Definitely. Their inflation rate is amazing. A great country to live if you make money outside Argentina. Schools and security levels for your children are perfect too.
Ok, but be careful. The current president takes advice from his dead dog. It's not even a joke. As a president, he's a great meme. The extreme poverty rates in Argentina went from 42% to 53% in less than 10 months. I may be wrong on this one, but I think Milei's policies won't end well for most Argentines.
Weii, Argentina is no doubt much cheaper than most "western" countries Just as Colombia where we live is also much cheaper. The answer is - come to these countries and see for yourself
Neuquen, Mendoza, Cordoba, Santa Fe, Rio Negro, San Luis. All of them are good options, just avoid anything with over 500.000 inhabitants and you'll be good
Today is not that solid. We need to keep winning elections and making reforms. But this is the most peaceful choice. Today is important to support Milei's reform plan.
Argentina and Uruguay 👍 I am 62 now, been in the USA for 42 year since I came to college from a 3rd world country. I have ended in San Diego, Solana Beach, Ca, beautiful house with a mile from the beachI and an amazing social life among some great people. By this coming December I will be there. Great video, your host is transparent and I will take him as my new mentor. I will search him and learn more of him.
I totally agree with you and I’m almost 57 and it breaks my heart to see how corrupt and disgusting and communist like our country has become but this is 30 years with 20 years of Democrats in the White House and 12 years of Republicans and Georgia Bush lied and he was oh warmonger and bailed out the rich banks with hard-working taxpayer money in 2008!! in 2008 I didn’t want to vote for either one and in 2012. it's a slippery slope with the new administration, the idea of Milei is not spending a lot in infraestructure. Patagonia is a very low populated place, if he do what he said he would do, the Patagonian South will have shitty roads, very costly health, water supply, energy supply, etc. The only places that are benefitting from Milei this year is Buenos Aires City and some places near Vaca Muerta. I understand the American interest in what they consider a "free " land, but all the good and friendly things that are the mark in Argentina will disappear if Milei doesn't fix increasing unemployment and the hunger he's causing.

I am from Argentina; born and raised in the province of Mendoza (wine country west of BA) and I must warn you of something. Although BA looks like a beacon of good opportunities at the current times; and I am particularly excited with Milei´s election to preside the country; there are still many folks with the old Peronist´s mentality, of state welfare dependance and entitlement. Most of them are old people, irrecuperable from that fascist mentality unfortunately, and most live in the surroundings of BA DC. Those are the brained washed low-class Argentinians brought in the mid 40´s by the nefarious General Peron, to be his nonofficial militia. I am not attempting to tire you with boring history, all I am trying to say is, that I am personally looking at whether Milei can secure a second term in office or not. Look, the war we are currently fighting in Argentina, it is a cultural one. We must change new generation´s mentality to consolidate a model of freedom, dealing with people that has suffered Stockholm´s syndrome for over 8 decades. I hope we can win this one and bring in as many useful law-abiding immigrants as possible to our home county!!
I agree with you but what gives me great hope is that the youth is almost entirely behind Milei....and those new generations that will start voting in the next elections will in a big % lean towards Milei liberal and capitalist ideas.
In my life I've seen times of optimism in my natal Argentina, and because of the country's great capabilities, there should be optimism. As the years go by, it saddens me to see that optimism gradually vanish, thanks to the incompetency or corruption of past administrations. Wishful for a more stable outcome this time, but it boils down to taking the leap of faith and making the move to reestablish roots in Argentina. But although it's my dream to see a Utopia in the southern hemisphere, I wouldn't put all my resources there. Un abrazo desde Maui!!
Peron's efforts to industrialize Argentina were sabotaged by USA following WWII (when Peron refused to except money from the IMF, U.S. cut off Argentina from European markets and the Marshall Plan). It also embargoed General Franco (who didn't allow the Allies to sacrifice Spain a la Poland, as UK and US sided with the soviet-backed "Republicanos" during the Spanish Civil War) and Salazar's in Portugal. None of these nations wanted to be post-war satellites. However, Franco managed to survive within the new world order and he gave Spain the "Spanish Miracle" he had long desired, regardless. Argentina lost its way. That said, unlike the staunchly anti-communist Franco or Pinochet, in Argentina Peron's legacy is exploited, claimed, and distorted by the both the left and right. To me "Peronismo" has become synonymous of populism more than anything else. Milei understands part of the problem but I don't know if he has a solution, for his understanding of U.S. and the current geopolitical reality seems to be lacking.

