That was crazy good! Also a good video for all the WR250 and DR650 riders to watch after stating anything larger than said bikes are too large for single trail, without stating "for me" afterwards 😅. Have you changed the gearing on that AT?
@@thatguyonanafricatwin I've got a Africa Twin 1000L Adventure Sports and I did modify it a lot! It's an awesome bike and I do nice offroad as well. But I'm always carrying my camping gear to sleep outside, so it's a bit heavy.. All the best for you! Where are you from?
@@thatguyonanafricatwin dude, I've got the same modifications like you! ADV Camel front fender kit and Outback Motortek complete crash bar system. Are you talking about the wheel bearing, at the beginning of the video? That broke with my bike as well.
@timmbo with camping gear is how the bike is meant to be ridden I think. I am out of BC in Canada, how about you? The bearing in this video is the sprocket carrier bearing. There are 3 in the rear wheel. The Sprocket carrier gets a lot of torque on it by design. And, it is one of the worst to fail if it does.

The guy was able to change it for me, somehow it wasn't a special size or so. I don't remember, how many kilometers I had on the bike, very stupid that I didn't write down a note. But what do you think, should I change it again? What's your opinion on it? Or do you say like, "I change mine like every XXX kilometers to be sure"?

Man, you need to upload more videos 🎉 I really enjoyed watching it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I have two more videos coming soon!
What a ride!👍 Fantastic scenery at the lockout! Greetings from Sweden !
Thank you! Greetings! Thanks for tuning in 🙏
Dud, that was some awesome riding. Thanks for sharing that with us...
No problem 🤙and thanks!
Bold and impressive riding.
Clearly not the “average” guy when it comes to throwing a heavy adventure bike around.
Thanks, I appreciate your comment.
Motivating! Just got my 2016 AT and can’t wait to ride some gnarly terrain that some would say the Twin doesn’t belong😁
It's a great bike and is more capable than it looks!
@@thatguyonanafricatwin just wrapped the wheel in some Motoz rubber and looking forward to growing into the bike.

Big fan of your "doesn't matter if you touch the ground as long as you make it through" theory. Story of my life.
I'm glad you like it, I've come to it with much trial and error 🤙
I miss my AT, off course I didn’t ride it like Pierce.
Thanks for the video 🎉
It's a great bike. Glad you liked it 🤙
Holy sh*. Another crazy ride. Your mom is scared when she watches you ride those crazy trails.
Bro´s life insurance fees must be horendous ;) Very cool ride!
Thanks! I don't share how dangerous it could be with everyone

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Yes, I am down 1 tooth in the front.
Good skills, congratulations.
Thank you, hope you enjoyed the view!
dude !! you got some skills!!!
Thank you 🤙

Awesome stuff and views!
I was wondering what you run fer tires and gearing? Rear tire looks like a beast
Haha 2 seconds after I wrote the question you answered it, on the tires
👍For gearing I'm down 1 tooth in the front.
dude you must wear a huge jock strap, and a tiny little helmet, to take a Twin up there :-)
Thanks so much! 🤙
Do me a favor...take the dirt chimps on their big bikes on that route and film it.....please
I have suggested it a couple of times, it just hasn't worked out yet.
No thanks. You first Robbie!

Sorry, meant DUDE.
So happy that worked out for you, not as much as you're happy to still be alive, cannot you find anywhere hard to take your AT! 😱
I'm not sure I was ever in danger but recovering the bike off a couple of the hills would take a while and probably some friends.
And I thought I was hard on my AT.
Gotta make sure the crash bars work!
Really want to watch this video but not sure why it’s only in 360P resolution. Unwatchable on the big screen Sorry.
That's frustrating. I tried it myself and I had no problem at 1080p. Maybe it'll work for you now?
Thank you it is much better now. What an amazing ride with a fabulous view! Glad to finally put a face to the voice too!!
The view is spectacular and is earned. I didn't realize how dirty my face was until I went through the video. 🤙
