You must have tools in camp to pull the spark plugs and drain any oil out of the cylinders, clean the plugs. Put back in mount it on stern hook up the tank give it a go.
The guides are very knowledgeable and Professional. The bush is absolutely gorgeous and extremely dangerous if you’re not prepared! Dad lived in Fritzcreek Alaska for 40 yrs! We’ve seen amazing wildlife and beautiful views! The old timers have amazing stories and they’re a history lesson it’s always a pleasure to talk with them! A few are full of 💩 not many. Bush pilots are crazy if not insane!!
Bralin wow your editing is outstanding i like so many grew up watching your Dad Jim hunting i could NEVER THANK HIM ENOUGH bcs of Jim I've enjoyed lifetime hunting fishing with my friends I worked harder to save extra money to go on some of my dream hunts THANK YOU Jim & Family
Absolutely fantastic stuff. Been hoping to get into hunting Fall of 2025. And this has been really insightful. Enjoy the reflection of guests and guides alike. Beautiful shots among great people and scenery.
For perfect eggs let them rest in their whole shell at room temp before you plan on cooking them up,so they aren’t runny and snotty looking. Get a pot of coffee going then bacon and sausage n home fries then fry up the eggs. Get the smells wafting around so they’re good’n hungry.
that was the previous video that led you to this one actually… i’m guessing , cuz i just watched that and this came up after that and Peter’s Rural CA video… anyway, i gotta agree. Looks very appealing. I think he’s likely gonna get a lot of interest, right? Maybe more than he can or wants to process/ filter. That guy IS impressive. Hope the video doesn’t bring any weirdness to their little slice of paradise.. but the guy is nothing if not competent at problem-solving. That’s the best use of a few million bucks that I’ve ever seen/ heard of. That kind of setup and isolation does not come without a serious price tag… lot better than some crappy luxury mansion in some gated community - and prob. comparable in price.🤷🏻
Wow. what can I say. Just watching this is like being there with you. Oh I wish I could have done something like that. I still go out a lot by myself, camping on public wild lands. I've seen a lot too. I love that feeling of the unknown. The thought that I could die out here. That's the way I would want it. Die on the trail. thanks
11:15 .................flipping the boat over. Zero respect unto the boat in just letting bang to the ground......incompetence is'nt something that just comes and goes like some bad mojo or bad luck cloud over ones head. Competent people carry themselves "squared" away at all times.
Hello my name is Kevin Schmidt I live in Faro from 1985 till 2002. I spent a lot of time on the Yukon plateau Fox Creek in the north canal. As well as many other places in the Yukon as well always enjoy the hunting up there. It was always spectacular. Never got in to Mayo.I live in Fraser Lake now but still miss the Yukon. Spent time hunting with Shawn Raymond his dad an many others from Faro. I have been told that it has changed a lot.
Dude that had a TKR only last November. He is doing pretty well. Hope he gets even better. Biggest thing to help (and sometimes hardest with the down time) is keeping the weight down so it isn't even harder on you. I'm not a fan of ozempic but sure can see the utility as a "cheat" at least for the first phase. My "right hand" at work had one and she is one of the toughest people know. Healed great but she always said that was the hardest part as long as the surgery goes well. PT sucks but your metabolism just isn't what it used to be.
Jim What have you done in BC.where you live ?to restore grizzly hunts in BC?Lynn Fleming s lawsuit as a guide against the government has been stalled forever as to the why's?? Why can you still take 2black bears as trophies but not grizzly, the rèson I gather the season was closed. What's their population now?Over 18,000? They never kill over 50 grizzly in the Yukon,so how are you helping us Canadians to hunt on our own land? Bob 75 running out of time😢
I would not spend a day out in the woods with Steve, he’s always in panic mode moose hunting, boat motors and bears grow a pair and handle yourself accordingly 🤦♂️
....I wonder, is it hard, and a big Hassle for the client hunters, to get the meat shipped back home, or do the guides get the meat, please respond, if anyone has had the experience....
Right?! He’s supposed to be a guide, yet acts like a client!? Very arrogant guy, would have no interest in hunting with that guy. On the other hand all the guides he hires seem great!👍
Paying that kind of money i think bobo is a bit young or inexperienced might be a better term to guide id want a veteran who's old enough to at least be my dad lol guiding me if i paid that much lol
I Iove how Jim said, these kids are outdoors in the Yukon and loving nature, are some kids want to be glued to there cell phones at home
Jim is an awesome guy both Hunter and regular dude. It’s not what you do. It’s how you make people feel that’s important
Great, guiding ties and love the training of the younger guys. Never a boring moment in this show. Love to see more!
You must have tools in camp to pull the spark plugs and drain any oil out of the cylinders, clean the plugs. Put back in mount it on stern hook up the tank give it a go.
Here’s a thought, confirm there’s a problem before calling the bosses that there’s a problem. Purposefully edited I’m sure for the show
yes but this is all about drama i find it is a comedy . just saying as i been there as a kid in the 60s .
Merely a minor setback on a Tuesday lol.
@@EFD1stDue My thoughts exactly. Calling the king before the sky falls isn't the smartest move.
Exactly, pull plugs, yank rope a few times and get plugs back in. Not hard. This type of stuff is where you can tell its produced drama.

