I bought these keycaps as a set from Banggood. They're labeled as being produced by a company called 'Feker' and the title says they're DSA profile. I suspected them to actually be the keycaps in this video and when I checked the underside of the keycaps it said 'VSA' so they're obviously the same. What's interesting is that I do actually have those accent keys you spoke about, so I guess they did end up mass-producing those.
Not a fan of recent low-profile trend, but the keycaps are a big highlight here. Wish to see manufacturers focus more on keycaps quality and various profiles! Great video! :)

Yeah, I don't see the need to review the Frozen LLama other than to get views. Short version is - it looks great, wish the keys were backlit, shame they didn't include a custom-colored cable as well.
So basically they combined the Race with the Poker 60%... I have a Pok3r in Browns, it was my first keyboard in a smaller form factor than 80%, and I really don't like it. I feel like the sweet spot is the 65% VA68M or Leopold FC660M. Personally I think that TKL is the best layout, still get the nav keys, and I have a keypad that I keep off to the side for when I need to enter numbers.

while I enjoy Badseed's reviews, I definitely wouldn't take his (or BT's or Randomfrankp's) headphone reviews for buying guides. I recommend checking out Z Reviews. he's a major audiophile and his opinions are very very reliable. he's the most knowledgeable TH-cam Headphone reviewer that I know of. hope he helps you out
@@numairsalmalin3552 every headphone reviewer has different favourite tonality, and so is Z. I would check several reviewers for a valid judgement. Metal571 is another good reviewer.
@@Rasyad95 yes definitely more than just Z. my point might've been lost by my wording, I had just meant to put out the message that Farooq should look towards people more qualified to talk about audio products for audio reviews. while I enjoy Badseed's (and BT, etc. etc.) reviews and videos, I would definitely not use his opinions on keyboards for purchasing guides. not in any way shape or form. they might be good for the average viewer who doesn't know much, but once you get into the rabbit hole of the mechanical keyboard community you realize how many better options there are and much better reviews from people who specialize in that content (TaehaTypes, Chryosran22, TaeKeyboards). tldr I'm urging him to search for something above average and look into specialized content for what he wants to be assured of the quality he is getting

Surprised you gave it such a positive review. Even though it's unique, there seems to be several glaring weaknesses. Whether it's the lack of switches or the underwhelming stabilizers, I'm quite disappointed from this newer version.

Looks way better than the CoolerMaster 60% with low-profile switches. I also feel that designers should not be able to lock down color ways. Just because Tomb3ry came up with Carbon, should not mean that no one else can use orange and black. Unique novelties should be protected by copyright, but in Carbon's case, well use Public Domain scientific symbols, and yeah those should be able to be copied.
These is a discussion we've been having for the past few days. Most large sets have been copied SO many times, it's kind of hard to enforce. In the case of MOST of the big GMK sets, unless you're buying second hand for crazy prices, you're almost always buying an copy. Its just weird to see such a big company doing it... Even the retailers are pressing them to create different caps. Will be interesting to see how it goes.
@@badseedtech Signature Plastics has come forth and said they are not restricting color ways to specific designers. Novelties are protected. A manufacturer cannot afford to let one person lock away a combination of colors. There have been so many GMK sets, it would be hard to come up with something truly original.

I love the big profile switches for my big profile fingers but as soon as I saw the rotating keys that was an instant no no, my OCD kicked in

No, the rotation occurs here bc the stem of the switch is cylindrical.
pok3r rgb case design with cherry mx style switches and usb type C would be way better for average consumer.

The desk in the video is an Ikea Linnmon top on a FlexiSpot frame. I don't put it in the kit bc FlexiSpot is trash imo