"anarcho-capitalism" as described by Rothbard, is not anarchy. Government is simply the organization of force in support of a legal or moral code. Without the ability to organize force in defense of life, liberty, and property, aggressors would successfully organize force in violation of those rights. The issue is, the definition of "government".
@@basilmagnanimous7011 Rothbard identified as white. He supported Strom Thurmond and was an early proponent of the redneck strategy. I think it's great that many people from all over the world look at Argentina to choose it as a destination to start a new life. It is true that Argentina has not been doing well for many years and we still have problems, but it is on the right path and the cultural change it needs will take time to have an impact. Now more than ever it is necessary for people who want a change in life and decide to move here, to support Milei's libertarian ideas so that the change in Argentina is forever! They was always said that we had all the natural resources, they was always said that we had all the climates on the planet, they was always said that we had done great things being a Latin American country and yet with all that potential we never reach our full potential. Hopefully, and in these decades of change, Argentina will be positioned at the top
I have always been intrigued by Argentina but lost interest as things got so bad there economically and otherwise. I have renewed interest now with the new administration. I think I will wait a year to see how things progress and then maybe take an extended vacation there.
Waiting for Argentina to improve its situation is not a good idea if you have dollars. To take advantage of the exchange rate advantage you have to go now before Argentina improves. Buy everything you can and enjoy luxury and expensive restaurants like a millionaire (cheap for you). In December Milei frees everything. Come and enjoy Christmas eating ice cream at 3am with party people.
Both El Salvador and Argentina have George Washington type Leaders who have instituted the Rule of Law. These countries will flourish in the future. And become great places to live and work and enjoy your best years of your life.
The problem in the West (USA, UK definitely) is the growing inequality, the rich are getting richer and the middle class is getting poorer. I think people are moving to poorer countries in South America and Asia because things are more affordable, the western money goes further.
I like listening to these two guys... can't believe they are together in the same room. This was most enjoyable. In a few weeks I'm moving to the State of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. Last step is to sell my car, then my son and I are out of here. The American dream is over.
Well, you know what happened when southern U.S. (including Texas) seceded with the goal of becoming an independent nation. Their efforts were suppressed through war. That said, by now said interventionism transcends borders the world over. Thus, many nations in-name-only will become REAL nations after the financial collapse of U.S. And, yes, if U.S. finally fragments, I see Texas and Florida being the first ones pushing for it and benefiting the most.
Not a chance. I was born in Texas and it has more and more become blue. It likely will be a blue state in the near future and when that happens the executive branch will be Democrat that will eventually cause a financial collapse to put the final stake in the heart of the US empire.

Love his thesis about countries breaking up. German old white history buff here, convinced that many European "countries" will end, and that would be good. People everywhere should be allowed to vote and break out, if they have the majority. It is evil international law that prevents that. Otherwise, Spain and Belgium would have broken up long ago. And why not? Like the borders of Congo or Iraq, most borders were drawn hastily after some wars in the age of nationalism which itself caused all the problems and mass murders we moderns have so devotedly perpetrated. (We are worse than any generation on earth before us.). Therefore: He is right! (Even the US will be two State Unions in the near future.)
I’m an Argentinian who was thinking on moving out of Argentina. Milei’s victory made me stay and, trust me, there’s no going back. Argentina will be one of the best places in the world to live.

I am from Argentina and let me tell you that as much as I have hope in Milei's free market reforms. The country still is intoxicated by 70 years of state-ism. A lot of provinces (the local version of US states, argentina is a federal country) are still under peronist or radical rule, and that won't change until the 2027 elections. The peronists also controll all unions in the country, and use them to sabotage the goverment. And well, we have all the issues of a post soviet country trying to rebuild it's way over. So yes, don't come here from the first world expecting libertarian paradise with the comforts of a first world country. Only come here if you truly lost all hope in the place in which you are, and want to fight somewhere else. You have to have the mentality of the people that conquered the West. Otherwise you won't make it. This is, after all, still a third world country. One with a lot of potential, one that was once before a rich country, but there's a lot of work to do, and a lot of sh.tty people to face in battle.
Its a long road from what a politician says to what he does. The law would have to be changed. That starts IN CONGRESS, so there it dies. Do you understand the separation of powers?
Speaking of peasants, I have met some which have made much less ignorant comments than what I have heard here, that the immigrants that came to the states before the 1950s were smarter than the new ones? 😅not sure about that, historically most immigrants that came to the US were not the best of the best in Europe, otherwise they would have stayed there and not come to the US, that applies to Italians, polish, Irish, English, etc. And is not the Latin countries, have nothing to do with Latin, it is called Hispanic America, if you don’t want to hear “yankee go home” learn to speak the local language. Don’t get me started about which countries should break up or not.

