Banks are the most heavily regulated industry by the government, the fact that a bank can close ANYONE's account who was not doing anything illegal AND defaming or mentioning the bank itself should be impossible. For example if Nigel Farage never publicly mentioned or talked poorly or positively about the banks he was using and did nothing illegal, this should have never been possible, hands down.

Just a thought... When they were talking about the free market aspect of banks, it's important to remember that the free market wouldn't bank with them if they kept doing this to clients without solid reason. So yes, they should be able to do it but the clients have the voting power with where to put their money.

I am far from rich, living on my pension and some savings put aside over many years. A weekly insert of an Italian leftist newspaper had on the cover a huge yacht costing many million Euros, in front of which were posing some 350 persons that had been involved for a year from inception, design to construction, furnishings .... and so on, to complete it. Many criticized this WASTE of money that could have been better used, instead I saw that it had given "work" to so many, and as it is known, for every wage/salary worker, up to six others benefit by induction, such as the grocer, baker, butcher .... The more rich persons are in a country, one can deduct that there is less poverty.
My thanks go to Nigel Farage for giving us thoughts worth listening to.

If you’re not rich and forced to live in the US, as Farage says not everyone can move around freely unless they are rich, you have plan your taxes or have a tax strategy. I paid over 20,000 dollars in taxes only making 20,000 dollars partly due to stocks. It was close to 100,000 dollars in taxes the year before. I could have offset the tax burden/capital gains say if I had real estate or sold stocks, bitcoin when they were low. Moving to a foreign country, denouncing one’s citizenship, is simply too risky if you don’t have enough passive income. It’s also messed up how it’s hard to seek asylum from the US since it’s not the free country with a stellar human rights record it portrays to be.

@@nomadcapitalist It is sad that Andrew is still interviewing this liar. Most people in Britain regret Brexit. Firstly it has made it much more difficult for UK citizens to go where they are treated best. Taxes in the UK have increased significantly since Brexit. Infrastructure has fallen apart. Looking at Britain as a business model you would never leave the largest free trade area in the world. If somebody did that in business they would be fired. Just look at countries like Bulgaria who are in the EU but taxes are low 10%. I would like to ask Nigel why is no other country in the EU/EEA area considering leaving? An EU passport is now far more valuable than a British one.

We never broke laws and always respected each countries customs, etc. We found we could have gotten residency in quite a few countries, you just have to patiently learn - study the requirements, follow the rules and you can do this. It’s time to stand up for national culture, history, and a shared value system. That’s the whole idea of national sovereignty.

Basically, Nigel screwed the UK over. Now Brits have to start hunting for alternate passports. I am sure that makes for a lot of clients for boutique consulting firms such as Nomad Capitalist so Andrew is possibly elated to have Nigel as a guest. As far as Farage is concerned, he can just play the "brexit wasn't done the way I wanted it", "Conservatives are bad, labour is worse", "labour is bad, conservatives are worse", "UKIP was infiltrated by the Tories", "Reform UK is infiltrated by XYZ" games forever.
      He is NO hero.

The government should give better direction. Where is UK going? Where is all the tax money going ?
I don’t understand why the government always broke.
20% vat on most of the items.
    20% corporation tax
    38% dividends tax
You guys are driving people away, as Farage says.
