Rail line to the North West & Richmond is opened to electric rail services 1991

The rail line to the North West of Sydney and Richmond had been serviced by rail motors but after 16 years since the last electrified line was opened ( ESR ) the Richmond line was finally electrified and the rail motor services were replaced by standard suburban EMUs. Keep your eye open for the NSW Railway band.