I would love to read his book. We're not taught in school in the USA anything that can truly give us financial interdependence. I've been in engineering in telecom for 24 years, but not educated in entrepreneurship. But taxed to death here. In my career I've had to pick up and leave short notice all over the country. I have no ties to anywhere here, but I'd love to cut ties as the country is too far gone for real. Being able to let go of where I've lived many times, leaving the country would work for me. The united states won't neccessary have to break. Here in Argentina some leftists are seeing the positive changes and coming to understand. As long as Trump doesn't slow down and the people work towards the cultural change, many americans will come to at least accept that the right's ideas are the best economically, and come to terms with it instead of fighting and hating like crazy animals. it's a slippery slope with the new administration, the idea of Milei is not spending a lot in infraestructure. Patagonia is a very low populated place, if he do what he said he would do, the Patagonian South will have shitty roads, very costly health, water supply, energy supply, etc. The only places that are benefitting from Milei this year is Buenos Aires City and some places near Vaca Muerta.
Thanks for sharing.
Milei support is from young folks.

Very inteligent man,i m in Argentina and is going to be the place to be,i m american-argentinian and i ve seen were the US is going .....to the toilet...
What a legend this man is, wow. Thank you for introducing him to us, Andrew H.
Argentina Faro del Mundo
I'm a Chilean who gets to live in a country with much better living standards than many of our neighbors thanks some really good policies we've had over the last few decades (not perfect, and we still have our problems, but we're still way better off than other Latam countries). The country has been quickly moving to the left, wanting to take away our freedoms and the symptoms are starting to show. I really hope my Argentinian brothers keep walking down the freedom path towards prosperity, it's been long overdue, the fate of the entire continent depends on it.
Milei f** ing rocks!! Just a matter of time Argentina has everything in place, huge natural and human resources and great work ethic. It is a matter of time to just put the rules and discipline in place. Great to hear this first hand from someone who can see it on the spot with an American perspective.
Many Argentinians are great; Milei is a con artist.
Milei thats clown, puppet. I will give credit for selling himself. However reality has set in and he has no idea what he is doing. Poor Argentina they have some inept leaders if its nit corrupt/crazy Fernandez they get clowns with Milei and Macri 😂
Work Ethic...from Portenhos? Are you inebriated ?
They go out to dinner by midnight !
Try getting to show up at 8AM.
You must be American.
😂 millei is a stooge for israel
@@showcaseSampa lol, you have the stereotypical american view that if you work really hard you can’t party. Argetines do both. Time schedule is different also people start working at 9 and have dinner at 10 PM because they stay at work until 8 or later many times. I am not saying this is Singapore type of work ethic but it is a lot higher than in Europe. In general in Latam in the large countries work ethic is quite good.
One of the best discussions. So excellent and educational. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
Very interesting interview, Young American on the same boat. I have my interest primed south of the equator in Argentina, South Africa and Namibia. Seems to be a better bet then the west in the next 30 years
South Africans in Johannesburg do not go out at night. Way too dangerous. This us the country where 10% of the GDP is spent in security.
Argentina, watch soaring poverty rates, aboit 50% of the country.
Thank you for your comment! You're welcome to join us at the next Nomad Capitalist Live where you can learn from industry experts and insiders about relocation and investment opportunities south of the equator - nomadcapitalist.com/live
Are you an entrepreneur? Or working remotely?
Namibia I have considering a lot too, but as with most African countries in the south it is very racist. SA is almost unliveable now. Cape Town and the far west is okay, the rest of the country is pure hate and evil.
@@showcaseSampaBrazil is country poor 66%
Thank you Andrew for such an interesting conversation. I spent last month in Recoleta, Buenos Aires and now researching a pied-à-terre there. Fantastic quality of life at reasonable cost.
You're welcome!
I hope I can first come visit and then consider moving. I heard Argentina can be food and energy self sufficient/sustainable if need be and the quality of life for the average might be turning up for the average citizen, I hope.
Thank you for your comment! We'd be glad to welcome you at the next Nomad Capitalist Live where you can meet like minded people and connect with others who are in a similar situation as you - nomadcapitalist.com/live/
As a Hispanic I agree with Mr. Casey starting at minute 52:00
I’m thinking Mendoza region. I love a good wines.
It’s a little colder but summer are nice and is less humid than Buenos Aires which is great
Mendoza looks great. $7 tomahawk steaks
One of your best videos/guest/topics.
American going back to Argentina, viva la libertad carajo
While I would hope it does not happen, Argentina appears to be a revolution waiting to happen.
While I don’t agree with everything Doug Casey says, I find him fascinating. Great interview
Thank you
I MOSTLY AGREE WITH HIM...
I like the fact that you're taking a very hard look at the world of the future!!! And No, it doesn't look too rosey!! Take steps to get prepared!!!!! I compare Doug Casey to the God Janus!! Able to see the past and the future!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
The problem with owning real estate is that the state ends owning you..
I appreciate your videos, it would be great if you conducted a formal introduction of your guests prior to commencing all interviews.
Doug Casey at his best! He tells it like it is. Thanks Andrew, great interview.
What a brilliant and informative interview.
Thank you for posting this.
Kind Regards

