Another great review, Gary, pizza is very subjective, a proper thin crust pizza with a nice crust around the edge, baked in a wood fire own,is very hard to beat. Been to Naples many times and always enjoy a few pizza's. Never been to Homeslice, we usually go to Eataly for pizza, but been to Icco, and it's fine for a pizza made in a gas oven and with ingredients which aren't top notch, ergo they can charge less. But that's my subjective point of view, of course. Keep up the fabulous work and speak to you soon, mate. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
Just curious, but would you say your Naples pizzas were the best you've had? There's a whole mythos about Naples pizza, the best you can get, where they originated etc... I've been a few times myself, and though they're very good, I wouldn't say amazing. FTR, my most memorable pizza was had in Pisa :)

Thank you very very much for this video, Mr Gary. Such controversy around PIZZA!! They both looked good, but I thought the first pizza looked delicious. All of the fresh ingredients! Yumm! Can't wait to see what comes next. 🍻
Both looked good, have to consider the price really. Hard to compare. Personally on a night out I'd go for the second. For a treat, the first. The olive thing must come with age, wouldn't touch them till' I was 35, now I love them, black and green. Cheers, great review again Gary.
Definitely for my taste the first pizza was the one i would like because i like that dough better and it was wood-fired which does give a better taste -although i thought £26 is pushing it a bit so it depends on how much dough 😀i have to spend so at times it might have to be the second one which for the money was ok. Good review and the shots of the pizzas were really professional.
Hi Gary, i much preferred the look of the cheaper pizza. You could have got 3 of the cheaper pizza for the cost of the dearer pizza. But not just the price i would have the cheaper pizza.
Lovely video chap...I would be very happy with the first restaurant...looked a great large pizza and thin which I like and you could easily share 👌👌🍕🍕and I also likes olives too 👍😋
First one was crazy expensive - would've been almost $60 Australian! Even though it was big it didn't have much topping. I would pick the second one myself. Best wishes from Tassie.
By the way, actually Italian pizza usually is purposefully covered in olive oil. It’s usually dripping. Never understood why people think that’s a bad sign for pizza.
Is it actually usually?! Have you considered the fact that the overwhelming majority of the world’s pizza eating populous are brought up on local variations and interpretations not native to Italy? While I’m sure some exist, I can’t name one pizza place in my local area who drizzle their pizzas with olive oil.
I'm not a pizza person Gaz... I always feel that any meal with bread or dough is not sit down meal but a snack or takeaway...same as tacos...😢 looks OK but a no from me I'm afraid...give me veg and meat all times...I don't mind a couple of chips but I dislike any other potato meal...wonderful vlog as always...preferred second pizza...well done Gaz....onwards and upwards xxx ❤😊
Hi Gary, great review again 👍🏽 I was making sourdough pizza 15 years ago before it was a thing. I thoroughly researched the art of Neapolitan pizza making. I can tell you that both pizzas looked pretty good to me although the first one looked as close to authentic as you can get. Sadly like a lot of Italian food it gets bastardised here in the Uk. The crust and base of both looked spot on with just the right amount of charring and thin crispy base. The first one margarita looked great cheese had melted into the sauce. 👍🏽 People are used to cheddar and Red Leicester which have no place on an authentic pizza. Also the amount of sauce looked just right if as you said it was properly made and full of flavour. Price of the first one seemed a bit steep but as you said pizza is a lot of dough 😂👍🏽
I agree. The first pizza is for me, and at 20 inches, is enough for two. So just £13 each portion. The second pizza looked gloopy and heavy. The whole point of a pizza is, that it's light, and very quick to cook.
Another wonderful review Gary. You already found the biggest Naan, now you have found the biggest pizza ! For me I feel price important, so £30 perhaps just a little too much for a pizza, even if scrumptious. But they both looked great !
One of the things i love about your videos is how the review is put together. No time wasting so it's not a 30 minute video. Just enough content so shout-out to the Camera man as i assume it's him/her who edits them and does a great job at filming as well. Take care :)
I appreciate that Sheldon. Yes, we have no interest in making videos longer than they need to be unless it's necessary. He does do all of that - thank you!