Thanks for posting this amazing video.
I remember 45 years ago we shot a sheep, I remember how good the rib's were. Interesting how Jim said they were the best meat of all the game!
Father Son guides is the comfy camp forsure I guarantee

Talk about not carrying about someone else's equipment there
Man I devoured every second of this. Amazing
But I am getting older and can’t do the things I used to but still trapping and hunting thanks Jim for inspiring me me
Dude. This is like the best picture I've seen. This is quality stuff
I watched all 3.5 hours
much love from central switzerland, what a great show!
More of this, please.
This is incredible!
What a great show.
beautiful nature is a great show. greetings from Russia 🇷🇺

He’s acting like a juvenile bear so awesome to see that, however brings back memories. I’ve been within 15 yards of grizzlies in Katmai.

I wanted it for Brent more than anyone ever.. praise god
So much pressure on the guides wow I didn’t realize how much they had
My boss talks to me and I interrupt him to go "it's in the past, it's behind me" I hope he sends me home.
If you aren’t smart enough to pull the plugs on an oil or gas locked motor, you do not belong in the middle of nowhere.
Preach it ,, 🙌 facts
I got emotional eith you buddy ❤

great video but why do you have to play the blame game - what is done is done - let it go. Surely everything is insured
Caliber and rifle muzzle loading is crazy
Nice editing .. motor on a lund and a crestliner boat in same sequence
its a comedy for sure for the ones that know

John Wayne was an actor. We tough guys and girls live in the real world of adventure.

Bob 75 running out of time😢
Jim Shockey we need a strong voice for us Canadians to use the right of hunting rifles to take our game!! Are you game?
How does a guide not know how to pull a spark plug and clear a cylinder of the oil.
Moose hunting is like tracking a winnebago thru a corn field.
I could imagine how much the guided trips cost, and there are no guarantees
Brother don't call the boss till after you know you can't get the motor started...
I would not spend a day out in the woods with Steve, he’s always in panic mode moose hunting, boat motors and bears grow a pair and handle yourself accordingly 🤦♂️
HE will clam down with time he's still young
....I wonder, is it hard, and a big Hassle for the client hunters, to get the meat shipped back home, or do the guides get the meat, please respond, if anyone has had the experience....
I'm hunter too but yall are in his world the bear is bear top of food chain
I pray that Jim Shockey is not charging customers for this experience

Have you ever met him? I have and didn't get the impression that he was arrogant at all.
@@baileyblume2318he actually said at beginning ~9:40 he was acting like the client to train them ..
the guy lux lajk that guy from that killer moovie XD
Its the wild if your out there for just the mooseyour there for the wrong reason. Its not supposed to be easy its not a highfence hunt!
Small world that's my buddy who got attacked by the bear. Just had a drink with him at the Xmas party.
Facts Cody I saw that moon ship in person and thought the same thing there is no way they landed this and sent monkeys to space in a tin foil box..
Are these videos of today as far as December 2024 cause?I don't want to why nobody's gotta drone.
Oil in the cylinder. Hydrolocked? 🤣 Pull the spark plug and drain the oil out. SMFH with the drama.
Too much drama, just for the show. Try the boat motor fist then make a phone call....The motor can be fixed and not cost 12,000.00
this is more of a drama than anything
It’s sad that you spend all that money and you don’t even get to meet Jim Stockey it’s just a business that’s all
Paying that kind of money i think bobo is a bit young or inexperienced might be a better term to guide id want a veteran who's old enough to at least be my dad lol guiding me if i paid that much lol
Why are you whispering those sheep are 400 yrd away....I know it makes it more dramatic...
It would be nice to have a straightforward presentation like meateaters.. no fabricated scenarios to try to spice up the show... can't watch it.
Jim Has No Idea How to Cook Eggs
That is cheating using a rifle and a bow, you should use a knife on the end of a spear this will give the animal a dair chance
Go eat a salad
On my way to buy 100 pounds from the sausage maker oh my yes please
Why do people like fake, dramatic, scripted, “reality” show acting like this? It’s so annoying. How do you watch this garbage and think it’s real?
I think that moose was AI generated at 42 mins
@@Fawn218 I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. I didn’t even make it that far into the video though, before the fake drama started.
It’s called entertainment.
@@darthlord4411 If you like bad acting and fake drama, labeled as reality.
. Lma0....!!!
I'd say "flip it over to the right side" then get something else done.
Ten minutes in and I can already see this is a dumb fake show.
