Please create these videos in a landscape mode and with a better camera.. The cormorant roaster as a product is very well engineered and one of the most versatile machines for speciality roasting. It needs good marketing.(existing customers also can help build the brand)
Looking forward to purchasing one soon.

I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since picking up the roaster from you both. I'm still extremely happy, great affordable roaster for this quality of build and control. I'm still amazed of what you have built.

Great video showing the basics of green beans roasting on the Cormorant Roaster. I have just placed my order for one as it really seems a fantastic start to enjoy the control over the process.
So far I have been using a 1970s 1500W West Bend Poppery popcorn popper which still is a good and cheap way to roast coffee. What I have been missing is consistency... although my roasts are very good, I struggle to get the hardness of beans down a bit and to keep at it on a profiled level.

Great video Johan. I really like the new design with the wooden legs and the fan gauge moved to the top of the roaster. I can't wait to get mine! November can't come soon enough!!

I'm roasting with a bread machine and heat gun right now and i'm producing some really good coffee. People actually want to buy it from but I really need to get one of these from you. I really like machine over the other options out there.

By far the best priced quality roaster at this capacity. Shame on the USA manufactures, building bulky machines and not offering a quality 1lb+ roaster like this one.

Thanks Johan, I can’t wait to get mine in August. Can you tell me what kind of software I’ll need and where to purchase ?
    Thanks Rob

I'm interested in buying a 5-600g gas roaster, so watching vids and reading about it... but unless something better turns up in this price category, this will probably be it.
Was just wondering though, the motor that spins the drum makes an uneven sound as if something's not quite right. Not sure how else to describe it. Any idea if that's normal or what causes it?

I was wondering about this as well. The oscillation increases as drum rpm increases.

The roaster appears to have changed a lot since I bought mine 5 or 6 years ago. Is this pretty much the final design?

HI John, it's good to hear from you. Yes, this is it. We added a USB port into the back of the base part with the latest version. This is for easy connection to the Phidget artisan hardware. We are not planning any design changes from here on. Cheers, Johan
