Banks are the most heavily regulated industry by the government, the fact that a bank can close ANYONE's account who was not doing anything illegal AND defaming or mentioning the bank itself should be impossible. For example if Nigel Farage never publicly mentioned or talked poorly or positively about the banks he was using and did nothing illegal, this should have never been possible, hands down.
he was literally told he could open an account with Natwest instead as his Coutts account didn't reach minimum funding requirements.. there's nothing sinister about it. Don't listen to these right-wing nut jobs.
Bank did well to target the likes of NF.
@@whtwht what do you mean?
Just a thought... When they were talking about the free market aspect of banks, it's important to remember that the free market wouldn't bank with them if they kept doing this to clients without solid reason. So yes, they should be able to do it but the clients have the voting power with where to put their money.

I’m a dual UK/US citizen. I currently live in the UK but am leaving in October as it will be unbearable under a Labour Govt, so moving to West Virginia, a no income tax state
And it’s not unbearable under the worst British govt in history

Well, W.V. does have a graduated income tax.. between 3% to 6.5%.....However, it is a Terrific State with Great People......Good Luck with your move and All the Best !...
I moved from Canada to Tennessee two years ago. Both West Virginia and Tennessee are gorgeous states with wonderful people.
Good luck. I can't say I blame you. Both my children in their 20's have left the UK. They see no future here for young people.
When I was a child my family travelled across Europe and the best experience for my sister and I was at the national borders. We compared uniforms, currency, demeanour and cultures. It was endlessly fascinating and emphasised the notion of different societies. The EU has eradicated all that. Vive les differences.
A childs mind for a childish world.
Verhalten und Kulturen sind geblieben
I am far from rich, living on my pension and some savings put aside over many years. A weekly insert of an Italian leftist newspaper had on the cover a huge yacht costing many million Euros, in front of which were posing some 350 persons that had been involved for a year from inception, design to construction, furnishings .... and so on, to complete it. Many criticized this WASTE of money that could have been better used, instead I saw that it had given "work" to so many, and as it is known, for every wage/salary worker, up to six others benefit by induction, such as the grocer, baker, butcher .... The more rich persons are in a country, one can deduct that there is less poverty.
My thanks go to Nigel Farage for giving us thoughts worth listening to.

What i struggle to understand is is why Poland and Hungary can put their army on the border to stop people coming in illegally but great Britain can't
If you’re not rich and forced to live in the US, as Farage says not everyone can move around freely unless they are rich, you have plan your taxes or have a tax strategy. I paid over 20,000 dollars in taxes only making 20,000 dollars partly due to stocks. It was close to 100,000 dollars in taxes the year before. I could have offset the tax burden/capital gains say if I had real estate or sold stocks, bitcoin when they were low. Moving to a foreign country, denouncing one’s citizenship, is simply too risky if you don’t have enough passive income. It’s also messed up how it’s hard to seek asylum from the US since it’s not the free country with a stellar human rights record it portrays to be.

@@nomadcapitalist It is sad that Andrew is still interviewing this liar. Most people in Britain regret Brexit. Firstly it has made it much more difficult for UK citizens to go where they are treated best. Taxes in the UK have increased significantly since Brexit. Infrastructure has fallen apart. Looking at Britain as a business model you would never leave the largest free trade area in the world. If somebody did that in business they would be fired. Just look at countries like Bulgaria who are in the EU but taxes are low 10%. I would like to ask Nigel why is no other country in the EU/EEA area considering leaving? An EU passport is now far more valuable than a British one.
@@saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375 is that why Germany and France are still in a recession? Brexit has appeared to shield the island from deprived 448 million EU citizens? As an ex American Andrew would never regard a freedom of movement as the main perks. Ohh btw Bulgaria isn't in full Schengen, just partial and not in Euro so that is out of Apple to Apple comparison
It was Awsome to see when the Queen died the huge level of grief the country experienced! I have never seen such long lines for days and days of people queuing up to pay their last respects. It was almost a huge black cloud descended over London. Marking the END OF AN ERA.

I agree with a lot of what he said. But I disagree with some of it too.
Ooooooh you have a brain. Did he convince you Brexit was alll about taking back control?
Great Video! But you don't have to be a millionaire to do this. My wife and I lived in many different countries for 21 years. That includes years in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cyprus, Turkey, Vietnam, etc. We also had a residency in Turkey. All this was done with a 37 foot sailboat. We never broke laws and always respected each countries customs, etc. We found we could have gotten residency in quite a few countries, you just have to patiently learn - study the requirements, follow the rules and you can do this. We currently are retired and live in the UK & Gibraltar.
Nigel is a true warrior, putting deed to word, decade upon decade. There is no one in Westminster in the time he’s been in politics that can come close to his commitment and consistency.
I love that you give him the space to talk he has rightfully earned.
Yeah he is true warrior who successfully pushed UK into deep recession due to Brit-exit. Congrats 🥂

I find it quite baffling that not everyone recognises the sheer brilliance of Nigel Farage. A man of unyielding fortitude and British resolve, he epitomises the spirit of our great nation. We desperately need more chaps with his gumption to steer this ship. Tally-ho, onwards!
Well, clearly enough people realized his "brilliance" to make Brexit happen. Brilliant.....
Everything about Britain feels like a has-been country. The army seriously has 6 functional IFVs and the generals are still barking like big dogs when it comes to Russia. The Russians would crush Britain’s so-called military in a fortnight.
Rah rah rah!!!

Rent 30-40% of your income? it's more like 60-70% in reality.
Elite owners of majority of properties. Economic growth is zero and f*** up taxes
Exactly right, and that’s why the UK economy is so bad. Lack of disposable income. A vast majority of what everyone earns goes to landlords to pay off their buy to let mortgages (banks) or to pay mortgages (banks). It’s why the high street is all but dead. High business rates, high rental costs, high energy costs, high taxation, no disposable income for customers to buy anything.

Bravo Nomad Capitalist for scoring such an incredible interview! I love Nigel Farage, he is someone who truly is standing up for western civilization and values which is being eroded everyday. Basically, Nigel screwed the UK over. Now Brits have to start hunting for alternate passports. I am sure that makes for a lot of clients for boutique consulting firms such as Nomad Capitalist so Andrew is possibly elated to have Nigel as a guest. As far as Farage is concerned, he can just play the "brexit wasn't done the way I wanted it", "Conservatives are bad, labour is worse", "labour is bad, conservatives are worse", "UKIP was infiltrated by the Tories", "Reform UK is infiltrated by XYZ" games forever.

You guys are driving people away, as Farage says.
You don’t want people to get rich and people want to get rich.

And inflation a stealth tax that would not exist without goverment
Inflation is always left out of calculations when working out how much tax you really pay on every £1 earned
