@@CamillaJohannesen this will be our first time on an island! But we've been to sooooo many places over the years for only our initial cost and then $100/mo maintenance ever since. It is points-based, not resort-based, so we can go wherever we want within the Club Wyndham inventory. Those units at St Thomas usually go for about $700/night so for our four night stay, it has well paid for itself and we go on at least three-four vacations a year. We love to travel!

I went to St Thomas and it was so amazing and fun! I really want to go again. We also stayed at that same resort! We loved Coki beach. That was our favorite one. We made a nice golf cart driver who took us everywhere!

And yes, Coki is one of my favorite places as well, it's so much fun there and always great music! ❤️ The resort is so sweet, and I love everyone driving around in the golf carts too!

Yes! We just used the Dji Mavic Mini for these shots. I think we paid around $400-$500. For a beginner drone I think that one is perfect! and after you can level up to the Mavic Pro 🙏🏻

@@shantassialee3989 So I'm not a US citizen yet, waiting for visa papers. And when you go to St. Thomas you only show a passport or a valid ID to the people checking your luggage. But when you fly back to New York, you have to go through passport control in St. thomas! That’s where you have to have your papers printed and presented to them. I've been questioned there once before. But as long as your papers are fine, you are good to go!

Never seen this much snow in New York in my 8 years of living here. But I'm guessing Vancouver is not much different haha? ✨❄️☃️ But yes, I was pretty shocked too about the crowds at the airport, but I honestly think it was bc we traveled on December 26th. We had to get a negative covid test to travel into the USVI, but did not need a new covid test to get back to New York. At least when we were there in Jan 2021.

You only need to bring a negative Covid test into St. Thomas from wherever you are flying in from. Like we were traveling from New York, so we had to get tested in NY before we went to St. Thomas. I left St Thomas in 2017 with my fiancé leaving my 2 kids behind due to the hurricanes. It was the most hardest thing I have ever done since the last I lived in the states when I was 19. Thank you for visiting my home. It looks so good but I know it has a long way to go. I will be home next year for sure 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I can't wait for you to go back, and see St. Thomas and the whole USVI built up again ❤️ I feel like it has come a long way already. We were there a year before the hurricane, and then we went back another time right after the hurricane, and I saw all the damages. Now when we visit, it has come back so strong, it's so beautiful to see!
Yeees, def worth to check out. We still feel like there is a lot we haven’t seen, even after visiting 4 times. I do like that it's not so many tourists there either, so it's really enjoyable and not overcrowded! AND YES, can't wait to go back to Hanoi. I honestly think I want to live there for a while.

Hahah, my sister used to be flight attendant and she told me most of the time they don’t take off without you if your luggage is on board the plane. Because it's more stress for them to find your luggage, and take it off the plane, instead, they just wait for you lol. BUT this is of course not always thee case, so I have lost some flights haha 😂😂😂😂

Hi again Shaniqua! 🤩 That is so incredibly exiting, you will def have the best time! I have 2 other videos from St. Thomas too, some more activities in those videos etc! I 100% recommend renting a car. I mean it depends where you are staying on the island and what your plans are etc. But We like to move around and explore, and it's so nice to have your own cr. Can be hard to find taxies and negotiate with them sometimes. If you are going to just relax on a resort, I guess you dont need one. But it you are planning on staying at an airbnb etc I would highly recommend it! A lot of AirBnbs in St. thomas also comes with a car. But yeah, you can check out the place we rented a car from, they were pretty friendly and nice!

Hii Brooke! Yes, I have 2 here, the 2 on the top of thiis list we stayed in. They are a but expensive, but for a few days or with a bigger group it's totally worth it! www.airbnb.com/wishlists/883373915 I also have a villa tour from one of them on my channel. If you want something more affordable, we also stayed at Margaritaville this January, and that was fine too. Not as nice as the villas of course, but the studio apartments were very nice! Hi Adam! So it varies each time we go, the first time we went we rented a small house, then sometimes we rent a massive villa and split it with a bunch of friends. For this exact trip I don’t remember 100% accurately. But we stayed at Margaritavilla this time, I highly recommend renting a villa instead lol. But Margaritaville was around $2000 for the both of us for 8 days. But keep in mind we went the day after Christmas, so it's naturally more expensive. Then we used $400 for a car for a week, we split it with another couple, so $200 on transport. Then food is pretty expensive too, like $10 for a drink and a meal is around $30. We do however always go to the grocery store the first day, so I make a lot of my own breakfasts, and lunches. Then most of the activeties we do were free, like beach hopping. Tho a trip to St. john easy cost $60 with the ferry, plus parking on the beaches etc. So I don’t have a specific answer, but I hope you found that helpful!

I totally agree with you! The only place I find it okay to sleep on vacation is if you are exhausted, and you fall asleep on a beautiful beach, I would call that multitasking!

