Yeah I'm hoping it's as simple as some monster truck wheels and tires, and maybe hex extensions. It should have almost enough clearance already to fit huge tires on.
Congrats on the new truck, looks great. I had considered one of these or something along those lines, but couldn't pass up the BF deal going for the Yeti XL (also my first from the brand), which I'm really enjoying so far.

Pin drive wheels!? Mine was the spawn kit but it uses hexes! I replaced the body screws with Traxxas battery posts and use pins to hold the body on. Much easier. Traxxas big bore shocks work great on this. Great buy! You’ll love it!
Mine came with pin drives and what a junk (RTR). It didn't even last one charge. Also the servo arm failed. I did order a pin-to-hex conversion kit and aluminium servo arm. I've had much more fun with the Yeti

Glad to hear that! They are new to me as well but I did a little but of research to try and spot some of the differences since they first came out.
I wasn't aware the ESC was probably made by Hobbywing. That explains why it burned out. I bought a Hobbywing to replace it and I didn't get the first run out of it so I went with LRP that I've had good experience with. I'm still using the stock radio and I'm wishing there were end point adjustments.

It will also have much lower center of gravity than most trail trucks
I glue a magnet inside the shell to stick screws and body clips to on the trail so I don't lose them.....as often.lol

Nice Video, i am about to buy that rock racer as my first rc car. i was thinking about monster truck tires, too. since my knowledge on rc cars is still super low, can i put any 2.2 monster truck tires on the spawn? i dont think there are to many monster tires out there for 2.2, may be „Pro-Line Destroyer 2.2 M3 soft All Terrain“? thanks for the help
Looking at getting one of these or the traxxas rustler 4x4 I know they are 2 totally different platforms but does the wraith have enough speed to be 'fun'
So today after having my Spawn for 2 days, I shredded the hub adapter with the axle pin, and now the rear wheels won't spin, (but the axle does). 1 half of 1 side of the T (for the pin to sit) is left on the drivers ide rear, other side shaved flat. Searching all over, with close but not exact sizes in aluminum, but im a novice. Thank you for any help

I’d rather have a wraith 1.9 instead if looking at axial. I sold this soon after getting it. Also, I got a RedCat Camo x4 and like it a lot. Also if wanting a trail crawler consider a traxxas TRX4 or a RedCat gen 8 or axial scx10.2 in any style.
