I think this is pretty great because you’re going to see how it looks to majority of viewers since you’re watching the footage on a phone vs screens and monitors that the average person won’t be using
I used to use the Sony Xperia as a monitor for fun and then upgraded to a monitor that I got used. I feel like the price of this would be a tough sell because budget monitors are comparable, however being able to record directly to the phone is a game changer. I feel you on the 1080 60fps limit but that’s definitely solid enough for social media posts. It’s insane that we now have the ability to have a pro camera offload footage directly and then immediately edit and post it straight from the phone. What a time to be alive
I think the best thing about this is that the app can always get updated as it goes and improve. I’ve ordered mine and waiting to see how it goes. Also I’m purchasing an iPad mini to possibly use for social media work.
From the Product description: Once attached the battery then not only powers the SeeMo - it also maintains charge on the iPhone at the same time. A single NP-F 970 type battery can last up to 8 hours.
This looks pretty cool. I hate that it doesn’t charge your phone. Right now I’m using Monitor+ app but it’s via Wi-Fi so you rely on that signal and there a small bit of latency. If they get the updates, I will definitely ditch my Atomos Shinobi for this
i have also been using the monitor+ app and im fortunate that my phone and camera are compatible so i can usb-c to usb-c and avoid the latency. The ONLY thing i hate about using the phone is during the bright sunny day shoots. Thats the only time it sucks since a phone doesn't go as bright as a decent monitor.
Not gonna lie when the video started I was like no I hate using my phone for the drone so why would I use it for the camera, but the TH-cam option and the waveform perks seems dope. I think ima stick with the Mars 1 monitor though. I Totally agree about price point and mobility.
Nice, I'm gonna grab one for sure. According to Accesson, "Once attached the battery then not only powers the SeeMo - it also maintains charge on the iPhone at the same time. " Is it using Magsafe maybe? Still, I'm getting one! Thanks for the review.
Ok so mine came in the other day and I’ve been running it with my cam. The best way I can describe this unit is a cheaper, more connected, more pro version of the Atomos Zato Connect. At $179 pricepoint (plus your phone), you can shoot, stream, edit amazingly good footage, and post all from that small footprint, really damn fast! It's great in your toolbox for sure
Hey man great video. thank you for this. But I was wondering: Can you control the camera's focus with it? Also can you change aperture and shutter speed with the phone?
They NEED to make a SUNSHADE for an iPhone! Many camera companies have an app for iPhone (and they vary in how good they are in replacing a monitor) but there are no real good options for a SUNHOOD that I've found to work with a 6.7" iPhone.
The Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter allows you to output HDMI and charge the iPhone at the same time via the lighting port on the AV adapter. Testing that would have to be done is to see if the USB C on the SeeMo could be adapted with USB C to HDMI and then allow the lighting port to accept charge. Another idea would be to try something Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge Rockstar to see if if one lighting port can charge and the lighting port can be used as an input. Nice review!
My guess is that the charging and output limitations have to do with iphone thermals and compatibility with older phones. Ever charge like an iPhone 12 with a bigger charge brick while also watching TH-cam at full brightness? That junk gets hot quick and thermal throttles the brightness down.
i didnt know that this existed, but now i want it. thank you :-D btw thank you for all of your videos. they helped me a lot 🙂 keep the good work going ;-)
For short-form content this is fine but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone doing full-day shooting. Anything that doesn't have an immediately swappable battery is not viable for a professional kit, imo.
Great video. Question?? How can I go live using my IPad Pro and my IPhone to get the code? I did it once using my MacBook Pro. When I’m using my MacBook on Facebook I can recover the code going through the steps. So how can I receive the code using my IPhone to copy and paste into the iPad that’s attached to the camera?
Is this also a recorder? I ask because I have a a7s and it doesn’t record 4K natively. The only recorder for it is 500; I don’t mind investing in myself but dang 🤦🏾♂️
I saw they have an Android version too that might be the move to get an old Samsung that has an SD card slot so you aren't limit by your phones storage ✊🏿
U are right i got a Samsung galaxy 20 ultra for Amazon use an i got all my storage on it and i have me a Samsung galaxy 10 for storage to and i just nearby share my images to my s21 Samsung galaxy
