When they see one, they know they want one, but just say "oh it's only a toyota" so that they don't have to feel bad about buying a shit car. they couldn't afford this car so decided to buy a cheap BMW or Merc and brag about the badge...smh

I test drove the BMW 8 & Mercedes S class coups but bought the LC500 Sport + and two months on am very happy with my decision, there’s only 428 in the UK at the time of writing.
You made the right choice. The 8 series just isn't worth its price from a workmanship, exclusivity standpoint. It has the same interior build quality as the 3 series. The S Class Coupe is of course beautifully finished and lovely to look at. But to drive, it's a boat, and of course the electronic gremlins in an S Class and the reliability of their big engines always come into question. The LC500 is finished in a level both can't compete. My only small gripe is that the gear level assembly is the good ol' Japanese 'screw it' design. (Yes, you can unscrew the gear knob like every Japanese car) Good choice there!
I'm in the UK and this is half the price or a DB11. You could have this and an Audi SQ7 (for family use) for the price of the Aston. More reliable too.

I've owned a Mercedes Benz S Class 350 d for the past two years. I am tired of things breaking off, both interior and exterior. At the moment, the electric window button on the driver's door is busted. I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of it for a Lexus.
The M850i is faster, should handle better, has a better infotainment screen but the LC500 is the one I would go for as it has that teutonic build quality, the interior feels wayyyyyyyyy more upmarket than the M850i and the naturally aspirated sound is just one to die for. And we don't have to hazard a guess as to which will hold its value better and be a bit more special down the road.

Lexus has different engineers, designers, management and manufacturing plants. It makes no sense in saying Lexus is a Toyota anymore than saying the Bugatti is a Volkswagen. Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen and Lexus by Toyota. But who says Bugatti is just a fancy Volkswagen?
You can get the two tone colour option as well, the white and blue leather option with yellowish or tan alcantara. It's even more stunning than this interior colour which is already fabulous.

With the pocket change of spending 940k MYR in Australia ...you'd still have enough dough to buy one of these: Mercedes-Benz GLA 250, Benz C 200, MINI Cooper S, Audi A4, BMW 330e, and the list goes on... Nice vid nonetheless!

The closest competition to this car (Porsche Carerra, Aston V8 Vantage, BMW 650i, Jag F-Type, Mercedes SL65), are less equipped in their base form, a lot more expensive to own and maintain and a lot less reliable. If you'r not buying this coz it was made by the ppl who make the most reliable cars on the planet, then it's your loss ;)
