I love the design choice of Thordak's empowered state. When we know that the elemental anchor that was imprisoning him is embedded in his body, it explain why he is so much powerful, there is a fire element crystal (a exceeding powerful one) feeding pure energy to him. I don't know if he naturally had it, but i would bet those "vents" on the sides of his troath and legs, serving to rerving to regulate his empowered breath weapon, appeared after the anchor as fused to him. Being that dragon have a high degree of natural metamorphic abilities, it is all a story communicated by implied and directly explained knowledge. Very cool design choice.

Considering that the quote from Grog of "Fix Him" wasn't actually that far from Bard's Lament, wouldn't be surprised if Percy and Scanlan came back before S3 ends, or maybe Bard's Lament is the ending hook of S3 leading to S4 with the introduction of the next Antagonist, perchance? All a guess/theory, but I'm excited

SPOILERS just in case: What I love is that although it was a product of Pike´s imagination due to that gas when they chase Ripley it was for that specific moment that Pike found enough strength to use the vestage to weaken Thordak. It´s kinda meaningful how the overall loss of Percy helped the team to grow

One them being that since that naturally infuse the magic they radiate into their dragon hoards, they can consume vast amounts of their treasure to create eggs. Probably why Thordak was so demanding in receiving offerings.
You know it will happen eventually as he was set up as the main villain of seasons 2 and 3, and the title only says that they defeat him without saying how they defeat him, so if you don't want spoilers, just don't click the video.

i like more season 2 . i considered the best . season 3 was not as good . the main reason is very weak Thordak . Thordak supposed to be the main boss of the series . but it was just a side quest .

Grog is a barbarian, a Goliath Barbarian at that. Normally the Barbarian class doesn't need heavy-duty armor or shields, they rely on pure strength and health to get the job done. ((and not high on the intelligence roster either)). There is no problem with this character - which was lovingly created from the mind of Travis Willingham.
