Hi and cheers for watching. We haven’t actually used it yet as we haven’t needed to place the dish away from the troopy. The cable itself appears to be good quality although I have been told that there could be some voltage drop over 20m when using 12V. I can’t say if that’s the case as yet. Hi. Good review. We just bought one. How have you found the 50gb plan? We aren't on the road full time but have elderly parents in ill health and need to be able to be contacted. Another silly question - do you use Messenger or Facetime or Whats App to make phone calls? We presume you just can't ring lie usual. Thanks for doing a review. Helped us to decide.
Hi, thanks for watching. 50gb has been fine so far but if you do a lot of streaming/downloading it probs won’t be enough. We fully expected to have to upgrade to the unlimited plan but we’ve been able to avoid it so far. Using iPhone with wifi calling turned on in your mobile settings you can just use the phone as normal. We’ve also used FaceTime. Hope that helps.

Thanks for doing this..I may have missed it in the vid, but when you run it off 12v, does your troopy electrical setup have sufficient power (wattage) to run it? could you show us the power draw using both types of connection (12v and 240) from the troopy? thanks
@@bevoliver2020 Hey. Bev, we only received the 12v cable when we returned from that trip a few days ago so haven’t used it yet. We need to install another USB-C outlet that will cope with Starlink (100W) so that’s the next job. Will do a comparison when we have that sorted.
