load buttons? Thanks.
Thanks for your Response DJ Blaze.... I know the software is not as good as Serato Itch, but as far as being a controller. Would you recommend this controller over the Vestax VCI-300 MKII? DDJ SX or Reloop Terminal Mix 4?
The reason I ask is I have two decks (or two decks + another mixer) which I will be looking to plug in as well.
hi do you know how to repair terminal mix 4??? because my terminal mix 4 have a problem, when i up the volume faders is not loud, and when i down the fader volume is loud...
you mentioned in ur review that it will only work on 2 decks with the serato dj intro. what if you upgrade to serato dj? will the 4 deck works?

Hey DJ Blaze, Crucial question. As a professional DJ, which controller would you recommend.
Vestax VCI-300 MKii or Reloop Terminal Mix 4? =)
Is there really a bad latency on this controller when using traktor pro?? Im considering buying this but i love cutting ad scratching. Would this be decent for my scratch needs or do you suggest another compact dj controller of this size for scratching
can you please do an unboxing and a review on the gemini g4v 4 channel midi controller?
I already have VDJ pro 7. Will the terminal mix 4 be ready to plug and play out of the box or is it only mapped to VDJ LE that is included?
I'm just starting out djing and i'm going to get my first controller should i get this or the pioneer ddj ergo?
great video! I have been using a vestax vci300mk2 and am looking to upgrade.
Pioneer DJ FAX is great. I real like it. Easy to use and application of effects are easy too
Dam thats what would have sold it for me what other products do you recommend with the 4 channels?
is the aux input assignable to the crossfader so you can link a turntable for a scratch deck?? it doesnt appear to be but cant find any vids that show it bein used

Excellent video, thanks for your time!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching!

hi i just brought reloop terminal mix 4. i wanna ask you that is it able to external effector like rmx 1000 or any way to get an effect like noise, space on an pioneer djm. i see in serato there is no kind of this effect so i need your help.

Hi Blaze! Firstly thanks a lot for taking the time for the great review!
I'm trying to find a good quality 4deck midi controller. For my budget so far its between the Reloop, Stanton DJC.4 & Numark N4. Thanks in advance, Theo.

can you use this controller with Serato Itch?
is there traktor pro mapping if yes where can i download it ?
can u make review on nox 606?
can you not plug any other decks in?
I'd get the Terminal Mix 4 over all of those because it just feels better... I kept mine...
does it work with virtual dj?
you set the crossfader curve to the sharpest and the software curve to the sharpest SIMPLE
Thanks i like your videos
Do these come with the sync feature?
Reloop all the way ;)
Cheers Kareem, much appreciated, just don't want to make my decks redundant lol :)

USB Only=Toy

No Adopter Included, are they serious!
