They're not disbanding. They're all taking a much-deserved vacation. They killed five ancient dragons and almost lost the entire party. They've earned it.
1:07 It took me this long to realize that the undead visage of Vax that we first glimpse in season 2, episode 4 is not what he definitely becomes, but rather what he CAN become because of who he is: a dedicated person willing to throw himself into the fire for those he cares about. And it looks like the process has begun.
Not only I enjoyed having Percy back but also that Trinket respects him more 😂. Literally in the first episode of this season he would rip his head for being near Vex but now he helps him and everything. What a lovely pet
I realized this now: the end of Season 3 here is technically the 1 year timeskip section of the Tabletop series. So season 4 may take place after that, leading to....that moment, with our wonderful purple gnome bard. Gods, that's going to pull some heartstrings, and everything's going to be awesome, wonderful season!
If by that moment you mean Bard's Lament I really don't see how that could happen anymore. Most likely he will just continue to stay with Kaylie and Taryon will pop in as replacement (although there's also a good chance he doesn't make it in in the first place)
A undead friend of mine once said, The balance of the world restored. The balance of these lives, mortal and otherwise, brought to account. Hear me, thou heroes, wastrels, friends. I have waited long to tell you these words. It is over... …for now. Thou played thy part in weaving the fabric of fate itself. But for every thread you sewed, so did the gods unravel another. Sleep, rest, revel. But be ready. For thou mayest yet be needed. Until we meet again, I wish thee every possible fortune. Health, wealth, love, and above all, problems worth solving.
Yeah, but it got it pretty late in the game so they set things up to be relativelly conclusive while still having foreshadowing for If they got more seasons
Season 4 is going to start with vax and keyleth going to the water ashari and meeting some wierd guy in shining armor with an automaton, Vex and percy will get to work on the grey hunt and Zarah is going to deal with the baby and the loss of Kash. And i absolutely cannot wait.
Wait... BABY???? Cash you stallion. I didnt know they had a baby, it is because i don't really followed the og campaign, just yt snipets... but isn't Cash alive in the og too?
Not to mention that his daughter finally accepted him in her life and decided to start a journey with him. And also here everyone never trully disrepected him even having Pike to frequently checking for him to see if he was ok
They make it sound like a disband cause they didn't know if the season 4 will get green lit. Now that it been confirmed. Vox Machina is just taking a long vacation =)))
In the campaign (though its later on than this point) the party does take in-game year break to relax and rest. I assume they moved it up to now for the sake of like you said, they didn't know if it was greenlit for season 4
Next seasons gonna be awesome, love this season! For now the group deserves their vacation. It’s gonna get real interesting with how their triumphs being spread far and wide though.
They’re not disbanding they’re just taking a long deserved vacation, plus a new threat is rising, one greater than the Chroma Conclave. I’m sure you guys know what I’m talking about.
I don’t understand. Wouldn’t the Raven Queen want Vax to retrieve Percy’s soul since Orthax was keeping it for himself instead of allowing it to go to the Raven Queen. Percy’s soul was essentially her stolen property.
Yeah, Vox Machina has this annoying habit of dying, but not *staying* dead. And while Vax may be her Champion, the Raven Queen still takes that personally. Really, really personally. Ultimately, I think Matt was always going to find a way to use her as a plot device to more or less hammer the message that actions have consequences, and death can only be cheated so many times before she comes knocking with a grudge.
"Just don't get married in the meantime," why do i feel that she's saying that for her benefit? I mean if anything, Vex and Percu are either going to get married or break up.
Since the very ending we see the Whispered One, I fear they’ll cut Taryon Arc. So S4 will most likely be Vecna Arc. Or that clip was just merely meant to foreshadow it’s not over yet. That’s merely just a hint, not really the story for S4? I hope it’s just a hint, while S4 would be the Taryon arc. They needed a short break tbh.
With plans for 5 seasons I'd say season 4 will be slower with side quest stuff, hopefully Taryon, then building for just the start of Whispy One arc that goes into S5
@@hhylobates4098 The thing is that since there´s only Vecna left I´m not so sure about a season 5 (I would love to have a 5th season). So imo Taryon could be introduced in the first 3 episodes of and then the rest of season 4 would be dedicated to give a closure to the story and to defeat Vecna (although this could be possible it would be weird that the story gave a chill ending to season 3 and ended 1 season later so perhaps with a season 5 to wrap it up then it wouln´t be a problem)
@@mateoalmandos2131 If Bards Lament got sacrificed because they didn't know if a season 4 would happen, then Tary is most likely on the chopping block too if theyre going to take the same "risk free" approach and end the story without relying on a season 5 renewal. For such limited time on the final arc the focus would need to be on the main characters and not some new guy with minimal story impact

If he's leaving with Kaylee for the timeskip... this was it. Disappointing.