I just couldnt justify the price of that first pizza, yes i know its London but for what a pizza actually is i just couldnt. Pizza number two looked about par. I do love these cheap vs expensive videos it can be a real eye opener. Thanks again.
@@GaryEats I would have loved to see exactly how much air-dried Wagyu beef you got, on the priciest Homeslice pizza. But I don't blame you for baulking at the £34 price tag! 😱😱😱
Home slice is definitely one of the best spots in the city they always change their menu around! You pay for the quality of what you get it’s definitely no hype job. Great review enjoyed the editing!l Thank you
First pizza was way too expensive for some dough and toppings, although you said the flavours were good. (But so they should for the price). Second one was good value, and at the end of the day, a pizza isn't fine dining, it's to fill you up.
Hi Gary and Mr Cameraman, Great comparison video i really do like these type. Re my opinion, i wish i had taste vision as Pizza two was a hands down winner for me on price, looks and toppings alone. When i saw the first pizza, the first thing that came to mind was it was plain looking, and wheres the cheese ? but i trust you fully on the taste side of things. The second Pizza just looked so much better, and the cheese was very clearly there. Im Northern so a bit tight, but im prepared to sacrifice a little taste when its ether £26 + service charge, compared to £8-95, as that's nearly £19 extra for the first Pizza, and that's a lot of money. Chris. PS-Love Black olives, dislike Green ones's.
Hi Chris. Thanks for your comments and a nice assessment to read as well. I like doing these videos as you almost kill two birds with one stone. The lack of mozzarella on the first pizza was the disappointing part. Thank you mate, all the best. PS. Olives are superb.
The first one looked alright, although it was thin, and I could do without all the lawn trimmings on top. I'm a meat and cheese kind of person, onion, peppers, mushrooms, and black olives are the only other things I like on my pizza. The second one looked better to me, more like what I like in a pizza. I'd have no problem ordering from either establishment. Good review. Cheers.
Both looked very tasty to me Gary .. The first one looked good and they trusted you with that pizza slicer outside whilst the second one gave you a buzzer .! I'll defo check them out now on your recommendation next time I'm around that part of London ..
The prices in the first place were ridiculous. Born in NY and have enjoyed pizza all over the US, France, Italy and the UK, and now that pizza ovens are so common in many friends home’s too. It’s flour, water, yeast, salt, olive oil, crushed tomatoes and some cheese. 26 pounds?
Don't forget the cost to lease the space, for that location you are looking right around £120 sqft per month. That part of London is not a cheap place to do business, much like the Village in NYC, you look at it and think has to be cheap, then see the rental prices.
Joes Pizza in NYC is $23 for a 21inch Margherita. Not a million miles off the £24 for a 20inch Homeslice Margherita. I think you are thinking about prices in the past, they have gone up everywhere recently.
I thought the first was very expensive until I saw the size of it and the fact that it pretty much does two people or more! Agree on the olives, Gary, I used to detest them but in the last couple of years I have developed a penchant for them! 😂
Good point, when you divide it by two, it's not such a pricey pizza. I like this way of eating a restaurant pizza - choosing one between two, with two totally different toppings, makes the experience much more interesting. I liked the look of that one, as personally I prefer a thin pizza. Some pizza arrives at the table way too thick and dough-ey for my taste. That makes the whole thing horribly filling - one slice and you're done!
Relatively new to your channel and videos Gary. I find them entertaining and informative, they appear down to earth and honest, and your variety in different venues and comparison videos are great. Maybe your newest subscriber now 👍😅 Chris (Somerset)
Well, that's interesting. I thought the first one was horribly over-priced but a 20" pizza is nearly 3 times the area of a 12" pizza (using pi * r-squared as the formula), which for me at least is very counter-intuitive. So they were both about the same price! Given that, number one wins.
Comparing them by their diameter is misleading so I agree that by the time you calculate area, they are not that far off each other in price. The first one is definitely ideal for sharing. I make my own pizza quite often at home & have found it very easy to use too much topping, so I am not surprised it tasted great.
Well I know what I'm having for my supper lol. Both looked good, I would opt for the 2nd one Gary, it looked a fair quality as well as a spot on price!
