- I know It’s been a while but welcome back to another KJ Lifestyle video. This is a sequel to the previous 2020 BMW 330i G20 exhaust video. The last one was only a resonator delete but this one is now the muffler and resonator delete, and the pups are insane!!

Ayeee man awesome video as well as the older Resonator Delete only video! Your video helped me to get res deleted on my 2019 g20 330i and now getting my muffler done next week. Did you tune up your car by any chance to make those burble & pop sound nice as yours?!?
It’s my buddies car and nope it’s stock!
If it’s newer I think u could have different map with no burbles. If remapped you could decide to have them. My 19’ has them from stock

I’m considering doing something like this to my car. It sounds great on camera, but is it too loud and obnoxious in person? I really want my car louder and I definitely want the pops, but do you think a resonator and muffler delete would be too obnoxious?
If you just want the sound and not being obnoxious I would definitely just do a resonator delete
You could also do a cutout before the resonator so you can switch between loud and quiet mode
Also pretty sure 330i pops stock in sport mode once warmed up.

I have a 2019 330i is the resonator the same as the opf? And does deleting that throw a check engine light?

Quick question if I did muffler delete do I get a check engine on my car and would my warranty still cover it?
For both the muffler and resonator delete it is still showing no codes, as far as the warranty I can’t promise anything with that. Only thing we have done is took it in for maintenance and they have not said anything about it.

Are you telling me that if I take the resonator and muffler off my 330i 4 cylinder, it will sound like this ?! No downpipe; no intake ? No tune ???

I would say just resonator if it is your daily

2020 330i: Im curious as to why your exhaust sounds like mine (the little rattle in that background) I’ve put 43kmiles in and lately it’s been doing that but more noticeable. Is this only a g20 problem ?
We assumed it was the valve from the muffler
I’m pretty sure that is from the valves from the exhaust that open and close

I have a 2020 and I am also looking for a custom setup that’s cheaper then any on the market. Is this just cut some where after the cats all that way back to the tail pipes? Under normal light driving are the pops still loud or are they toned down till you get on it?

Yea definetly, this was done for under $400. We took it to the muffler shop and they were able to fabricate a pipe for the resonator and then we went back to get the muffler done. Under light driving there are still some pops but nothing crazy and only a bit of drone
Once you do a muffler delete do the valves also get removed? So would my car not be as loud in comfort mode and loud In sports mode?
Yes the valve is located on the right side muffler/tip so it would be removed

will the 530i g30 sound the same because it is the same engine as the 330i "b48"?

The valves are part of the muffler so that was removed when we did the muffler delete
How did you do the launch control? I can't find anywhere how to launch control on a base model g20.
press the break, then gas for a second or two then let go of break
I almost broke the ball bearing, you need to turn off Tract (press 10sec) DSC OFF, or put it on Sport+ press full on break, then rev it till 3000 & LET OFF💨💨💨

Hi I wanted to get the same setup done on my car. I wanted to get the exhaust done for cheaper and make it sound loud. Custom one's are too expensive. I'm running into an issue with mechanics not being able to do muffler and resonator delete because of the pipe being oval and hard to find. Did you buy a pipe online and had the mechanics install it or did the shop get it done for you. Thank you in advance!
The shop was able to fabricate one with the pipe bender!

Currently I have a 2022 330i base model and I did a muffler delete a month ago and I really like the sound but I’m looking for a better exhaust note and volume. Personally I like it a bit more roudy so Im looking to get a downpipe soon and a performance muffler.
Hey I have the same 2022 330i x drive and I'm debating whether or not to do a muffler delete on it. If u could, could u make a vid of what it sounds like since there aren't many vids of the 2022 with a muffler delete.
@@rickyzhang1122 sure thing. Also videos dont bring it justice I have a couple flybys in the night and its louder in person obviously but still I would like it a tad louder. Gimme a couple days so I can find some time to find a place.

@@daniyunis6855 hey man I just got my muffler delete done a couple of days ago. So the check engine light will not come on if u keep the exhaust valve open and close thing plugged in, however if u unplug that right exhaust valve thing so that both exhausts are always open than u will get the check engine light. Also I think warranty will cover u still as long as the problems aren't because of the muffler delete, for example if the check engine light came on and they check to find out it's because of the muffler delete than that's not covered.

The car is not fitted with resonator so you can't delete nothing because doesn't exist, from factory
