Actually, the most recognizable scent is crayola crayons. There was a study done.
Soviet Spaghet As a kid, I could taste and smell but it wasn’t always good. Like I always got thrown off, like an apple sometimes tasted like a strawberry. Or a cake cooking could smell really horrible. I don’t know why it’s like that.

@@telectronix1368 As someone who despises coffee and loves chocolate, I would have to agree with ZLDL in the 'very wrong' category. They don't taste alike at all. Coffee-flavoured items have coffee-specific bitter notes that, not matter how much you drown it in sugar and cream, never go away. :S

I literally hide little lactaid packets in different pockets of my jackets, purses, etc. so there's always am emergency stash somewhere.
And I'm over here just suffering because for whatever reason I've never gotten lactaid pills 🤦🏻♀️ I really need to get some. I love dairy too much, and always suffer for it. I say this as I'm eating gelato btw.

For a flavour no one would get completely, they should've done the oat/strawberry thing (which not just Andy got, I think) for the ones who got walnut, miso or booza

So after this, my wishlist of people trying eachother’s shows would be:
Reverse engineering: Andy and Sohla (Because of how good they are at identifying things in this show)
Back to back: Molly (Because she gets along great with literally anyone)
Every way to cook: Brad (he’d have some great and unexpected ideas)
Gourmet makes: Chris (similar perfectionist personality type as claire + i think his super taster abilities could help him with this one)
It’s alive: Carla (i honestly would watch carla doing anything, and i think she would have a lot of fun with the experimenting)
Molly tries: Claire (claire inventing things is my absolute fave ba thing)
Andy explores: Delany (he always seems so interested in whatever he is doing, i think he’d be great at picking up how to create the food and to be respectful of other cultures whilst doing so)
12 types: Christina and Priya (they are both so calm and easy to listen to, i think they’d make 12 types really interesting)
Alex eats it all: Amiel and Gaby (i just want to see them explore town together, i think they’d pick a good restaurant to go through the menu of - and it would be really cool to see if gaby could do that with sustainability in mind!)
This is comprehensive and it MUST happen!

Why yes. Yes we are. :D Chris' tasting ability seems to be very much a told rather than shown skill.
It may just be that he has so much information coming in that it overwhelms him, combined with an inclination to hear hoofbeats and think zebras.
I think that all his senses just attack him and his head gets muddled and confused.
He was near the top for cheese. I think he just doesn't eat a lot of these.
Andy: I can taste the swirl mmmm that's adding that chewiness throughout the ice cream and RUINING THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE.
