tried all the steps. it did NOT work. i can see a signal coming through the MIDI channel on Ableton but no sound. when i go back to stand alone module, i get sound. when i switch to Ableton, it cuts out. i notice when you bring in loopMIDI it shows "LoopMIDI Port 16" but mine reads "LoopMIDI Port 0". there is no way to change it. i also notice your Cue Out & Master Out show 15/16. i tried to set this but only options i get are 1/2, 1 & 2. can you help?
Ah it seems like you have an asio driver that can't be shared between applications. You can use asio4all as a workaround. The actual midi port and audio channels don't matter.
Hi Opto, @@optoproductions inside Ableton (VCV+ABLETON+LAUNCH CONTROL) it won't let me map, outside of Ableton live (VCV+LAUNCH CONTROL) it's possible.
@@paulonuneesx If you're on windows you can only use a controller for one program at a time, so Ableton or VCV Rack. Maybe you can get around this by using LoopMIDI, but it's probably easier with the Pro version of VCV.
@@paulonuneesx ah oke, well then you can just map it like you would any other softsynth in Ableton, by clicking on the arrow on the device and using the configure button.

Precies wat ik nodig had.... Dank je wel 🙂
Graag gedaan 😃
Thank you very much
Thanks, although theres a lag (very small but noticeable) any fixes ?
You can change the clock delay in live's preferences menu, that should help
you the man!
vcv rack ,launch control in ableton Daw , is that possible?
I'm not sure what you mean with Launch Control? You want to map VCV Rack wih a MIDI controller? That's possible with the Map module.

@@optoproductions thank you for your quick response, currently I am using the Pro version of VCV, thanks anyway.

I did everything you showed in the midi loopback and setup sections. It doesn't produce any sound. I'm a windows user btw
What DAW are you using?
@@optoproductions I made it work, i had to change the output setting of the audio module
@@rodrigolabra6962 ah this always gets me too 😄
Je bent geweldig... tot snel.. hoeveel dagen nog? HAHAHA
Haha thanks nog even 😅
