1:07 the guy in the back left is contemplating his life
Contemplating his choices! Lol!
One pianist to rule them all.
In my opinion, he gives best interpretation of this from what Ive heard
The way he transitioned at 6:19 is fantastic! Incredible musicality throughout!
Such clarity! So many rush through that part and I’m always crestfallen when they do, but the true masters know better
1:15 the way he plays these scales is so magical
He has the most special, beautiful touch, so light, tender and yet strong when necessary.
We are so lucky and blessed to have him playing for us......he works so hard......God bless him always and those he loves well
Classical music was written for Kissin... We were all just waiting for him to be born.. He is pure heaven to listen to. A true gift of G-d
YES, HE EVEN OUTPLAYS RACHMANINOFF WHO IS THE ONLY GREAT PIANO COMPOSER TO BE RECORDED, HE PROBABLY OUTPLAYS ALL THE GREAT COMPOSERS EXCEPT FOR LIZST, CHOPIN, AND ALKAN !!!
A gift from Gmajor d Minor indeed
@@Jack-ji2kz OH, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT, WILL HAVE TO SEE IF I CAN FIND HIM PLAYING ON HERE !!! THANKS !!!
@@Permaclok HA!! Good one!
I can feel that every single note has their own feeling
Perfect. Just the way Chopin would have wanted it played.
Tonight, I saw him play this same scherzo at Carnegie Hall for the Ukraine benefit concert. I leapt out of my seat at the end - couldn't help myself. (Then, for the final piece, he and Richard Gere combined their voices with all the singers that had just performed. It was phenomenal.)
Yes indeed 🎵❤He is miracle and great🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I love to watch his face.....his whole souls engaged in the composition
Abosulety amazing. That leaves you Breathless. I think one of the best living pianist....i love him...He touch the keys with the heart, not only hands or technique here...He is a kind of allien, his performance is very touching..He makes you cry...want it or not...Thank Evgeny !
Kissin is a GENIUS, no doubt. I can watch and listen to this performance a thousand times and still enjoy it every single time
Liron Cohen You would be surprised. I have to analyze this song for a school project and this is like my DaHMn 90th time watching this. I swear that I hear this shit in my sleep!
Yuvraj Singh best school project eva
So does Zimerman.
Mejor que Lang Lang
Agreed
That man's a legend
I agree👍

I feel like Kissin is a pianist who proves that you can be strong, fast and elegant at the same time. Of course you need to be good. Really good. And just because you want to create sound with volume doesn't mean you can just hit the keyboard, as anyone who has ever played a piano for a moderate time will tell you. He's obviously a master and transferring his energy to the keyboard without hitting it is a piece of piss for him. It's still a joy to see music and instrumentalism being executed and expressed on this level. Especially by a mediocre pianist like myself. Oh, and he is totally a headbanger, love it. Go watch his Chopin Etude Op 25 No 11 performance (the one where he wears the cream coloured jacket). He enjoys his pulses.
‘Piss’?? Is that a typing error? Or are you being vulgar and crude?
@@margaretlavender4418 Vulgar and crude? I suppose i am, if you consider urine to be such things. Whatever sense of formality and class a video of a great musical performance offers isn't really damaged by a single phrase that's a bit crude, not in my mind anyway. Lets not perpetuate the image that music like this should be enjoyed with fine clothing, wine and by people with high class vocabulary.

