Hi all! Please be warned that all audio cuts out for ~2 minutes around the ~44 minute mark, and I'm sorry! It was too long a video to try and re-record, but I catch everyone up after audio returns. Enjoy!
Always go for Aragorn on turn 1 against more than one eye. Not because it's a winning move, but because the game is more fun and interesting that way.
1:09:30 A unit of the nation not at war can actually retake an empty settlement captured by the opposing side. I was very much surprised when I learned this but it's Summer's judgement so I have no reason to doubt. They are moving within their own borders and not attacking, so neither political restriction affects this move.
Yes, you're totally right! Thanks for the comment and pointing out my mistake!
Don't spoil the outcome in the video title, please!
Agreed. Love the videos, but no spoilers please :p
35:00 Book it into Mordor? Why? Yes, against one eye with several movement, they could make it. But they'd probably get hit once, if not twice, almost certainly taking a little bit more corruption. Even if not, they'd enter Mordor at +7 corruption. They'd be praying for healing cards and good luck. Makes sense to try to heal a bit in Minas Tirith.
Thanks for the content it's awesome!
I think Strider can only move 3 spaces, so I don’t think he could have made it to Fords of Isen from Hollin without help from an action card or having Gandalf in Fellowship @ 10:56 . Thanks for the great replay
Sorry for the confusion. I was imagining a hypothetical situation where the Fellowship didn't get revealed into Moria, and were still in Hollin with 1 movement. In that scenario, Strider could go from Hollin to Fords of Isen with 1 + 3 = 4 movement (though I'm not sure that's advisable)!
@@WarOfTheRingChamp Got it. Thanks again
1:26:06 I would go for Mordor strongholds instead of trying to take MT.
1:00:00 I think I would have used we prove the swifter here to get to DA. Then move most of DA to go to MT/Mordor (or a couple dice earlier to go to erebor)
When that large FP army was in Pelargir, why did he not go south and try and take Umbar? The most you could have mustered in time was an elite ... that left Far Harad vulnerable and if he had been quick to take Angmar he could have won.
First, hello everyone.
