Seeing a giant dragon with a rhinoceros-like head being turned into a tree as it dies reminded me of Ancient Magus' Bride, though in that show, it definitely wasn't an awesome moment...
I've never related more to anything than grog and scanlan enjoying that fight
4:46 bro pulled the stone cold stunner🔥
BAH GAWD HE HIT THE STUNNER THE RATTLESNAKE IS BACK
That stone cold stunner hit like a ton of bricks, holy shit
Vorugal lowkey probably has on of the best roars in this show like just listen to this masterpiece 4:35
i swear the action in this series just keeps getting better
I think my favorite thing about the series is how they can change details so we keep the big stuff without spemding forever getting there but still have it all make sense.
I've seen a lot of monsters before but this is probably the most epic of all! (After Godzilla vs Kong that is)
Monsters fights before*
Kong never threw a stunner at Godzilla before
Yeah if Kong still had his electric powers like he did back in the old film?!... Then it will be a different story
Percy: Let them fight…
Grog: Let them f&@k!
“This show is amazing!”
Why yes Grog, yes it is.
4:47 BRO HE HIT HIM WITH THE STONE COLD STUNNER
It's funny the dragon didn't even question why a giant demon was apparently helping vox machina 😂
I get the feeling that this is what would’ve happened, even if the demon was completely unrelated and stumbled upon their fight on accident.
"Cram it De Rollo, I'm having a day!"
Most relatable comment in the show.
You know Grog is just thinking "I LOVE MY JOB!!!"
I’m starting to suspect that they based the demon off of Stone-Cold Steve Austin, with that stunner move
Or Kevin Owens
I love that Grog and Scanlan were doing some faux-WWE commentary for a second. Should've given Yenk a folding chair. Or a ladder.
So glad I live in a time where I get to see a giant demon hit a stone cold stunner on an ice dragon. Can I get a hell yeah
Hell yeah!
I absolutely love the variations to the conclave theme that they established all the way back with Brimscythe, every dragon has expanded on it, Umbrasyl lived up to “the Hope Devourer” and Vorugal is just here for the hunt and the fight and nothing else. Can’t wait for the next dragon fights!
1:50 talk about miss fire 😂
Demon: PUNY MORTALS!! HOW DARE YOU SUMMON ME TO- shit is that a dragon?
Yes.
Demon: you summoned me to fight a dragon?!
Oh god hes pissed!
Demon: I HAVENT FOUGHT A DRAGON IN EONS!! BEST SUMMON EVER!!!
well shit hes happy.
Demon: i forgo your payment for my summoning. Lets fucking go!
Scanlan: huh. That worked out better than expected.
Honestly did something similar with Summon Abheration against a Minotaur and our bard casted enlarge on it while our wizard gave it haste. So it was a dope as battle
@@castbet9183 Wizards that caste haste instead of just fireball all the time are the best wizards
@@TheJerbol Can confirm. My party TPKed due to our wizard hitting me (the tank) with a fireball.
Haste wizards are better.
@@mcmewsen ouch sounds like your wizard sucks!
As a famous merc with a mouth once said, “I should’ve worn my white pants.”
My pop off at 3:11 with the tongue rip from the 2004 King Kong movie was only surpassed by my pop off at 4:46 when the demon hits Vorugal with the fucking *Stone Cold Stunner!*
this is what they had planned in the campaign, it did not work out like this, even though what they did end up doing was great. BUT THIS IS EPIC!
3:45 when an epic version of the chroma conclave theme starts
KAIKJU FIIIIGGGHHHT!!!!
"DID HE JUST RKO A DRAGON!!!"
No, He just *STUNNER, STUNNER, STUNNER* him.
This show had no right to make this fight go THAT HARD! And the music *chefs kiss*
If i had a nickle for every time I saw a fantasy creature get hit with the stone cold stunner this year I'd have two nickles
Which isnt a lot but weird it happened twice
A fight I never knew would happen
I think we can all agree that this is the best goddamn fight we've seen so far in this season
That heavy rock was the perfect choice for the moment the monsters see each other. :D
This was such an amazing fight
This was one helluva fight.
I remember watching this plan come to life in the playthrough, it was awesome to see them actually come up with a sick plan that was incredibly effective
Note to Gen z and Gen Alpha. That was a stone cold stunner, not an RKO. Stunner, you start with the kick and your shoulder hits their chin. RKO, face hits the floor. Both are cutters but NOT THE SAME!
2:40 When they both first got up and faced each other, I immediately thought of a Turf War like in Monster Hunter with the demon being a Rajang overpowering any wyvern
Grog: Are they gonna fight or f**k?
Everyone else: 😳😟.........
Valentino: Well this just got interesting!
The easter eggs in this fight! Kong vs Godzilla and even the stone cold stunner
The sequencing. The timing. The METAL. What a fucking scene
LOVE THIS SHOW PLEASE RENEW FOR SEASON 4 AND 5!!!!!!! unironically this is one of the best things you guys have put out in YEARS
They looked at each other like they have had a century of beef between them and met at last.
Big Boy! Big Big Boy! Big Big Boy Chase Us!!!
The Great Outdoors reference, nice!
First time I saw Yenk do the Stone Cold Stunner, I had to rewind and rewatch like 5 times lmao. Titmouse is really giving 110% for this show.
Am I the only one that imagined Travis screaming "KAIJU FIGHT!"?
1:54-2:09 Funny Pike moment 1.
3:25-3:30 Funny Pike moment 2.
This whole scene is Metal AF.