Yes, you should 100% go! It's such a beautiful place, with a lot to see! 🤗 So it varies from what you want to stay and where you want to stay of course. But I would suggest looking on AirBnb, you can get some good hotel and apartment prices there! From $50 a night up to $300 a night. We also rented a car for a week, that was $400. Food can be cheap if you go to the local areas, or a bit more expensive if you go to the tourists areas. I wouldn’t call St. Thomas a cheap place, been to places way cheaper in South East Asia, but it's not super expensive either.
Ah, it's truly stunning there. Ii usually don’t go back to a place again and again when I travel, but St. Thomas is just so convenient and beautiful. I hope you get to go there one day!

Also, some AirBnb's in St. Thomas also comes with cars. If not, I would recommend renting a car too. And in regard to what airport, I would suggest to land at Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas. It's super easy, and that is where we have landed 4 times before. How long would you guys be staying? There is so much to do there. Day Trips to St. John, Beach hopping in St. Thomas, check out all their restaurants, go to Redhook, scuba diving etc! So much to do!

Hi Diana! I'm not too sure, because we usually throw our own parties at the villa we are staying at. But there are a few fun bars, like Duffys, and good fun atmosphere in RedHook. Also, a few boats you can party on! I feel like the easiest is to go there, and talk to the people that work in the bars, the beach etc. And they will tell you all the secrets! 🤗
Twenty? Are you kidding? You'd be in the Virgin Islands. Lol, make your own nightlife!!! Hell, at twenty, you are the nightlife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look! It's in the rule book! Actually, I advise you to view some of the live bar camera feeds from Croix, Thomas and John. Clearly, they are not back to full swing yet. You may want to wait, or like Camilla, bring your own party.
If you are a US citizen, then no you don’t need a passport, just ID. But if you want to visit British Virgin Islands you need a passport! 🤗 Haha, I've never had anyone there ask me for our age, maybe at nice restaurants, but not on the beach or the store.

@@CamillaJohannesen this will be our first time on an island! But we've been to sooooo many places over the years for only our initial cost and then $100/mo maintenance ever since. It is points-based, not resort-based, so we can go wherever we want within the Club Wyndham inventory. Those units at St Thomas usually go for about $700/night so for our four night stay, it has well paid for itself and we go on at least three-four vacations a year. We love to travel!

I went to St Thomas and it was so amazing and fun! I really want to go again. We also stayed at that same resort! We loved Coki beach. That was our favorite one. We made a nice golf cart driver who took us everywhere!
Awww, II'm so happy you had the best time! It's honestly such a magical place, I love it there, hence why we go back so many times. And yes, Coki is one of my favorite places as well, it's so much fun there and always great music! ❤️ The resort is so sweet, and I love everyone driving around in the golf carts too!

Yes! We just used the Dji Mavic Mini for these shots. I think we paid around $400-$500. For a beginner drone I think that one is perfect! and after you can level up to the Mavic Pro 🙏🏻

@@shantassialee3989 So I'm not a US citizen yet, waiting for visa papers. And when you go to St. Thomas you only show a passport or a valid ID to the people checking your luggage. But when you fly back to New York, you have to go through passport control in St. thomas! That’s where you have to have your papers printed and presented to them. I've been questioned there once before. But as long as your papers are fine, you are good to go!
Of course you have to get up early when you are on vacation! You have to have time to see everything! I can sleep on the beach! Lol

Did you have to test for covid to get on airplane?
We had to get a negative covid test to travel into the USVI, but did not need a new covid test to get back to New York. At least when we were there in Jan 2021.

I left St Thomas in 2017 with my fiancé leaving my 2 kids behind due to the hurricanes. It was the most hardest thing I have ever done since the last I lived in the states when I was 19. Thank you for visiting my home. It looks so good but I know it has a long way to go. I will be home next year for sure 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I can't wait for you to go back, and see St. Thomas and the whole USVI built up again ❤️ I feel like it has come a long way already. We were there a year before the hurricane, and then we went back another time right after the hurricane, and I saw all the damages. Now when we visit, it has come back so strong, it's so beautiful to see!

Hahah, my sister used to be flight attendant and she told me most of the time they don’t take off without you if your luggage is on board the plane. Because it's more stress for them to find your luggage, and take it off the plane, instead, they just wait for you lol. BUT this is of course not always thee case, so I have lost some flights haha 😂😂😂😂

Hi again Shaniqua! 🤩 That is so incredibly exiting, you will def have the best time! I have 2 other videos from St. Thomas too, some more activities in those videos etc! I 100% recommend renting a car. I mean it depends where you are staying on the island and what your plans are etc. But We like to move around and explore, and it's so nice to have your own cr. Can be hard to find taxies and negotiate with them sometimes. If you are going to just relax on a resort, I guess you dont need one. But it you are planning on staying at an airbnb etc I would highly recommend it! A lot of AirBnbs in St. thomas also comes with a car. But yeah, you can check out the place we rented a car from, they were pretty friendly and nice!