Great review again. On first glance the second pizza looked better but you’re right - 2 could share the first one so price wise not a lot of difference, my only negative was I thought the margarita half looked boring - there looked to be some great choices on the menu tho. As for olives - first had them on a holiday to corfu 1980 and loved them ever since. Wouldn’t say no to either pizza have to say 👍
Icco's for me, looked far more appetising. Homeslice, prices were outrageous. £24 for a full margherita!, the thinest pizza I've seen with a smear of tomato, invisible cheese, and a basil leaf. Looked like it'd cost them buttons to make, probably about a £20 profit margin on each one. That said, cos i don't mind paying for top scoff, it was their menu that really put me off. Nothing on it I liked the sound of, some weird combos. I mean, curried lamb pizza!!! And your second half looked like a field of grass. I don't want that much green on a pizza. Re the olives, i've always been a fan :)
@@GaryEatsThere are places in NY doing curries on pizza,I haven’t had one,but I just know it will be good, really the same thing as the Turkish Lahmacun, which I love.
I thought he'd go for the second one as it looked really good and much better value, but he said it tasted better and that's the main thing. I like thin and crispy pizza too. As more toppings and less dough.
Thanks for another terrific review Gary, really enjoy the channel. Personally the first one did look good, but can’t justify that cost for a pizza even if it is good and much bigger. The second one had definitely more cheese which is something I enjoy on a pizza. You could actually get a couple of different cheaper pizzas for the price of the first one, thus more variety in toppings, so for me, probably the 2nd one would be my choice.
Nice getting your thoughts on two very different pizza options. It's London so deffo paying a fair bit. I thought the second one looked like it had more toppings on it and a little more appetizing tbh. But probably a close call taste wise.
If your in the mood to do another Pizza review Gary. The best in London is Vincenzos in Bushey. Vincent makes 200 pizza a day and sells out every day so you have to pre order. Perfect mix of Neopolitan and New York style.
Great video. Funnily enough, I used to go to icco pizza on Goodge Street whilst at uni in 2005. Amazing pizzas, great atmosphere and price point (even now)! The first pizza also looked good but definitely agree that the margarita should have had more cheese
Amazing pizza comparison 🍕👌🙌☺️ Good to be said about the both really. Both looked freshly, well made.both was generous with toppings. The choice of the half and harf would be more appealing to me,just for that reason-best of both worlds. The salami, rocket and Parmesan is my second favourite type of pizza. Veggie pizza is my favourite. I would give the olives a miss.tried a few times over the years- just can’t like them and I’ve tried them in one of the best places in the world- Rhodes,Greece. Another most excellent episode sir ….
Olive, pepperoni and fresh chilli is my go to topping however the make or break factor with pizza is the base, both of these looked super thin and really well baked. Perfect!
Pizza i can take them or leave them ,can never understand why people would have them for dinner . Price i would go for the cheapest place that i could find, its just snack food and would never pay £26 for a pizza no mater what the size is lol . The 2nd one i thought looked really good . The first one looked good also ,but the price would put me off . Good review again Gary
Great video Gary, I'm divided really on the choice of my favourite one, I can't ask the missus because of nearly 50 years if marriage and she was born just outside Naples she would most probably throw the pizza wheel at me, but when she makes them my favourite one she makes is the anchovy with with peppers with loads of chillies, great video Gary carry on the great work. Cheers
Great review. Definitely the first pizza. It's better quality, plus the half and half thing makes it more memorable. Def take a lady out to eat at homeslice rather than Icco.
Sorry if this nerdy - but they were actually similar in price! A 12" diameter circle's area is 730 cm2, A 20" circle's area is 2010 cm2 - 275% or nearly three times more. (Circle area = π × r² - easy as Pi !) So all being equal if the cheap pizza had been 20" it would have cost £23.40 - not that far off the first one!
Sorry to message again, but this is about olives!!!!!! My wife refused to eat them for the first 8 years we were together. That is until I insisted she tried the marinated olives in a Lebanese restaurant, well since then, I am lucky to get a look in!!!!!
Haaa.. your video for Kerridges F& chips appeared on my TV.. I like the guy, so I gave it a watch..😂 It reminded me of Gino De Campos at the top of Greek Street, now on Boar lane, Leeds City center.. BLAND!!!!.... I would not want my name associated with bland food..