@@Zhinarkos I like your style dude
4:50 is like a different instrument! Kissin is in full control over the piano! He can do anything he likes with the piano!
Amazing! Sheer perfection.
This an Ashkenazi are the absolute best I've heard
8:36-8:47
Especially I like this part by Kissin's tempo rubato.🎵
It's better than any other pianist❗️
Yes indeed🎵He is miracle🎵🎶💐❤️❤️❤️
This man is an embodiment of Chopin himself! Amazing 👏💯
Speechless ! What an amazing pianist!!!!!, it's a pure joy to hear him playing.
I nearly cried by his performance! This piece is so beautiful!!
moves me to tears
My most favorite recording!
I heard his live scherzo no2 tonight. He sure can touch heart by only one note. 5:09
The orchestra is really enjoying itself watching Kissin haha
His playing always moves me!
God bless Kissin and Chopin 🙌
He plays with so much clarity! I love how clear it is. Wish I could play like him.
His playing is perfection!
U took the words right out of my mouth. The way he attacks the notes. Screams perfectionist.
I play piano and I wonder how much practice it takes to play something this long without one mistake. When he was 12, he recorded Chopin concertos 1 and 2 with no mistakes!
woah dude...kissin's playing is perfection...its unparalleled!
no mistakes...and his style is short and snappy on the mini running passages...dunno which bar ill have to check but...perfectooo!
I could never tell you a time, but there are certain exercises one can do in practice to reinforce playing "all the right notes."
You are a great pianist Kissing!! Wow!!!! Thank you!!!😮
My favourite living pianist!
Who's your favourite dead pianist!
Paul Barton interpritation not worse
@@chezbe you're joking. Not remotely in the same league as Kissin's
@1:11 Coffee Shop @3:31 No Questions
Do you realize that your gonna have to edit this comment when kissin dies 😳
Me too. Kissin 🤫
4:10 usually the best part of this masterpiece... this time it's incredible! What a talented pianist!
True, I love that part so much, it's so joyful and happy and has this kinda childish character to it
God I agree so much
For me, that's the real scherzo section.
I agree. Although many pianists such as Kissin tend to slow down at that part, I prefer Argerich who just goes into it with the energy. Still an amazing performance by Kissin though.
I like 1:00 more
What a play! A truly great play. I just came from the same piece by Lang lang so I can appreciate all the more how well Kisssin played out this piece.
This is the best performance of this piece what I have heard (having played it myself)
Kissing is probably the number one pianist today. His touch is amazing.
I love his untypical technique folding his fingers he doesn't use.
However, Debargue will be the new Horowitz in 5 years, no doubt.
Except Volodos is probably the greatest of all time with all due respect.
Kissing 😂
Lmao kissing shd be kissin😂😂
Valentina?
Chopin gave us so many small gifts in this composition!
Other pianists REALLY must watch Kissin. His performances are always lush full of energy and shimmering brilliance. Simply heavenly articulation
Sss
The coda was executed perfectly
This is great!!! Thank you, Kissin....!!!
I agree👍He is miracle‼️
Una completa bestia al piano. Expresión, técnica inmejorable y calidad sonora . Lo tiene todo
Genial Maestro Evgeny Kissin. Congratulations !
He’s so sweet and kind. Great man
Não me canso jamais te ouvir esses gênios!!!
As per usual, the always amazing Evgeny Kissin. To me, the greatest pianist in the world who consistently creates the most beautiful sounds. He is as close to perfection as is possible for a mere mortal.
How much I agree with you !!
He and Valentina Lisitsa are the best, actually
When it comes to Chopin Zimerman is a much better player and interpreter.
@@mateuszloniewski I love Zimermans interpretation of the g-minor ballade
@@rogeriotheodorodesouzafilh3601 Lisitsa overrated pianist, listen to Paul Bartons interpritation
I also have played this piece and my teacher ( Almudena Cano from Spain ) worked on it with me for six months painstakingly. She had small hands but she managed to play the left hand in the beautiful "Cantabile"-part smoothly and seemingly without any effort. When the sun was shining outside and when everyone was going to the beach and enjoying the sun and the sea, I was studying on this work of F Chopin in the home of my parents on a Yamaha Conservatory grand piano .
I thought only Germans are driven to such extremes. Did you regret the hard work? Was it worth while?
@@manfriede3511 It was my upbringing that had done it. My father was a pharmacist and violin player who was acquainted with Herman Krebbers and Theo Olof ( two famous Dutch violinists ) personally and also played the violin with orchestra. My mother played in the Indonesian badminton competition, and Indonesia concerning badminton still belongs to the leading top in the world. It was worth while to study that hard on the piano because doing good hard work always pays off. I now have the richess of the world of music in my heart and for that reason I am spiritually stronger in the sense that I can take more of life's adversities because good music can pull me out of my problems and miseries.
The thing with this schezro is that when you hear for the first time you kind off get stuck on to it.
This was the first recording i ever heard and now no other can satisfy me unless it's kissin
Shwamova plays it nicely
I'm not even exaggerating, I've listened to it every day for the last week, 3 times on some days, and its still unbelievable
I think you would like Argerich's version :)
That's so true - the first version I ever owned on record was Vasary's 1960's performance on DGG vinyl - for me, nothing else has ever come close, although logically I realise that there are dozens of equally good versions out there. Aren't human beings strange?
It's the Zimerman one for me!
the best performance..

This man must really likes this piece
Thank you Kissin... 👍
A true musician!
What would Chopin think about this performance?. I dream about an hypotetical meeting of Kissin and Chopin, and....
The guys from the orchestra: What am I doing with my life? This one guy can play 100 times more complex pieces. I'm like one key on his keyboard and no one gives a shit about me 😁
This piece is one of my favourite piano works, and this is the best interpretation I've come across so far!
Bravo brilliance music super
