So I just got the same model and totally wished I'd found this video first. This video is much better than the installation video, accurate and way more informative. Also this seems to be a great product so far, other than the slow temp heating process, currently looking at adding an additional heater to speed things up due to im impatient lol.
Mine developed a leak less than a year of having it. Also, it caused my electric bill to be really high. I was glad when it got a leak so that I could throw it away. But, it worked great and I loved using it while it lasted.
i had an inflatable hot tub for 3 years now im on my second one the first one only lasted 1 year and my second one is almost 2 years old but they are not built to last after a year of having on the pump on the cheaper ones go out and the ones that are priced around 500 they have issues where the liner starts splitting at the seams and the chemicals you need more that that with the cost of the chemicals does not matter what chemicals you use they take more chemicals then a swimming pool because my 4 foot deep pool takes less chemicals then my hot tub i have to add 5 different chemicals to keep my water clean and my local pool store told me that having a hot tub the chemicals are the biggest cost to owning a hot tub
Great video! You answered a lot of my concerns, but I have a few more: 1.Was the 102 degree temp hot enough for you? 2. Did you calculate how much this cost to keep hot? This looks like the perfect "soaker" tub for me :)
102 is hot enough but it will drop to 100 in no time, especially with the bubbles on. I had one that I kept outside even in the winter. I loved hopping it naked at night on a cold night.
@@LordOfThePancakes not sure why you are being hostile but I was just curious to know why would somebody be using it in summer. anyhow, stay happy and blessed.
@@rambud986 because I’m sick of folks coming on here questioning me assuming the worst of me & questioning not only my ways but my ethics & morals. The hot tub was being used during the summer time. Why can’t you just accept that? Instead you want to be nosy & come up with all these extra questions. It was being used in summer time for sports related injury prevention purposes due to the anti-inflammatory process of high-temperature soaking combined with cold-temperature soaking. There… happy? Sheesh.. do you want to know what I ate for dinner 4 summers ago as well as the exact clothing I was wearing at the time? It never ends with you ppl…
Interesting. Few questions. Does it use alot of electricity to run it? Is there a drain plug? If left up year round, how long do you think it would last? Is the heater actually strong enough to keep this hot during cold winters?
It's got a 1350w heater. Yes, there is a plug at the bottom. Mine is still in good shape after 3 months, but i don't know what year round wear and tear would look like. I'm not in a cold climate but i watched another review on this hot tub and they said it was able to maintain the heat with the cover on. I just found this on their site. " you can use your inflatable spa in colder temperatures (above 39℉) during the fall or winter seasons to ensure long-lasting use." Hope that helps
I got a question on the websites they say that these only go up to 100 degrees??? You say it goes up to 104, I am just wondering why I am seeing that on the website? thanks
This is a great question. Mine does go up to 104 but i see their website has been updated to only say 100 now. Let me check with the rep and get back to you.
Ok, i heard back and they said that you can turn the heater up to 104, but because of ambient temperatures, the heater may not be able to hold at 104. Because of this they wanted to be conservative with the information they provided on the website and now list it at 100F.
