He's right about everything except for his attitude to Putin & Russia. Putin is the good guy. We want Russia to be inside NATO, the EU & being our ally against Communist China. We are going to lose WW3 if Russia is China's ally.

I think it will really work. I'm Aussie and I've lived in London for 5 years. If you open it up more and make it business friendly, it will attract a lot of people. I think a Commonwealth trading block of some type will help as an alternative to EU and China.

"Business - friendly" - good but not easy to do. Netherlands won Spain because they strictly respected financial promises regadless political stand. When S&P decresed US credit rating - it was audited. When civil conflict intensified in Ukraine and Putin moved in many rich lost boats and money. That is huge damage for years to come. Not how Dutch won Spain. Can it be fixed? Not too late if UK/EU courts reverse political decision.

Wonderful interview! You asked good questions and then let Mr. Farage actually respond without interruption. Many so-called professional interviewers could learn from you. Both of you are very pragmatic economically. But it was also interesting to listen to how Mr. Farage's emphasis on politics counterbalanced your emphasis on business. The best way to defeat tyrrany is to out-compete it, and when that's not possible, to end-run it. Granted, both fronts in that battle can be tricky, but it beats wars and bloodshed at a national level and serfdom at an individual level. Congratulations on being able to attract such august guests, and for doing such a competent job in general.

It's funny how people are gullible and think UKIP is about politicians being nationalist, when UKIP originated from the French born James Goldsmith, whose German Jewish banking family changed their name to sound British. Who thought politicians after Thatcher weren't doing enough to make the rest of the world hate Britain. From Ireland one side, Europe on the other side, and the rest of the UK to hate England. Scotland luckily have devolution to give them more independent rights away from London, so they have politicians that counteract Tory policies. Scottish people now have free university and prescriptions, while England is nothing more than a USA lapdog encouraging people to live in debt, with English students being £50,000 in debt.
Scotland can look to a brighter future away from USA lapdog England, and they can be more like the rest of north Europe and Scandinavia, with politicians who work for the people and society, and less people use credit cards.
English people tend to be gullible and believe anything politicians and Tory propaganda media say, even if reality says the opposite. Just so the country can stay USA lapdogs with an economy closely linked with USA banks/international bankers/war machine, encouraging people live in greed and debt.
Like how people believed that Farage wanted to leave the EU for the good of British people, when he was paying his foreign wife on tax payers expenses and hiding money in foreign tax havens. Then as soon as people voted to leave the EU he resigned, to leave people out the EU with Tories in power, who only work for a few rich people.

“Not long after becoming UKIP leader Farage was once photographed having a laugh and a drink with two senior officials of the BNP - that would be the BNP in it’s old, openly white supremacist, quasi-terrorist, Combat 88-connected (they were formed to provide the BNP with security at meetings) neo-nazi incarnation, before it attempted to hide it’s true nature in order to try and get elected.
This would have been revealing enough on it’s own - however the fact that the meeting took place shortly after a plot by the BNP to infiltrate UKIP had been uncovered is even more of an eye-opener.
Farage claimed not to have been aware who the two men were. However one of them was Mark Deavis, who was actually one of those responsible for the plot to infiltrate Farage’s party.
Even more alarmingly Farage’s other drinking buddy was was BNP National Organiser, Tony “the bomber “ Lecomber - notorious in right-wing circles and infamous beyond that for having planted a bomb in the offices of the Worker’s Revolutionary Party, for which he served one of his prison sentences. (The other was for beating up a Jewish man at Moorgate station.)
Lecomber was supposedly expelled after he presented the BNP leader Nick Griffin with a plot to assassinate a cabinet minister (although he was later spotted hanging around the BNP operation during the somewhat famous Barking by-election where Jeremy Corbyn helped run them out of town). Upon hearing of the plot the BNP security chief, Joe Heath, freaked, fearing he would be implicated in a serious conspiracy and threatened to inform the police unless Lecomber was shown the door.
Was it likely that immediately after his party had investigated and uncovered organised infiltration by the BNP, Farage would be unaware of the identity of one of the senior BNP officials responsible and another who was absolutely notorious? You decide.
In addition to his flirtation with extreme racists, it’s interesting to note other interesting aspects of Farage’s chequered but often little-publicised history.
Apart from wishing to abolish the Race Relations Act - hence making open racism among even public officials legal once again - upon becoming leader of UKIP Farage abolished the clause in UKIP’s constitution that explicitly prohibited racist behaviour, which was introduced by his predecessor, Alan Sked.
His former colleagues also once told the journalist Francis Wheen that Farage was fond of using racist epithets like N*g-N*g when they repaired to the pub after UKIP meetings. (See the Guardian Article “The Right Revs Up” from 1999 or thereabouts)
And of course there is the standing ovation Farage received after he addressed the avowedly neo-nazi, racist, antisemitic SS-sympathising German AfD and told them,
“Once you are able to speak the unspeakable people will begin to think the unthinkable and that is how you beat the establishment”
But our Nige is just a straight-talking man of the people and not a far-right racist at all” 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was in the car driving, I'll typically be listening to CBC Raido 1 for classical music. Tuning in mid way through they weren't broadcasting classical music, rather they were speaking about the queen.
Before they even said she had died I instantly knew what this meant & felt sick. 40 seconds later they said the words, I cried a bit as well. I have always supported the Queen & the monarchy, logically I knew she would die someday but didn't expect it to be so sudden & abrupt.

I always thought that people who think politicians like Nigel Farage want to leave the EU for the good of Most British people were dumb, as only need to look at who he is. Nigel Farage is a Thatcherite ex Tory banker, who was paying his foreign wife on tax payers expenses and hiding money in foreign tax havens, who resigned as soon as he got people to vote against leaving the EU, to leave us out the EU with Tories in power, who only work in the best interests of a few rich people and bankers.
I was reading that the UKIP started with the French born James Goldsmith, whose German Jewish banking family changed their name to sound British. Who thought politicians after Margaret Thatcher weren't doing enough to make the rest of the world hate Britain, to keep the British economy closely linked with the USA encouraging everybody to live in debt.
I think the only thing that will wake up many English people is if Scotland leave the UK, to become a separate nation in the EU and/or become more like the rest of north Europe, with politicians who care about people and society. Tories under Thatcher treating British people like dirt caused the rest of the United Kingdom to want devolution, and devolution has allowed Scotland to give their people free prescriptions and university. While English students are £50,000 in debt.
Although I do wonder if there's any hope for England at all, and what it will take to wake up many people.
I think England has too many of those thick men who call people lefties as an insult, as they saw some videos of people in the USA using the term to only mean multiculturalism, while they cheer on the USA, not realising the NHS is a lefty idea, and not seeing that the USA is far more multicultural and any lefty countries.
