:o I've been exposed. At the end you can hear the intake sound, but the exhaust only a little, yeah. Will do a proper side by side when I get that downpipe in!
@@MrJoe1627 nah I realized. By the end it was dark so filming it wasn't possible. Instead, I opted to show what it sounds like in the cabin of the car cuz you can't hear the turbo spool when at a standstill.
Congrats on getting the car! It's a blast to drive :) And I appreciate it! I'll be trying to post eventually here, content is difficult with lack of space (hopefully changing soon).
If you’re willing to dish out some $$ the M performance exhaust isn’t terrible. Adds a little. For full effect, you can dish out $$$$ for a full catback exhaust from any number of reputable dealers. Depends on your preference. Check videos out online for sound clips!
I think I got this one off Amazon. I just fitted an M340i lip to this one. Didn't work too well and broke off eventually. Then I got a proper fitting one off of ebay! There's a lot more support for 330i sport line bumpers online now.
Yeahhhhhh it’s an M340i Ikon Motorsports lip. They don’t really make any for ours 😭 I had to do some janky taping and drilled two holes into my bumper with drywall screws. It ended up breaking and so it’s gone now. BUT I’m currently designing a front lip for the 330i G20s. Runs great love the tune and down pipe but if you go way to crazy you will get a powertrain malfunction, but every time I shut it off and then turn it back on. It goes away.
It was pretty fiddly, but I was able to use a flathead to pinch the connector to pull it off (that's where the vid gets blurry). It's a lot of patience and trial and error. Best of luck!
I got the intake installed but my CEL won’t turn off. I have confirmed that everything including the MAF is seated properly but the code “air mass to low” keeps getting thrown
I attempted to do this today and got stuck oon trying to take out the turbo inlet clip and ended up putting the stock everything back on 🥲, any tips for the next attempt will be appreciated
That clip was a pain. I'd say keep trying if you really want the install to go. It took me about 20-30 minutes to get my inlet clip out and I used pliers and a butter knife. Tbh I never even thought to check if there was a tool or anything to make it easier, so there may be something out there
Just got my 330i yesterday and I absolutely love it, cant wait to upgrade the performance on it
Good choice! Great platform for some fun
3 years later-
Still can't remove pcv valve
BRO. It literally was the most difficult thing of my life. Took a few hours xD
@@dilberadam I totally agree, I had difficulty walking the next day (I stood on tiptoe too much)

How can I get my exhaust to sound better I have same model lol it’s new and all

I’ve installed this and doesn’t make that turbo whine😢
it doesn't :( just more pshh noise
Can you link the front lip you got? I can’t find any for non sport bumper
I'm assuming you meant non m-sport. I got my sport line lip off ebay - www.ebay.com/itm/313678318068
@@KameSociety Thank you! Did you have to drill holes in your bumper or does it clip/stick on?
I had to drill holes and use 3m tape!
Where did you get your bumper lip? I been looking for one for mine.

Looking at one for my 330. Does it require a tune to install? Would like to keep it tuneless until the warranty expires.
No tune when I installed this. Worked fine, but I've heard others say they got a code. I imagine 50/50 risk on it but idk
LESS GOOO
Bro did you get a check engine light once you installed the intake?
No, but I've heard others have
What is the other box on the right of the air intake? always wondered what that was?
I think that's an intake muffler/silencer. Keeps things quiet
Where did you get the front lip i have the same car and ive been looking for a front lip forever

Are there any sound difference between armaspeed and mst. I couldnt find MST in stocks
IMO you can hear turbo noises better with MST than armaspeed!
WAIT TILL YOU PUT THE DOWNPIPE AND TUNE
FWAAAAAAAAP
I got the downpipes and tune on mine and I run e85 thing is a animal
@@slimyslots4981hey is there anywhere i can dm u for more info on ur build?

Will it fit on the 320i because they don’t have a 320i air filter listed on the website?
I wouldn't know sorry. They don't offer 320i in the US
Did you get a check engine light until today ?
I don't remember getting a CEL from this. But I've heard others have
Will this CAI throw a code
For me no, but a couple people online say they got codes from it. Seems like 80/20 chance
Anyway to just run filter and new bot with out doing inlet pipe
Don't really know for the MST. Dinan has an intake that I posted recently without the inlet pipe.
How long did it take you to install and what was the hardest part?
Took about 6 hours for me (should have been like 1 max tho). Hardest part was figuring out the plastic clips
Thanks man I just order this would you be able to show me how to remove the pcv pipe in a video
How did you remove the pcv value
It was pretty fiddly, but I was able to use a flathead to pinch the connector to pull it off (that's where the vid gets blurry). It's a lot of patience and trial and error. Best of luck!
I got the intake installed but my CEL won’t turn off. I have confirmed that everything including the MAF is seated properly but the code “air mass to low” keeps getting thrown
Can't say I'd know what's causing that :( Doesn't seem to be a common occurrence with other installs I've seen online either
What was the solution to this?
Do you also have a BOV installed?
Just the cold air intake
yeah only the intake
@@KameSociety I like the new rims man definitely looking into some for myself now 🥵
gud job
thx fam :D
is this worth it for a M340?
I'd say it is. Hearing intake sounds while driving is fun to me. This pairs really well with a catless downpipe for performance upgrades
What fuel do you run?
Usually anything rated 91+ octane as per BMW specs. I see 92 octane around the most in my area. That’s usually what I get
@@KameSociety Merci
This made my CEL come on anyone run into the same thing?
Haven’t heard this happening to many people at all. Do you know what codes you got?
@@KameSociety "air mass: too low"
