A pedal kit that lets your rear suspension WORK. The original pedal kit is located directly on the rear swingarm, therefore it does not spring your weight... you will feel the difference immediately.
Plug and Play pedal kit fixed to the frame! You just disassemble the existing side brackets and install the pedal kit. This pedal kit will not propel your ebike.
Easy setup. You may easily change between pedals or footpegs (and you have two footpeg positions!). Just install the footpegs or the cranks without removing the pedal kit, You choose!
Maintenance free. New design is maintenance free since it has sealed cartridge bearings.
Cranksets compatible. This kit is compatible with most square tapered cranksets, no major crank offset is required.
Brace bar. Also works as a brace bar
Reduced wobble. Little to no wobble of the chain, a common problem with the OEM kit
Aluminum made in order to reduce weight. With a weight of around 3 Lb (1.5 kg) it is lighter than the OEM kit. The spindle is made of steel.
Durable Materials. Parts made of aluminum, hardware of stainless steel and spindle in blued steel. - กีฬา
They should make one with a small generator attached to it so you could charge the battery as you pedal. The pedals would still not be connected to the chain but provide a little charge. Then it could also still be "pedal assisted"

Thanks for this video. I’ll be buying my Sur Ron this month and I think I will buy these pedals too. Lots of mountain bikers and hikers that would get mad and call the police without the pedals.

I’m considering on getting a surron and I’m in the UK, you ever been stopped by the police? If so, what did they say about it?
No problems as of yet, think if you’re not being a knob and flying round at 40mph on the road you can easily get away with looking like your on a mtb with the peddle kit on, my friend has one and has the police pull up next to him at some traffic lights and said nothing, definitely need the peddle kit though
@@case1graffiti cheers mate, I’m not planning on steaming everywhere on it anyways, just a little bit quicker than I would on a mountain bike. Do you use a motorbike helmet or anything, I would think the police would be more suspicious if you’re wearing one.
@@joshuahaughey6087 I’ve just got a van to take mine around in now so I’ll get geared up as if I was on my motocross bike, but from just taking it to work and out and about I haven’t as it draws more attention and I’d only go as fast as push bike, No one really takes a second look, we’ve taken them pretty much everywhere you’d take a push bike and never had anyone say anything, it’s definitely the way forward in the uk where you can’t take a motorbike anywhere

It would be awesome if they could incorporate a plug and play cadence or torque sensor
I would of fitted the gears too so the pedals are functional, and gone for short half size cranks to make pedals closer and give ground clearance. Then you don't need to make excuses too and can get home if your battery dies :).

Painting the axle black will make it blend better, that makes it less obvious there is no sprocket or connection to the drive-chain. Tell 'em all yo missing sprocket is broken when somebody busts you for fake pedals, that's my plan...
Good idea
Actually the first version has a black steel spindle, but we preferred to change it to stainless so it will maintain a better condition. You can self paint it black, but that will create a problem with the bearing tolerance to take the spindle out without dismounting the kit! Your choice 👍🏻

can you just confirm please that the pedals are literally there for show/legal reasons and do not actually affect the movement/speed of the bike in any way?

His kit does not move you bye pedaling.. HOWEVER they do have a full actual pedal kit its a little more expensive i think it comes out to about $250

Would not trust those soft tires in the Woods, they are so easy to pinch through. I got maxxis on mine and you could even run them without air couse of the thick Rubber given Support like a runflat tire

The thing is your suposed to be able to pedal with out any power to the bike so i think if u got pulled over by a cop and couldnt prove that it moves they could charge u with driving a motorcycle without a license basically but i doubt it would come down to that. Its a stupid law anyways
