Hello, Everyone doing well? I recently performed Chopin's complete Scherzi in two different countries.
Some people in the audience recognized TRAUM on the stage. 😉Many still didn't recognize me, but anyway, I believe everyone had a great time with Chopin.
It was a very precious time for me, too. Thank you to everyone who came to the concert.
I dream of the day when I can meet all of you on stage as TRAUM. Maybe I should practice my Traum signature, should I? :))

OGs know this is something traum has played before, but there's something different about this performance. Its lighter, more elegant, less forced. Overall a nice improvement from the other performance. Awesome work Traum!

@@dunkleosteus430yea, there's a bunch of equally impressive composers and pianists but Chopin has a feel in his dynamics that projects mood, a subtlety and refinement to the process. He transcends raw technique, of which none of the greats lack, and moves into more subjective value.
For me it's Chopin and that's subjectively attached to my life and experiences. People always say so and so is the best or the greatest etc and none of them are wrong once a certain threshold of technical prowess is achieved.
But Chopin is the best.

Chopin will always be my favourite composer. He wrote one of best pieces in world. He just died in his 39. I cant stop thinking what else he could write if he lived more. Rest in peace Chopin, you will never be forgotten.

Haven't been listening to any classical music at all recently so after yet another long day at work it turns out I needed this more than I expected to.
At some point I found myself closing my eyes and just listening to the music in a way that I hadn't done in a long time.
There is something very unique about classical music that, if well performed, let's you sink into it deeply until it completely envelopes you, yet without dulling your mind like some other types of music tend to do, but instead seemingly sharpening it in a way that makes you very aware of and let's you truly experience the music's beauty.

And, unlike a lot of the most beautiful music (a lot of which Chopin also wrote), it's uplifting, playful, loving, and not soul-crushingly sad. Most of all, he played my favorite piece, and I have nothing but respect for him for playing a really difficult piece so perfectly, brilliantly, cleanly and easily. I prefer this interpretation, a strong start with a ligher melodic section over the older one, but still they are both good! And Welcome back Traum!! 🎉🎉

Incredible work! Your talent really cannot be put into words! This one is a lot more polished and elegant and a great deal clearer!
I do, however, prefer the old one, at least for now. I'm aware that this is probably because it's the first interpretation of the piece I listened to and so it's etched into my mind that it should sound 'that way'. I'll give both another listen and decide after that.
Both are amazing though and I aspire to have a tenth of your skill!

My favorite piano piece, the entire segment at 3:11 has a legendary climax that I’ll never forget.
Traum I remember subscribing when you had around 300 subs after a community post introducing you by flaming hot piano (if anyone remembers him). I have the same feeling I imagine one would have if they bought bitcoin when it wasn’t as popular, and saw it grow so much. Keep up the awesome work Traum, you’re a beast.

0:32 lovely "marcato" here and generally great attention to the left hand. It gives the right momentum to the piece: solemn and elegant but never forced. Chopin's left hand is often overlooked but to me it's what makes the difference between a good and a great performance.
I had always thought the same about Maestro's left hand playing.
This time feels like you played it way more professionally Traum. You are getting a way better pianist with time. Bravo!!❤🎶