Hey bro what's the best point and shoot to keep for quick videos neva miss the shot to keep on me any help ?? G7x mark 2?? Sony zv1?? Sony rx mark 4 or 6. ??? Help. Help would be appreciated???
Hi there and thx for the share. I was wondering if you could tell me something, once I plug this into my iPad can I still record on the source camera? I need to record in 4K so only fancy this as a monitor. Thanks for your time.
Can you output the data from your camera screen (ie: shutter speed, autofocus tracking boxes, etc) to be recorded on the phone while taking pictures/filming?
There are already ways of doing this without a 170£ device. Adding that extra weight on my gear is a no for me. I have a Sony A7 iii which works perfectly with my phone with no lag. Have spare phones lying around which I use to money my phone when I shoot for FREE. I guess this would work more for people who have different camera or don’t have that option built into their camera.
I will argue that monitor is better than Accsoon. The concept is it’s smaller device but it takes the same space a monitor. Still have to carry NPF battery, two wires instead of one and connect to the phone. If it has and internal battery and better build the yes but may be the next version
its dope but man, at this point i carry a few different phones because everything wants to use the phone. i always have 3 phones on me. one for the insta360 1 inch, because the proxy mode on it is iffy, if i need to use the phone or get calls. the new ronin connects to your phone also. the a7s3 connects to your phone. the DJI drones...... guess what connect to your phone. so i run around with 3 phones. cause it kills battery life especially if you shooting from multiple devices all at the same time. imma stick to monitors until they make this work for android.
If you could use the processing power of apple silicon through your camera there’s almost no reason that this device couldn’t eventually record proresraw internally to the phones hard drive given the write speed of usb c. Exciting to think about with some further development.
I copped one just to be able to record clips and save to phone right away. I just wish it would let you have the option to record it to phone with the lut
Is it compatible with the iPhone 6s Plus? Note: I.m looking for a solution to make my iphone 6s plus a field monitor for my iphone 15 Max Pro, is that possible? is there a wire I need?
Does it have a recording limit? Trying to get this for my lumix g9 to work around that 30 min recording limit but on a budget. 1080 p isn’t an issue for me, would this be a good option?
Bro!!! I LITERALLY have a Portkeys PT5 II in my Amazon cart right now. This video came right on time, even though I’m late on seeing.. I’m copping one of these. **edit** so you have a referral or promo code?
I don't like use a iPhone or iPad without the enough nits to monitoring a footages, I rather a monitor like feelword Occe or small HD with 2200 or 3000 nits vs 1000 nits from iPhone. I pass with that.
There's no way my Samsung Z Fold 4 would fit on top of one of my Canon DSLR's without accidental results. Although it has great image stabilization for recording video. I'll stick with my Feelworld f6 plus monitor for now. Great product though for the price.
Great idea, too bad the battery on the unit doesn’t charge your phone.. how long can your phone last before it dies… until they sort this out, ain’t worth it
So if you already have the atoms ninja, you don't need this? I would say the atomos provides much more especially with the ability to output 4k. However this makes for a lighter setup and go live, but the live video isn't that good so why get it ? I feel the live is being used a big selling point. If you didn't have the live feature , I would just get the atomos. better investment when this is 179
the max write speed on iphones is 200mbps for lightning ports so it will never be able to transfer 600mbps 4k60 10 bit video with that doohicky. buy an atomos. was worth it for me
Technically it’s recording to your phone, so I guess until that runs outta storage or dies. Another thing to keep in mind too is that the max output is only 1080P 60fps, so the quality won’t be as good as the R6
I own a Panasonic Camcorder (HC-VXF990) anyone know of an android Apps that will display what my camera sees, like a monitor with HDMI cable? Thankyou!
Man filmmaking tech is getting wild!
Man brah good lookn out! N U Right 💯
I think this is pretty great because you’re going to see how it looks to majority of viewers since you’re watching the footage on a phone vs screens and monitors that the average person won’t be using
Aku suka melihat keindahan alam nya bagus
Can this ítem work on a G7?
Love this! Does it allow streaming to IG or just TH-cam?
Just got the Pro version (my camera is SDI), hype to try it out on my URSA G2.