For me, Pizza is def a lunch or snack, I would never go out for an evening meal and have it. They do them really well here, lovely thin crust with sesame seeds. OK, the first one you tried, I would love ..... the side with Rocket, Salami, and Parmesan for me please. The second one looked like any old pizza from Tesco to me. Although I love olives. Thanks, Gary, as always for your wonderful TV titillation. It's always good 👍 ❤ Suzy
Yes nice to see pizza on your menu great review , must admit the dearest pizza I’m with you looked the real thing . The cheaper pizza still looked good ,the ingredients sold it for me as well.👏🤩🙏🏼❤️
This one had me drooling, so much so that I just ordered a pizza for my dinner tonight. I loved the first one with the really thin crust as it looked so fresh. I used to hate olives, but like you, relish them now. Thanks, Gary.
Nice to see you have overcome the dislike of olives... to attack the mushrooms next! I'm not keen on pizzas, to be honest. Anything over 8" and they become unwieldy. That said, an excellent review, as always. Thanks for that.😊
Gary, please make a video on deep dish pizzas . The thin ones are getting thinner than paper. Paper thin with a brush of sauce and cheese for 30£ is too much.
You do a good job getting all the food inside your belly Gary - even with saving some for later! On looks alone I'd choose the cheaper pizza, I like lots of cheese and a margherita is simply boring for me. BTW - I hope your getting some exercise with all the food you have been eating lately? You've certainly been giving it a go again!
You’ve tried the 20”, 12”, now I would suggest you try a pizza like no other. It’s a deep pan, about 2”/3” thick, juicy and about 8” in diameter. Japes in Dean Street, Soho. It’s terrific IMO, been there a few times now with the family. It’s not traditional, clearly. But it is quirky and delicious.
"They make loads of dough, let's give it a go!" - ha, very good ! / Nice video as always !! I would have gone for the cheaper pizza, not a huge fan so I can be fussy! But I thought the cheaper pizza looked much more appetising ! Mark.
Oookk girlfriend likes second..as for me definitely your choice..was just saying if I was an omnivore cow would be in heaven with the first pizza . keep rocking 👍🎸...and as always congrats on your ongoing followers 👏
Great video Gary. Homeslice possibly the better of the two, if 2 people eating. Icco, great value for money. Both looked really tasty. I wouldn’t have been able to manage without a partner. Many thanks for sharing with us 👍👍👍
New to the channel, love your videos! Where was the first place? I lost count of the number of S Class’s and 7 Series that drove past in the background!
If you think about it, the a 20 inches pizza is 2.77 times bigger the 12 inch so if we do 8.5x2.77= 23.5 pounds and the 20 inch was 26 pounds, so the difference was not that big, for sure i would go for the first place with some friends considering the better ingredients. Great video as always!
Well Gary, the expensive pizza was just that LOL; expensive. A lot to pay for a few grams of dough, some tomato sauce and some cheese. Mmmm. I do prefer a thin pizza, but has to be substantial enough to hold its own weight :) Essentially this is cheese on toast for £26... Salami... just a few pence for some quality slices... rocket ditto. Just not impressed by the price. Now the cheaper pizza .... this looks much better at first glance. Love the toppings and look of the crust, looks nicey spicy :) Always loved olives. So this would be my choice. Smaller, yes but cheaper and better topping! Get it down. As ever Gary, top unbiased review and entertaining!

I've had Pizza in Naples and I can't say it's ever been beaten. How they made such few ingredients taste so good is sheer alchemy.
@@barryboom717 yeah it's incredible, a fantastic dough, crushed San Marzano tomatoes, a bit of fresh mozzarella, a sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano and some fresh basil. The flavour is off the charts.
Thank you very very much for this video, Mr Gary. Such controversy around PIZZA!! They both looked good, but I thought the first pizza looked delicious. All of the fresh ingredients! Yumm! Can't wait to see what comes next. 🍻
No problem at all!
Both looked good, have to consider the price really. Hard to compare.
Personally on a night out I'd go for the second.
For a treat, the first.
The olive thing must come with age, wouldn't touch them till' I was 35, now I love them, black and green.
Cheers, great review again Gary.
Fair enough mate. Thanks for watching!
New to the channel and also new to olives this year 😊
I agree, I just can't get enough of them! Keep up the good work and content 👏
Hello Leonardo. Glad you're liking the channel!