Hii Brooke! Yes, I have 2 here, the 2 on the top of thiis list we stayed in. They are a but expensive, but for a few days or with a bigger group it's totally worth it! www.airbnb.com/wishlists/883373915 I also have a villa tour from one of them on my channel. If you want something more affordable, we also stayed at Margaritaville this January, and that was fine too. Not as nice as the villas of course, but the studio apartments were very nice! Let me know if that was helpful 🤩🙏🏻
If it’s not too personal, How much do you think you and your partner spend for that trip?
Hi Adam! So it varies each time we go, the first time we went we rented a small house, then sometimes we rent a massive villa and split it with a bunch of friends. For this exact trip I don’t remember 100% accurately. But we stayed at Margaritavilla this time, I highly recommend renting a villa instead lol. But Margaritaville was around $2000 for the both of us for 8 days. But keep in mind we went the day after Christmas, so it's naturally more expensive. Then we used $400 for a car for a week, we split it with another couple, so $200 on transport. Then food is pretty expensive too, like $10 for a drink and a meal is around $30. We do however always go to the grocery store the first day, so I make a lot of my own breakfasts, and lunches. Then most of the activeties we do were free, like beach hopping. Tho a trip to St. john easy cost $60 with the ferry, plus parking on the beaches etc. So I don’t have a specific answer, but I hope you found that helpful!

Are you from St. Thomas? 🤗 We have been there 4 times now, and I can never get enough, I love it SO much! I usually don’t go back to place over and over again, I like to explore new places. But St. Thomas is just so close to New York, and it's so beautiful that we have to go back every time!

No you do not need a passport just you're photo id, it is U.S territories
Hi Billyl! So I am not a US citizen yet, I'm waiting for my paperwork. So I basically can't leave the US in this process. But since USVI is part of the US I was fine. But you do not have to go through custom/passport control when you are going to the Virgin Islands. But when you are flying home, you have to go through custom/passport control at the airport in St. Thomas. That is where I had to show my paperwork. I had it on my phone, and they were pretty mad about that, and told me I should have printed my papers. I hope this helped! But yeah, like Lucy said, if you are an American you don’t need your passport just photo id! Enjoy!

Lots of people suggest you take your passport with your to leave the island back to mainland. But it’s a US territory! What was your experience?
Take the passport, you wont need it unless you go to the bvi. All ways good to have a back up.
Hi Ada! So I am not a US citizen yet, I'm waiting for my paperwork. So I basically can't leave the US in this process. But since USVI is part of the US I was fine. But you do not have to go through custom/passport control when you are going to the Virgin Islands. But when you are flying home, you have to go through custom/passport control at the airport in St. Thomas. That is where I had to show my paperwork. I had it on my phone, and they were pretty mad about that, and told me I should have printed my papers. I hope this helped! But yeah, like James said, if you are an American you don’t need your passport just photo id! Enjoy!

Yes, you should 100% go! It's such a beautiful place, with a lot to see! 🤗 So it varies from what you want to stay and where you want to stay of course. But I would suggest looking on AirBnb, you can get some good hotel and apartment prices there! From $50 a night up to $300 a night. We also rented a car for a week, that was $400. Food can be cheap if you go to the local areas, or a bit more expensive if you go to the tourists areas. I wouldn’t call St. Thomas a cheap place, been to places way cheaper in South East Asia, but it's not super expensive either.

I feel like the rules change all the time, so make sure to double check my words. But when we went in August it was not required. But we went again in December, and came back 3 weeks ago, and then it was required to show a negative covid test vaccine, not older than 5 days before departure! @@Beautyiskeyy_ Ah that sounds great! It's so fun to travel in a group. I would highly suggest renting an AirBnb then. It will prob be cheaper than getting a bunch of hotel rooms. Also, some AirBnb's in St. Thomas also comes with cars. If not, I would recommend renting a car too. And in regard to what airport, I would suggest to land at Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas. It's super easy, and that is where we have landed 4 times before. How long would you guys be staying? There is so much to do there. Day Trips to St. John, Beach hopping in St. Thomas, check out all their restaurants, go to Redhook, scuba diving etc! So much to do!

Hi Gabriel! We had such a great time and yes, we felt veery safe the whole time. Since everyone who visits the island need a negative covid test we also felt safe because of that. The jungle fever is fun tho 😂

Hi Diana! I'm not too sure, because we usually throw our own parties at the villa we are staying at. But there are a few fun bars, like Duffys, and good fun atmosphere in RedHook. Also, a few boats you can party on! I feel like the easiest is to go there, and talk to the people that work in the bars, the beach etc. And they will tell you all the secrets! 🤗

Actually, I advise you to view some of the live bar camera feeds from Croix, Thomas and John. Clearly, they are not back to full swing yet. If you are a US citizen, then no you don’t need a passport, just ID. But if you want to visit British Virgin Islands you need a passport! 🤗 Haha, I've never had anyone there ask me for our age, maybe at nice restaurants, but not on the beach or the store.
