I'm lucky to have 1000s of squirrels right in my backyard. They are destructive little turds. I call them in so I can drop them off the tree with my Viper Blowgun. It's so much fun. I had taken lots of practice with cardboard and foam targets I cut out myself. Now I can hit them pretty efficiently. They taste good too!

Shot 5 squirrels last weekend out at a friend's place in central Illinois. The thought of using a blow gun and running into Tim definitely crossed my mind. Love shooting squirrels and I really love eating them! Squirrel hot wings are one of my favorite things to make!

I was squirrel hunting with my blowgun behind my apartment. I shot a squirrel in the neck. Two weeks now I've been seeing him running around like the jerk with an "arrow" sticking through him. I didn't hit any thing vital, dude is just living like that. Been trying to get a second shot but he's real skittish now. I need them speed demon darts he wouldn't have gone far with those.

I once had a red squirrel come when deer hunting. He was totally inverted in color. What should have been red was white and what should have been white was red. Looked all white with red circles around his eyes and a red belly. I went home and got bird shot and went back never to see him again. Would have made an interesting mount.

I have squirrels terrified in my neighborhood if I walk outside with ANYTHING in my hands they scatter and bark to alert their friends. My English lab weighed 110 lbs in his prime .

When we used to go squirrel hunting we would tag team them
I just had my first experience with a squirrel “throwing” pinecones earlier this deer season and i thought ‘oh well hes just dropping them’ but when i seen them fly 5 or so feet from where he was i knew something was up haha

If you lick the top of your hand and get it wet. Then suck on the wet spot, it makes a better squirell sound. Sounds more natural. Good stuff. My wife bought me your blowgun. Practicing today been using a pellet gun to shoot pesky doves. They scatter from noise and hide nearby. I feel a blowgun will be more deadly, "IF" I become deadly with it.

Love that skinning technique! But I like cape skinning when I can just because it seems a shame wasting anything. To me it's a lack of respect to waist. However it's not always possible to make use of everything... and not everyone shares my views. I tan all the hides I can but it is not always possible to do so.

You can place shots where you need to
They are unreal when you loosen the rear cone so that it pops off when it hits the hide. They penetrate really deep, sometimes going straight through the animal
The way you skinned it destroyed the hide. Is there a way to save the hide?