From the Product description: Once attached the battery then not only powers the SeeMo - it also maintains charge on the iPhone at the same time. A single NP-F 970 type battery can last up to 8 hours.
SeeMo can't the charge the iPhone or iPad with Lightning port now. It can only charge the iPad which have USB-C port. Sorry for the wrong description.
The Test footage at 6:04 was out of focus, and very under exposed. What happened? Was it youtube compression?
This looks pretty cool. I hate that it doesn’t charge your phone. Right now I’m using Monitor+ app but it’s via Wi-Fi so you rely on that signal and there a small bit of latency. If they get the updates, I will definitely ditch my Atomos Shinobi for this

Love your work bro keep it up..
Does it bypass the 30min record limit?
I had the inclination to use a spare iPhone I have, glad to know you executed and brought it to life
Hey man great video. thank you for this. But I was wondering: Can you control the camera's focus with it? Also can you change aperture and shutter speed with the phone?

Been wanting to get this, so happy you done a review, can’t wait to check it out
It's a pretty dope accessory to have, the fact that the screen on iPhones already looks good makes this great.
Wow bagus tapi sayangnya mahal, jadi pingin untuk mempunyai holder kamera biar hasil gambarnya gak goyang2

Yes! I watch TH-cam at work while sometimes charging my iPhone 11 Pro Max and it gets hot.
Thanks for everything over the years. You made me a film beast
i didnt know that this existed, but now i want it. thank you :-D
btw thank you for all of your videos. they helped me a lot 🙂
keep the good work going ;-)
The social media aspect if this is going to be such a game changer!

Can it help bypass the 30 min record limit on the R6?
not a bad concept except it's more expensive than an actual monitor
Hey bro on your softbox do you use the thick white or the thin one?
I feel everything you said, but my biggest gripe is it's only for apple products. What's up with that?
There is an android version
@@doughelsby886 Thanks!
Man you could shoot on the Panasonic S5ii with a real time lut baked in and save it straight to your iPhone.. nice
How's the latency?
This is beast 🔥

Was just about to ask if it's compatible with Android💪🏿
Was gonna ignore this vid completely then saw Android comments 👊
U are right i got a Samsung galaxy 20 ultra for Amazon use an i got all my storage on it and i have me a Samsung galaxy 10 for storage to and i just nearby share my images to my s21 Samsung galaxy
I’m rigging the M1 to my 6k pro now. I’ll drop a video in a week
I just searched it, What's the android version the nano?
Wonder if it will stream and record simultaneously?
Hey bro what's the best point and shoot to keep for quick videos neva miss the shot to keep on me any help ?? G7x mark 2?? Sony zv1?? Sony rx mark 4 or 6. ??? Help. Help would be appreciated???
Ideal for anyone who makes travel video content!
THIS is what I was thinking! Keep the kit as small as possible.
Why would you say that? Because im thinking about getting it.
Amazing review! Does it have an anamorphic de-squeeze preview too?
This would be really cool for reels on the go
Yeah the social media aspect of it is an added benefit!
Hi there and thx for the share. I was wondering if you could tell me something, once I plug this into my iPad can I still record on the source camera? I need to record in 4K so only fancy this as a monitor. Thanks for your time.
yes - the hdmi out dosn't interfere with recording on the camera
@@jenspraest Thanks
Can you output the data from your camera screen (ie: shutter speed, autofocus tracking boxes, etc) to be recorded on the phone while taking pictures/filming?
Yeah you can, you can see everything your camera screen sees.

if you have a mic and that, where does it go?'
How big are the files when recording directly to the phone?
What was the cost of the battery?
Here in Nigeria, the Accsoon costs exactly the same as a feelworld f6 monitor.
I copped one just to be able to record clips and save to phone right away. I just wish it would let you have the option to record it to phone with the lut
so it only records the log image? that sucks
Hi can you livestream and record to your phone at the same time using this? Or is it one or the other?
Is it compatible with the iPhone 6s Plus? Note: I.m looking for a solution to make my iphone 6s plus a field monitor for my iphone 15 Max Pro, is that possible? is there a wire I need?
Does anyone know if this thing would work with the pixel or any android phone or is it iphone only?
Can you record to a solid state at all?
That Is Really Dope And I Need Monitoring For My Sony A7III

Does it have a recording limit? Trying to get this for my lumix g9 to work around that 30 min recording limit but on a budget. 1080 p isn’t an issue for me, would this be a good option?
Is it possible to mount it on a gimbal?
Yeah, the bottom of the system has a 1/4 thread.
when you record on to the unit, does it just record a log image or does it record the log image with the lut applied?
Would you say you take this over the new Portkeys Pt6?
Can you use it to transmit the image to another ipad for a client monitor?
Can this be used for Android as well or jus iPhone 🤔?
Is the lut applied when saved to the phone?
Can this desqueeze anamorphic glass?
Do you think this is better than the raven eye?
Bro!!! I LITERALLY have a Portkeys PT5 II in my Amazon cart right now. This video came right on time, even though I’m late on seeing.. I’m copping one of these.
**edit** so you have a referral or promo code?
For everyone saying that there is an android version, what is this android version called?
but when using phone for play back or things this is a pain , plus a monitor is same price maybe if this was 75$ it would sell more

What iPhone app is that
Bro, you always dropping gems. Thanks for the game 💪🏽
I use a note 20 ultra as my primary camera..can this device work and use my s9 as a monitor?
What happens when you phone rings, dose it interfere with the recording feature?
Turn off the cellular on your phone or Do not disturb
Can you vlog with it?
How to use it with a gimbal. The smartphone holder does not allow landscape.
Great job. Great product.
