everybody should have a best friend relationship like grog and pike
Love how everyone in Vox Machina have different dynamics with each other.
Vax/Keyleth and Percy/Vex are obviously romantic while Scanlan/Pike are a possibility, Grog/Pike are practically siblings, Vax is basically besties with Scanlan and Pike, and Vex and Keyleth had a rocky relationship at first but grew closer through shared experiences.
Pretty good character writing for such a tight-knit group.
Don’t forget Grog and Scanlan are besties, and there is definitely a comedic enmity between Grog and Percy

Grog and Pike are in fact siblings. when Grog was younger her was thrown out of his herd and he was taken in by Pike and his grandfather

Woah that was longer glazing than I thought. I legit JUST found out that all of vox machina is based off real voice actor friends who were just doing a niche dnd campaign online. I started watching the second campaign online bc the first one is just so old and I’ve already watched the show, but holy crap. First off Matt Mercer is pure imagination and improv in human form, in 3 hours I watched him instantly create dozens upon dozens of voices, characters, and personalities on the fly, react to crazy decisions from the players as if it was all part of the plan and speaking these eloquently crafted descriptions and backstories for things were just said or made up by the players. It’s actually crazy. It’s as if he has actually every single inch and soul of the world memorized, I fully believe they could spend an hour just talking to different people in a town and every single “NPC” is gonna sound and feel like their own individual person.
And especially Travis and ashley, and that one guy Jefe or something, who’s character wasn’t brought onto the tv show, are SO GOOD at the quick wit and dialogue of their characters. Some of them like you can absolutely tell that they’re thinking pretty hard about what their character would say or do, or they just kinda talk awkwardly, but those two are so quick with it. They completely become those characters.

@@Oliverf-ej8kl I don't understand the first part of your second paragraph though. Who is Jefe? There's only one person whose character wasn't on the show and that's because he was kicked out of campaign 1, which you said you didn't watch.
@TheJerbol oh yeah I meant talison (no way that's the right spelling) I didn't watch the first campaign so I sorta didn't realize he was Percy. I just mis counted when I first started watching and mis spoke. I'm up to episode 4 now, jeez it takes a while. Super worth it tho, and helps keep my adhd under control lol, i gotta rewatch a lot to actually grasp what's happening.
@@Oliverf-ej8kl Haha no worries. C2 is definitely more chaotic than C1, but the characters are so good! Caleb, Jester, Fjord, NOTT, all are so good
