Dear Gail I’m glad you are enjoying Delia’s videos and I hope that you try some of her recipes - they always work and are delicious as you can probably tell by watching the videos! I’m afraid I don’t know who the music is by but agree with you it’s hauntingly beautiful. All the very best.
I would not say what British meat is the best in the world because it almost tasteless apart Aberdeen Angus, which taste almost like our beef very aromatic and strong tase. Smoking fish....good for preserve for keep longer but there is not character, this is simple smoking, plane, we add different kind of wood for flavor and texture for every each kind of fish or meat what make taste unic and interesting every product. I no want to be very critical but not everything English is the best in the world apart something like steak and kidney pies or puddings it is the best, I love English pies and savoury puddings which almost forgotten. I love you programs Delia Smith, I use them specially for Christmas. Thank you so much.

I thought the best meat of the World was the Argentinian one .
Your chocolate beer cake recipe is terrible. Icing came out all separated and sponge sunk.
I would recommend having another go, as I've made it several times and it's always lovely. Maybe you were just unlucky.
