- Dan Prosser and Andrew Frankel discuss the British Formula 1 drivers of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s who had their careers, and often their lives, cut short.
But which of them really was destined for F1 greatness? This is at times a morose episode, but so too is it filled with tales of extraordinary courage and bravery, of iron will and boundless determination.

Only ten minutes in but as a disabled car enthusiast this is already inspiring. Wish I knew these stories as kid. Well done fellas.
Watson's accident was at Monza, 1981. Another excellent podcast.
What's most surprising about all of this, is that the sport exists to this day and wasn't outlawed many years ago.
When Chris Harris drove an F1 car with Autocar, he asked Martin Brundle if he left foot braked. Brundle didn't answer his question and now I can see why.
I love this podcast but todays episode was rather cringy, the discussion could have been done without discussing so many broken bones or injuries.