Thank you. Sorry if it went on a bit long, I will pass your kind words on to the cameraman!
Great review, I really appreciate the compare and contrast. Thanks.
Thank you mate!
Hi Gary, i much preferred the look of the cheaper pizza. You could have got 3 of the cheaper pizza for the cost of the dearer pizza. But not just the price i would have the cheaper pizza.
Fair enough Alan. The first pizza could be shared but I do understand your point. Thanks for watching!
Lovely video chap...I would be very happy with the first restaurant...looked a great large pizza and thin which I like and you could easily share 👌👌🍕🍕and I also likes olives too 👍😋
You and me both David. Olives are an acquired taste but I love em'
First one was crazy expensive - would've been almost $60 Australian! Even though it was big it didn't have much topping.
I would pick the second one myself.
Best wishes from Tassie.
Hi Anne. Thanks for watching!
Brilliantly balanced and honest review. Well done mate
Thank you very much Juan
That's fair enough Sharon. Hopefully you will much prefer the next vlog! Onwards and upwards!
Hi Gary, great review again 👍🏽
I was making sourdough pizza 15 years ago before it was a thing.
People are used to cheddar and Red Leicester which have no place on an authentic pizza. Also the amount of sauce looked just right if as you said it was properly made and full of flavour.
Price of the first one seemed a bit steep but as you said pizza is a lot of dough 😂👍🏽
Thank you mate. If you know how to make a Neapolitan pizza then I need to come and have a try, I love it!
I went to Naples on holiday and loved the pizza so much took two cooked ones home in my suitcase.
Hey, Italian lady here, I learned to make pizza 🍕 age 3 with my nonna and yes authentic is best and Italians do it better! Ummmm 😳
Thank you Stephanie! I could definietly sleep on that pizza, it was huge!
I wouldn’t buy either. My specialty is home made Haggis pizza.Try it!
Love your comment "don't like wasting food". You don't rush through the video unlike other food vloggers. Best wishes for a great you tube following
Thank you so much 😀
I just couldnt justify the price of that first pizza, yes i know its London but for what a pizza actually is i just couldnt. Pizza number two looked about par. I do love these cheap vs expensive videos it can be a real eye opener. Thanks again.
Fair play Simon. Thanks for watching!
Great review enjoyed the editing!l Thank you
Thank you!! I really did like Homeslice :)
First pizza was way too expensive for some dough and toppings, although you said the flavours were good. (But so they should for the price). Second one was good value, and at the end of the day, a pizza isn't fine dining, it's to fill you up.
Very good point Graeme. Thanks for watching!
Sometimes the best food is the highest quality of a few basic ingredients.
Idk that looks pretty spectacular..
It was a 20" pizza. Its huge.
First pizza madness 🤣 price is way to high and 20inch is bit to much for one person
Well done gary 👍I'm not a pizza fan myself but would pay that extra for the first one great review
Thank you Craig. Neither am I weirdly enough!
Both looked great ,8.50 for a pizza in London is amazing
The amazing thing is that you can get one for £3.95!
I've been enjoying these vids lately. Nice one Gary!
Glad you like them mate! All the best.
That SECOND pizza looked really good LOVE olives
Me too!
Now them pizzas looked yummy 😋 this was a good video 📹 how's your day been
My day has been good Luke, what about you?
@@GaryEats been funny day cold wet windy weather to day but been a fantastic day to day
Hi Gary and Mr Cameraman, Great comparison video i really do like these type.
Great vlog very good review. I have to say the cheapest one looked good value. Cost versus quality I give both a 9.
Thank you Colin!
Cheers.
You're welcome Gary. How was your meal the other day?
@@GaryEats It turned out good, thanks.
Excellent.
Both looked very tasty to me Gary ..
The first one looked good and they trusted you with that pizza slicer outside whilst the second one gave you a buzzer .!
I'll defo check them out now on your recommendation next time I'm around that part of London ..
Awesome mate. Thanks for watching!
26 pounds?
Fair enough Carol. The first pizza could have easily been shared by two people!
I did think holy moly when i saw the price but that would feed 2 -3 people and it is London. Most places are expensive to eat at these days.
