I tried to find a seller a few months back for a second Cruze I own now with no luck. Everyone I called would not help. I think someone in the comments of my DPF delete video found someone. You might want to research that.

Love the videos on the cruze! About to do my delete on my 14 when the parts arrive. The pipe from the engine side is 3inches in diameter? And the pipe on the other side of the flange is 2.5 inches in diameter?
Could be several reasons, maybe he just enjoys doing stuff himself, also easier to remove said parts if the end result isn't what you expected. And last be not least, if a muffler shop gets caught removing parts from a diesel's exhaust system there's a good chance they'd get shut down and fined a bunch of money if the wrong (or right) people knew about it. They're most likely not gonna risk their business to make $100 on an muffler delete lol.
@@dedalliance1 facts. And to save 10$. People like me try to save 10$ on our car project so we can use it on our drone hobby next week but hopefully find a way to save 20$ on that to spend on our audio hobby the week after that haha 🤣 that list goes on for days tho
So are you able to hear the turbo bark? I just purchased one with a clogged dpf and bad turbo. Before I addressed the exhaust you could rev it up at idle and let off and the turbo sounded wicked like a duramax when you let off. That was when nothing was hooked to the turbo outlet at all. Was curious if I’d get that sound back if I eliminated the muffler too
...that cold start was wicked. Diesels are smokey and stink...what is the point? The warmed-up idle is good, though...and I'll bet it sounds fine under pedal-to-the-metal acceleration...to each his/her/their own...
For real? Do you have a catless downpipe or still got that cat? My car got a little louder going from stock downpipe to catless downpipe but I already had short air intake
Carter, you still driving that car and how's it running? How many miles now? How's the fuel mileage ( mpg?). As far as the sound, that's definitely louder.
@@carteranderson32 did you do a vid on the timing belt replacement too?? Many guys who do their own have an issue keeping the crank and cam stable while putting on the new belt since its an interference engine and the cam moves when you take off the old belt since there's valve spring pressure.
@@carteranderson32 I saw those from Brad, but he doesn't explain how he put the new one on without moving the cam which is vital?? Getting the old one off is easy, putting the new tighter one on is much harder without moving the crank nor teh cam. Did you use the tool they make to keep them in place??
Maybe I am not following you. I released the pressure by loosening the tensioner first. Made sure the 3 timing marks were in a location where the belt was touching them. Then took off old belt and put new belt on making sure all 3 timing marks on new belt lined up with marks on engine. Then tightened tensioner back up and all was good on both cars I did this on.
Im pretty sure it doesn't effects yo MPG. mufflers are mainly used in order to muffle the engine sound unless yo muffles weights more then 30kgs removing it won't effect yo cars performance

@@RandoManFPV for one its a resonator delete not a cat delete. When he cut the forward portion of the pipe do you see the slip over portion see how there's two layers of pipe ? He should have removed the inner portion since this was in the name of performance

Did u delete the cat converter after the before the muffler. Resonator pipe with the cat converter is over 300 dollars any way to delete this pipe

I still drive the car daily. No issues. About 138k miles now. I always get 40 to 50 mpg.

I have done two timing belt replacements with no issues. There is a good video already on TH-cam for it.

Since I loaded the old OZ Tune when I did the DPF delete, I did not get any codes. Not sure what would happen on a stock tune.
