Thanks for the video. I currently have a 6mm stone, and have now for about 2.5 months. I first got symptoms back on Sept 8th (today is Nov 25th). The horrible side pains lasted 5 days, I finally went to a clinic, got some pain medicine and muscle relaxers, and had a ct scan done, which is how we found out it was 6mm. I cannot tell where the stone is now, if its still in the ureter, or has made it into my bladder. I dont get the side pains since the beginning, now I just get the bladder pressure and burning sensation in my urethra, constantly feeling like I have to pee, and then trouble peeing due to various levels of obstruction from the stone. Im ready for it to be done

Also... obstruction of collective tubule causes colicative pain?
Fluids in colicative pain? this sounds horror... if the stone is too big you will just worsen the pain...

I'm eating a pound of calcium and phosphate every month, with 50k daily vit d to back it up.

The active reabsorbtion of calcium results in 99% recycling. So if there is any chance of calciuria and crystallization in the collection tubule, it's probably because of hyperparathyroid drugs that lower pth and calcium reabsorption, or as we all know, diuretics.
As a side note, if supplementing with d calc phosphorus, you also want to add msm quite massively. Bone also is made of collagen, and sulfur is needed there. My physiology tells me exactly how much msm I need (armpit start smelling immediately when low on sulfur, and stops also immediately when sufficient), and since the calcium, I've had to take two teaspoons a day

As for me, I seem to have none of the risk factors other than being a 58 yo Caucasian male who has been eating a vegan diet for the past 9 months or so. I was just diagnosed with a < 1 mm kidney stone that's still in my kidney. But it hurts! I've been taking Flomax to dilate the structures involved, but after 4 days it still seems like it hasn't moved. I'm hoping it eventually starts to travel down the ureter and won't hurt much when it does (since it's so small). But the longer it stays put the more I worry about it growing in size. In the meantime, I'm still taking the Flomax, and also increasing my citric acid intake (lemon juice and TRUE Lemon powder), and trying to cut down on high oxalate greens and nuts, primarily spinach and almonds. Also stopped my 500 mg vitamin C supplement, and am drinking water like crazy! Reading all about oxalates in the diet, it's difficult to determine if they really are a significant problem or not. Some people think almost all plants are virtually poisonous because of them!

Very good video explanation on kidney stones. I had a small kidney stone removed through my urinary tract other day. Procedure was quite uncomfortable but it only took about 20 minutes. The last 6 months I had to go to emergency 3X in 6 months to have a catheter put in as my urine bladder was completely full and I could not urinate. What happens at this point is that pressure from the urine bladder against the bowels forces a person to have multiple bowel movements in very a short time (which also may cause the prostate to enlarge as well). I'm pretty happy with my visit to Urology and having a endoscope check my urinary passage and have the small kidney stone removed as I never ever imagine that a small kidney stone could cause such a serious urinary problem.
Doctor prescribed Warstone to me...I ordered it frm Amazon...my 17mm stone was dissolved in 2 months treatment..people said only surgery is the solution but Warstone saved me..
@@raghuveerkumarmanjhi5816 You're lucky! The kidney stones I had worked their way down and blocked off my urinary tract. I had to go to emergency 3X and had a catheter each time installed to relieve all the pressure the urinary bladder was causing as I had over 1 liter of urine in my bladder each time I went to emergency. That was the worst experience ever. I felt like I was going to pass out each time from having so much urine in my bladder. I had to wear the catheter 2 weeks each time and on top of that many doctors wouldn't even remove the catheter because they said they weren't comfortable with the job..... what a major headache that was....!

@@drphill7561 Only one. The doctor never showed me but it was painful as heck when the doctor pulled out the stone. I had blood in my urine for a day or so and urinating was pretty painful for at least 4~5 days. The key is to drink lots of water to keep the kidneys well flushed. I don't have any problems now and that is 6 months after I had the kidney stone removed. I keep my salt intake low as well and keep my diet limited to whole wheat flour, blended oatmeal with a banana for breakfast, and an easily digestible protein for supper with some kind of high fiber vegetable.
I can attest that having that kidney stone removed is like pulling a piece of glass through a person's penis. Not at all pleasant.
What happened is the stone got lodged in the urinary tract and I couldn't pee whatsoever. I felt like I was going to explode or pass out from not being able to pee. The pressure from the bladder needs to expand thus it puts a lot pressure on the bowels and forces one to make a bowel movement every 30 minutes. In turn that causes pressure on the prostate and causes the prostate to enlarge. In other words, one problem leads to another and and another and so on...