Great review gary I would go for the first pizza a lot dearer but looks so much better. Enjoy😋😋😋
Thank you 😋
I thought the first was very expensive until I saw the size of it and the fact that it pretty much does two people or more!
Ah so many have said the same as you Sheila regarding olives. Glad we all love them now!
Relatively new to your channel and videos Gary. I find them entertaining and informative, they appear down to earth and honest, and your variety in different venues and comparison videos are great.
Maybe your newest subscriber now 👍😅
Chris (Somerset)
That is very kind to say, Chris thank you very much and I also appreciate you watching commenting and subscribing
Well, that's interesting. I thought the first one was horribly over-priced but a 20" pizza is nearly 3 times the area of a 12" pizza (using pi * r-squared as the formula), which for me at least is very counter-intuitive. So they were both about the same price! Given that, number one wins.
The point is individually £26/28 is a lot for a pizza but it’s a lot bigger so it makes the decision more difficult.
Thanks for voting Nick!
Thanks Garry, glad you come up with a new video, Just in time to watch and enjoy while having me tea 😋👍👍👍
Thanks Malcolm 👍
Great review again. On first glance the second pizza looked better but you’re right - 2 could share the first one so price wise not a lot of difference, my only negative was I thought the margarita half looked boring - there looked to be some great choices on the menu tho. As for olives - first had them on a holiday to corfu 1980 and loved them ever since. Wouldn’t say no to either pizza have to say 👍
Thank you Carol. Much appreciated!
That's fair enough mate. Curried lamb did interest me, never had that on a pizza before!
@@GaryEatsAye, I prefer my curried lamb on naan :)
@@jfergs.3302Basically the same thing as pizza,I make pizza on naan all the time.
@@GaryEatsThere are places in NY doing curries on pizza,I haven’t had one,but I just know it will be good, really the same thing as the Turkish Lahmacun, which I love.
@@JanetBrown-px2jn They're similar, but quite different, to my mind anyway. Naan's much lighter, fluffier imho :)
Icco for me….. Really enjoy the double header reviews. Cheers and thanks again Gary.
I thought he'd go for the second one as it looked really good and much better value, but he said it tasted better and that's the main thing. I like thin and crispy pizza too. As more toppings and less dough.
Thanks for watching Rob!
Thanks 👍
Nice getting your thoughts on two very different pizza options. It's London so deffo paying a fair bit. I thought the second one looked like it had more toppings on it and a little more appetizing tbh. But probably a close call taste wise.
Thank you my friend. All the best!
If your in the mood to do another Pizza review Gary. The best in London is Vincenzos in Bushey. Vincent makes 200 pizza a day and sells out every day so you have to pre order. Perfect mix of Neopolitan and New York style.
Neopolitan and New York styles are my favourite so I will give it a go!
Hi Gary, great episode. Truthfully, the cheaper pizza is my kind of pizza. The lower price is nice too! Cheers!
Thank you! No provlem
Great video. Funnily enough, I used to go to icco pizza on Goodge Street whilst at uni in 2005. Amazing pizzas, great atmosphere and price point (even now)! The first pizza also looked good but definitely agree that the margarita should have had more cheese
Glad you've also been and liked it. Very simple stuff and done well!
Amazing pizza comparison 🍕👌🙌☺️
Good to be said about the both really.
Thank you Glenda. Glad you enjoyed it!
Ooooh as pizza lover..... and a 20" pizza I'd have loaded those..... great video again!!!
Thank you very kind
Olive, pepperoni and fresh chilli is my go to topping however the make or break factor with pizza is the base, both of these looked super thin and really well baked. Perfect!
Lovely stuff Matt. Glad to see another olive lover!
I'm a bit the same Lee. I like pizza but I can leave it also. Thanks for watching mate!
Cheers
Thank you Harold. Hahah, that made me laugh mate. That sounds delicious. Neapolitan as well I'm guessing? Thanks for watching!
Great review. Definitely the first pizza. It's better quality, plus the half and half thing makes it more memorable. Def take a lady out to eat at homeslice rather than Icco.
Thank you. I do agree with you 😊
Sorry if this nerdy - but they were actually similar in price!
A 12" diameter circle's area is 730 cm2, A 20" circle's area is 2010 cm2 - 275% or nearly three times more.
