I use the standard starlink mounted to my house and it runs as my house’s main internet source. I wanted to to support Tesla instead of a cable company that constantly raises prices. There’s 50 devices connected to my starlink and months in, everything is working fine. I have an entire smart home with several tvs and several 24/7 nest cameras
I'll be camping at Joshua Tree NP next weekend with my son for some hiking and to try out the starlink mini, and I'll be powering it with the Anker Power Bank at only 1.5 lbs, it was able to power the mini in my backyard and if we need additional time, we can always get power from the Model Y
Ive had starlink for almost 6 years and its the best! Can push a button and all the ice and snow melts off it too. Easiest customer service ive ever delt with, delivery took a bit but deffently worth it! I live in the middle of no where
FYI for clarification...megabits per second, not megabytes per second (8 bits = 1 Byte)... "mbps" = 'megabits per second" - measures data transfer speeds over a medium (think bandwidth like cellular, wifi, satellite, fiber, broadband, etc) "MB" = MegaBytes - used to measure data storage on a medium (think storage like USB, HDD, RAM, DVD/CD, etc)
1:08 “use your camera’s phone” 😂😂
Hahaha

Wow cool didn’t know about the ice. I saw the place they make the dishes pretty sick
Can't wait for Ast Spacemobile, no backpack! 😮
Awesome video, thanks for the fun trek in the desert. Your dogs are cute and funny.
Haha thank you!
Great video Chris. FYI - It is Megabits per second. Not Megabytes per second when it comes to network speed. People confuse that all the time.
Thanks for the clarification! It's easy to get those mixed up.
You make it sound like you set up & it works. There's not much mention that a plan is required for it to operate.
You make it sound like you’re assuming everyone is dumb like you
It's there

Dang that’s what I meant haha sorry thanks for catching it
@@EverydayChris To add, you can divide the Mbps by 8 to figure out how many MB/s you'd actually get while down/uploading
All good bro. You say 100 megabytes. Editor says megabits. What to believe
How much is the mini? Lice to take it on Asia vacation with you in a backpack
Legit check the website
That Bluetti backpack is pretty slick.
It’s legit but heavy
