He been working at the Vineland State School - special needs group homes for 30+ yrs. here in Jersey (old name of it... Think it's called Elwyn now) but you right... People need to keep an eye on loved ones in them places... My stepdad done witnessed abuse by coworkers & reported them & they had the nerve to move my stepdad to another group home bc he spoke up!!!! The freakin' nerve!!! Yeah, it's packed in them group homes but my stepdad loves the work. He just getting too old to keep up. I'm 51 so I know he up there. Lol God's speed, Irisa! 💜
You actually did that for your sisters (may she continue to rest in eternal peace) children, you stepped up and took over as mom and did a wonderful job😊 I pray and trust in God and am hopeful that someone will provide exceptional care for Darius

Wouldn’t you set this up ahead of time? Put him in community activities to make him independent. No one will cater to them like you do but that doesn’t mean they won’t treat them right!
