Molly looks like she’s going to accuse Chris of witchcraft after crushing the garlic by hand.
that's exactly it
She’s so annoying, nobody at BA likes her which is why Chris is the only one who will shoot with her
I ACCUSETH GOODIE MOROCCO - WITCH, WITCH, WITCH!!!!
Speed Racer wtf? That’s so mean ):
Ya she sure does haha.
The smoothness of Chris catching the garlic and crushing it was immaculate
I wanted to try this as soon as I saw it! This is now my new normal...
Molly's shock at him crushing the garlic was equally pleasing
Yes. This comment.
I was molly in that scene
He’s amazing
*Chris Morocco getting fired*
“Pack your spoons and go”
I am done!
This is funny and all, but who would fire Chris Morocco? *BA, please don't fire Chris Morocco or we will hold Rappo hostage until you return Chris to his post*
Snortworthy!

Delaney and christina should be in the same frame more often
Delaney and Christina are for sure dating.
I was thinking the exact thing!!!
they are both ... so beautiful omfg
yes i agree
my heart is breaking but you know im happy for them
Jon Favreau did a TON of research for Chef as well as being a foodie himself. He has a Netflix show all about it! He’s a seriously wholesome dude.

She was SHOOK too lmao

Gaby’s version of ‘there is no spoon.’ Obviously Chris could never be a consultant for a Matrix movie.

also "There is no spoon" to taste it either

John Favreau trained with Roy Choi specifically for "Chef." John isn't a pro chef, but he learned a lot just for the movie. He wanted it to be as authentic as possible.

i love these duos so much
gabby & brad: grandparents that give u candy when ur parents arent looking
molly & chris: Those rich AND smart aunt and uncle

i love how chefs squealed when Ratatouille came up🥺
I love Christina, her saying "ah, Hoolie and Hoolia, the 2009 psychological thriller" KILLS me.
Jon Favreau spent months with a professional chef and legit learned how to cook for the Chef movie guys. He has a cooking show called Chef Show on Netflix with the same chef he worked with (Roy Choi). It's fun, I'd recommend.

@@telectronix1368 facts, as much as I love garlic, I've never made anything that's used basically an entire bulb. No need to break up the family, when you need 2-3 at a time.
Note: for "Eat Drink Man Woman", they had a number of professional chefs play the role of "hand doubles" (according to Ang Lee, they used 5 or 6 different chefs).

Jon Favreau actually trained under a Chef, and went to culinary school, for that role. So not surprised his skills were on point
He did a series called The Chef Show (UK Netflix title at least) where he and Roy Choi who trained him for Chef do a lot of cooking with friends/celebrities and chefs where Jon is really obviously passionate about learning to cook. I'd turned off Chef the first time I tried to watch it but went back to it after watching the show. Also made some tasty meals after being inspired by it. I'd recommend the show if you haven't seen it.
All the closeups of his hands are actually Roy Choi, the owner of the Kogi foodtruck business.
In the movie Chef John F actully learned the skills. He hired Roy Choi to consult to make the cooking scenes realistic. They also made a nextfix series togeather about cooking
My god, I love this channel.
Chris and molly mimicking andy is hilarious 😂 😂
Can we have a whole series of just Gaby and Brad trashing every cooking scene in Gilmore girls? I love the show with my whole heart, but I need more of this content.

Lmao 0:57 Molly’s face before she sees him do it is like: yeah he’s not gonna do it & then she just gets swept off her feet
You know Chris (or basically anyone) is legit when he does something without struggling
John went full method for Chef, check out his Netflix show Chef Show and they go thru all of it
I can't believe people don't know this. He has so much content with Roy Choi at this point. Crazy they have never seen Chef before
Right... in almost full mini doc style lol. Great film, great content! Want more!
I do remember all the praise that was given to Eat Drink Man Woman in regards to the handling of all the food and cooking scenes. It was very beautifully done.
The Chef Show shows the training that Jon Favreau has under Chef Roy Choi to prepare for the film Chef! Incredible show

I'm a bit disappointed that the classic Korean TV series "Pasta" (2010, MBC network) didn't make the cut. Beautiful story, layer after layer of subtext, great food, and they hired one of Korea's most renowned chefs, Sam Kim, to be the technical adviser and the hands for the close-up food shots. Christina, now all the ahjummas will judge you with whispers and disapproving looks.
