Iam on my third caddy 2l tdi maxi I love these cars. The current one has 300000+ km on the clock and does at least 10km of rough dirt road every day. Besides having to replace shocks often and a regular service I have had no problems. Can't wait to upgrade to the new one, they are far more practical than a truck.

VW should sell these in the US 🇺🇸 is both cargo and passenger versions. Well done as usual, Ponch!

They won't because of the chicken tax on imported cargo vans

@@victordo9408 trucks as well, which is also why they don't sell the Amarok there.

It's a good review of a good car, such a shame that people don't test drive more cars when they buy. I'm a firm believer that if you've decided to buy a car (or phone, etc) you should not only cross shop similar products but products at the same price point for reference purposes, like how the thing drives. If people did this I'm guessing people would buy a lot fewer dual cab utes and SUV's

Looked little until Ponch stood next to it.
Can't wait for the GTi version. 😉

    Why are these so expensive?

I have a 2013 caddy maxi tdi manual with 197k and has been faultless, 1000 ks to a tank, lots of room but not as big as some vans so east to drive through the city, only issue with my manual is it’s only a 5 speed, 7 speed dsg would have fixed this issue

Can you do a overview/ review of a 2021 79 series Toyota Land Cruiser?

I cant see the value in this car when compared to much more equipped people movers like the Kia Carnival or even the Honda Odyssey

I had the Older one 2012 Tdi with the cheat Software ☺️ great size and practical.. very good economy 4.7 L/100km mixed cycle. Never will I get a VW again. Soo expensive to fix.. with each Fuel injector failing.. VW wanted $1900 to replace only 1 and the paint was failing on the rear Barn doors from new. Yet never had any Gear box issue 🙂 Bonus 😂

Would not the natural competition to the caddy be the new Hyundai Staria Diesel, or am I missing something ?

Caddy van 2022 10,000 miles auto pro been back 3 times to main dealer problems with digital instrument cluster monitor . Hear a clicking sound may be 6/8 times over a week then says SOS EMERGENCY CONTACT DEALER . Taken in to dealer (reset) so they say not got a direct answer to the problem and why this happens . Happened again this week this time says loading setting's been on this for the past 4 days ROUND AND ROUND . Had no radio no aircon and also a new light central warning amber colour . For a new vehicle more problems them i have ever had going back again on 16/1/23 . Driven caddy's for over 20 years ANY ANSWERS OR JUST A BAD BUY

The Infotainment screen looks like VW stuck a smartphone to the dashboard. A lot of other manufacturers do this, but this is just the worst.

Ultimele 2 modele sunt mai plăcute, 2022 parca este pustiu interior și exterior (Farurile spate plictisitoare)

It should have 3 isofix in 3rd row and different way to move seats in 2nd allowing to have childseat attached and still have easy access to 3rd row. VW does it in Touran:) T7 also misses it, hope ID buzz will be more family friendly.

Why can't all cars have tray tables?
Even the cheapest crappiest airliners have them since forever.
They surely can't cost much more than a decent sun visor.

please no 50fps, camera or video editor set to PAL, the world works of NTSC 60fps. Please change, looks awful on TVs which cant process 50fps at all! Outside of that though excellent review, best in Australia easily.

My VW Caddy had 12 injectors changed and it has only done 57,000 miles. Never again a VW for me. There is no mention of this in the review even though it is common knowledge in the trade. It is this connection with the vow that prevents me to purchase the Ford. Why do the reviews never give honest views? Perhaps because it is sponsored by the manufacturers and those doing the reviews have sold their souls kissing the backside of those paying them to do the review.

It’s not golf based. It’s a beautified transit connect.
