You know I can’t resist the Chopin videos. Don’t get me wrong, I will study your other composer videos too, but thank you for this! Also, don’t hesitate to lecture high level concepts.. you opened my eyes to a lot of new ideas. Now I will watch this with full attention.
Great great lessons. Thank you. I enjoy your liveliness and deep engagement. It makes me want to play this piece. I never played it. Just now I practicing the Ocean etude op. 24-12 and your suggestion apply there as well. I will turn to this Scherzo later as well. Thank you.
There is a comparison to the liberties of counting that I always like to think about. Disney animators, before taking liberties to draw extremely cartoonish exaggerated proportions, were masters of anatomical realism.
Thank you much...! I wish I could understand chinese, you have so many others videos on your channel. Anyway, thank you for that new serie on Chopin. I played many years ago that scherzo and it was interesting to watch your lecture. Is op. 66 posthume on his way too ? 😊 Best regards from Belgium.
"Some people say I lecture/teach to much"?!?!? Ummm...Come again?!?! What buffoon is making this idiotic statement!?!? That is what Dr. Wang does.....hello McFly?!?!? If you miraculously find yourself watching his videos then you must A) be learning piano/theory and looking for ways to improve your playing more efficiently or B) you are pondering in learning to play piano and are a total beginner...Either way, who wouldn't want such valuable information and tips for free via Dr. Wangs TH-cam videos where he, you guessed it, explains and teaches you how to improve on particular pieces as well as general practicing advice and improving technique!!! Anyhow, Thanks Dr. Wang for all the help and advice you FREELY give all us wannabe Martha Argerichs, Evgeny Kissins, and Yuja Wangs!!!
