Why is the pasinger wheel arch so much bigger then the driver side?
Does anyone know of the horrendous injector problem from the 1.6 MK3 Caddy era was solved by the time the MK4 Caddy was introduced? If yes I presume the injectors on the MK5 Caddy Commerce must be at last fit for purpose?
Great review Nobby. Was always amazed how deceptively big the caddy is on the inside. Does it still have the over head shelf? Sound proofing seems to have improved too. Clever and practical car/van.👍
Shelf gone. Comfort levels seem to have taken a big jump!

What do you think of the option of a mesh bulkhead option and clear glass panels on the rear door to assist visibility for reversing or spacial awareness on the road ?
Suppose if you don’t need to hide tools etc and nothing heavy isn’t going to slide into the passenger area it could work!?

Had 3 caddys all within last ten years 07 plate gearbox went 73 k, next 1 ,13 plate turbo went 37 k
So with all of that happening, you still bought 3?
@@NobbyOnCars didnt have choice the garage swapped the 2nd one after they had trouble getting hold of a turbo ,of and by the way the ac condenser broke on that one, 300 notes stopped buying them now ,got a 17 plate transit custom 2 years in no probs yet,I wish Honda would make a van that's the one I'd buy

They don't come standard with the caddy any more. You need someone with ODBII and knowledge on how to set them up.
With all that tech in the recent cars the police should give tickets to the cars instead of the drivers 😂🚘👍

I’ve been driving caddy’s 20yrs, this things an eyesore! a little runt that VW shot itself in the foot with! I’m driving my very last caddy now!

Caddy van 5 2022 10,000 miles auto pro SWB been back 3 times to main dealer problems with digital instrument cluster monitor . Hear a clicking sound may be 6/8 times over a week then says SOS EMERGENCY CONTACT DEALER . Taken in to dealer (reset) so they say not got a direct answer to the problem and why this happens . Happened again this week this time says loading setting's been on this for the past 4 days ROUND AND ROUND . Had no radio no aircon and also a new light central warning amber colour . For a new vehicle more problems them i have ever had going back again on 16/1/23 . Driven caddy's for over 20 years ANY ANSWERS OR JUST A BAD BUY
How did you get those alloys on this as cant get in the UK and LED as standard, pretty much my spec i got upto £35k

I wonder if it`s NOx emission meet the requirement of euro 7.
Since euro 7 will be put into force by 2025, I still cannot see what amount is its NOx emission.
May anybody kindly tell me how much is its NOx emission for 2.0 TDI Caddy MK5?
On the contrary, PSA already announced its DS7(1.5hdi) NOx emission is 30mg/km which meets the euro 7 standard.

yes, I see similar report, but which didn`t not express frankly if it meet the euro 7 NOx standard and what is the exactly NOx emission amount.
@@grandaurore it would seem like a short space of time until then with a new model only launching for it not to be future proofed in that way but then again, the numbers for g/co2 are constantly lowering so 4 years can also be a long time.
For caddy mk5, time is short. But for EA288 evo, it was launched since 2018. VW only declares the CO2 amount but hides the NOx emission quantity.
Last year, many German autonews entreated the euro 7 will cease the light diesel auto industry. For the category like caddy, the lifetime is roughly one decade. When I consider similar cars in one category, how soon will one model stop manufacturing and how many total amount is one model leased into the market; these consideration is what I concern.
For Berlingo mk1, it`s production is a million in total and one decade duration, so many third party parts and the service is endless.
On the contrary, another `90s` Escort van, many parts was ceased at middle of `00s.
@@grandaurore because of the platform this sits on, an EV version of Caddy Cargo is entirely possible so that’s another option I guess.
Any infotainment problems? Not a week goes by without a journalist comment on a VAG car infotainment crashing and there is an update coming
I haven’t seen much at all in 2.0 software. The odd “drive in the centre of the road” on the instruments but only big problems I witnessed were early ID3s with software that has now been updated.
Over priced is the caddy now...for the base model....
Had one of these new and the amount of stuff missing, faults and general tin can feel it was an utter pile of shyte, and thats coming from 10+ years of running them. Absolute garbage.