(Circle area = π × r² - easy as Pi !)
So all being equal if the cheap pizza had been 20" it would have cost £23.40 - not that far off the first one!
It'll be a lot thinner though
I thought Stephen Hawking was dead! 🤣🤣Only playing, interesting evaluation 👍
Hi Brian. This is exactly why we chose the first one as I thought that everyone would just choose Icco.
Sorry to message again, but this is about olives!!!!!! My wife refused to eat them for the first 8 years we were together. That is until I insisted she tried the marinated olives in a Lebanese restaurant, well since then, I am lucky to get a look in!!!!!
No problem Jon. Comment as much as you want. Haha, another olive hater converted. Good job mate!
Gary, For the money and taste #2 gets my vote ! All the best from the U.S.
Good choice Jerry!
Haaa.. your video for Kerridges F& chips appeared on my TV..
I like the guy, so I gave it a watch..😂
It reminded me of Gino De Campos at the top of Greek Street, now on Boar lane, Leeds City center..
BLAND!!!!....
I would not want my name associated with bland food..
Lol. Glad to see it’s been recommended to you!
Another great video, thanks!
More than welcome Duncan!
Yes nice to see pizza on your menu great review , must admit the dearest pizza I’m with you looked the real thing . The cheaper pizza still looked good ,the ingredients sold it for me as well.👏🤩🙏🏼❤️
Glad you enjoyed it Karen!
This one had me drooling, so much so that I just ordered a pizza for my dinner tonight. I loved the first one with the really thin crust as it looked so fresh. I used to hate olives, but like you, relish them now. Thanks, Gary.
That’s great how was the pizza ? 🙏
@GaryEats I'm sad to say not as good as yours.
Nice to see you have overcome the dislike of olives... to attack the mushrooms next! I'm not keen on pizzas, to be honest. Anything over 8" and they become unwieldy. That said, an excellent review, as always. Thanks for that.😊
I think mushrooms may be on step too far for me haha. You're welcome mate.
@@GaryEatsI dislike them as well. Tried to like them over the years but nope. Not for me!
Gary, please make a video on deep dish pizzas .
The thin ones are getting thinner than paper.
Paper thin with a brush of sauce and cheese for 30£ is too much.
Noted mate. I will do my best!
The second pizza is great value for your ££ where as if its flavour you want I would go for the 1st pizza great review Gary thank you once again
More than welcome Martin. I think you made the right choice!
Cheers Joe. Always exercising mate, you know me... lol. Thanks for watching!
You seem like a nice bloke Gary. I have subscribed and look forward to more videos.
Thank you James. More videos on the way!
I will give it a look Steve. Thank you mate!
Great video Gary. ICCO for Me for the taste and value! 🍕
Thanks!!
"They make loads of dough, let's give it a go!" - ha, very good ! / Nice video as always !! I would have gone for the cheaper pizza, not a huge fan so I can be fussy! But I thought the cheaper pizza looked much more appetising ! Mark.
Thanks Mark👍 I'm sorry about my terrible pun!
Both pies looked equally as good to me. Thanks for the review, Gary!
Thanks for watching!
I would recommend Pizza Paradiso in Finchley Road, not far the tube station. They do great pizzas as well as pasta dishes.
I've been recommended to go to Pizza Pappagone!
Expensive? In London? Where on Earth could you find such a place in London, Gary?
Great video as always
They barely exist James! Haha. Thanks for watching!
Oookk girlfriend likes second..as for me definitely your choice..was just saying if I was an omnivore cow would be in heaven with the first pizza . keep rocking 👍🎸...and as always congrats on your ongoing followers 👏
Good choice Ray. Thanks mate!
Great video Gary. Homeslice possibly the better of the two, if 2 people eating. Icco, great value for money. Both looked really tasty. I wouldn’t have been able to manage without a partner. Many thanks for sharing with us 👍👍👍
Absolutely agree with you Andreas. Thank you!
New to the channel, love your videos! Where was the first place? I lost count of the number of S Class’s and 7 Series that drove past in the background!
Hello Tommy. Welcome mate and hope you enjoy the videos. It was in James Street in Marylebone. Thanks for watching!
Thank you!
Thanks Steve. A nice and balanced assessment! Thanks for watching :)
