People have gotten wise to the fact that old records (&cds) are worth some $$ to collectors, so they sell them online, rather than donating them. It seems that it started happening pre- pandemic, when the "vinyl revival" started happening.
My Late wife loved Jim Croce! When i hear him it reminds me of her listening to his songs. The thrift stores around here either treat records horribly or want way to much..Sometimes you find a diamond in the rough, but not a lot.
Me too. I got excited yesterday because I found a Metallica lp in the dollar bin. Yeah, there wasn’t much left of the record. I still got it for the jacket though!

Jim Crow-Chee, not croc or croak lol
Thank you! It’s not my type of music so I’ve never been schooled on proper pronunciation. Much appreciated!
@@kappandrew1 Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Time in a Bottle. It's that guy.
Hi I still manage to get good cds from thrift stores. Why do you buy something you don't like ?.
To sell it… I try to snag good stuff that sells on eBay then use the profit to buy more!!! Plus it makes for a fun “hunt”.
