Hi Adam, quick tip, if you use your toaster under your ridge monkey, you can cook food at a lower, more even temperature so it doesn't burn on the bottom, y'know y'know 😉

Such an incredible history arran, from being a religious centre point for Irish saints, being part of the Viking kingdom of Norway for many years to then being where our great king Robert the Bruce sought refuge. A beautiful island with so many stories.
yeh fantastic there was alot about it on boards and such around the castle, i recorded quite a bit of it but cut it out as the video would have been even longer, they were saying broderick was an old norse word for wide bay :), so yeh great history there, i visit THE CAVE of bruce in a later episode :)

just got back last night, still drained from travelling but WOW got some proper memories from this one, hard to explain but this one took me to places physically and emotionally ive not been to before on a trip, it WAS a great test for hopefully alot bigger and further a field trips :) .... fingers crossed

thanks, just got back last night and kind of feels like the END of season 2, possibly the last big trip to be done in the galaxy and now onto the kia, chuffin stoked m8, we move on and push forward, lets hope it all falls into place and we can be in europe before the end of the year

If you put two strips of duck tape on your window vertically, you can gradually pull the window down enough to get your hand in to open the door . So find a space on outside of the car to put duck tape for emergency

Hi we have used both our National Trust and English Heritage membership in Scotland with no problem. I believe you may be able to use in Wales as well. Loving the content always brightens up the day.
Absolutely amazing that island with its lovely little waterfall, the mountains in the distance it is totally breathtaking, but we do have one thing in common We both love our cheese Enjoy the rest of your journey, you’re living the dream!!

Hey Adam. Most of west coast you will find palm trees, as the Clyde used to be a victoriana haven and that's why so many palm trees, here on bute, up in Oban on arran... They proper confuse u especially with snow on ground.

Arran is on my list of "go to's", would of been but that global pandemic hit. It looks like the ferry prices haven't changed though, approx £40 return for car and driver. Looks like you're having a great time there, enjoy and safe travels, thank you, Richy 😀👍

Aww you need to get yourself over to the Isle of Man and try out the new boat ( if it sails haha )..You can do some wonderful hikes around here and try out a local kipper bap :) and our own Manx cheese ( very good price ) Id send some in the post but not sure it be so fresh by time you pick it up haha

I car-camped for 2 nights directly opposite the entrance to that Po-oc without any issue - handy if you can't find somewhere pretty (or you've got an early/late ferry like I had).
With your Ecoflow - have you tried setting the car charging rate lower in the app? I've set mine down to the minimum to stop the plug getting so hot. I found that updates can set it back to max too - so it's worth checking from time to time, Car sockets are a bit crap for high current. Make sure the plug is really well seated too.

Yeah, car input can be 4A/6A/8A - just limits the max amps that the ecoflow will try to pull from the car. Lower numbers mean less strain on the car system. However if you're trying to charge whilst powering something (fridge?) you'll obviously need to make sure that the input power is more than the output, otherwise it won't charge!
Enjoyable video you know. Can I ask do you have breakdown cover for the car just curious as it would be a slight worry without it being quite far away from home.

Yes very true it becomes useless and sometimes on these mountain roads there is no sign of life and the next house could be miles away and you also have the risk of a knocking a door in these remote areas and being faced with leather face and end up in the dungeon nightmare.

I was going to do this but the weather looks dismal for the next weeks, how long do you stay in the car? or whats your longest stint?/ I did a month in July it was terrible, rain does not bother me when wild camping in the mountains but a month of it keeping everything dry in a car with no 4g most the time gets tough
yeh im with you can be hard prolonged rain when car camping had nearly a week of it on this trip, longest i did was just over 3 weeks i think

Teach your kids to look after the planet . Don’t expect the schools to do it , they just produce more worker ants. Teach them life skills making sure their hands on . Best way to learn is to do stuff hands on . Teach them about all the creatures in their environment and they will be on the right road to succeed in life .