Toronto
Thank you very much for the compliment! In this video you can view a comparison between Toronto and the capital of a South American country Doug Casey frequents - th-cam.com/video/2JHMxYdTlm8/w-d-xo.html
I can listen to Doug Casey all day long.
The U.N. will bring in the NWO, so you'll get your wish of no more Countries soon 😉 I have a feeling it won't be as nice as you imagined, tho 🤧
I’m an Argentinian who was thinking on moving out of Argentina. Milei’s victory made me stay and, trust me, there’s no going back. Argentina will be one of the best places in the world to live.
Really?
Doesn’t Argentina has its own socioeconomic problems and illegal migration from other Latin American countries?
Isn’t there racism towards the black community in Argentina?
@@moa3008 Yes, Argentina had the worst economy up to last year. But the new president Milei has been fixing it at light speed since he assumed (11 months ago). No one can believe all that he was able to acheive even since the first month.
Actually the borders are more controlled now, but the majority of migration we have received are all working people from Venezuela, Paraguay, bolivia.
No, you have to come here. Argentina loves the black community. Argentinians are extremely friendly with any migrants or tourists.
Fantastic analysis
Thank you Sir
Brilliant discussion
Thank you both
Thank you gentlemen
You do a wonderful of of shining a light on truth. Main stream media is officially over!
Always appreciate you , amazing work Andrew
Latin America is definitely an area of interest. I see great potential in Central and South America in the upcoming years and decades.
Trump announced this week that he’s ending worldwide taxation for US citizens
Its a long road from what a politician says to what he does. The law would have to be changed. That starts IN CONGRESS, so there it dies. Do you understand the separation of powers?
And I have a bridge to sell you
He’s not president yet, and even if he was, it’s not that simple
LMAO 😂 and you believe it
Trump announced a lot of things before his first term and he did them?
Poland seems to be the safest place to live. They protect their borders and their citizens lifes.
I first saw Mr. Casey on TV in an interview in 1980 - 81ish. Then, remarkably, I saw him walking down the street in Washington D.C. a few days later.
Spent three weeks in KL earlier this year. Truly is a beautiful city. Just Left San Salvador and it felt super safe but run down and boring. Also very expensive shockingly. Currently in Bogota. Nice. Also feels pretty safe. Cold though. On my way to Buenos Aires plan on spending at least a month there. KL has been the best bang for your buck city so far I have visited. Da Nang is close. We will see how Buenos Aires compares.
Nice info , cheers mate.
Buenos Aires is amazing, i originally came here for 2 weeks, stayed for 3 months and counting. Looking into how to formally immigrate now
@@notquitehim Do you have to speak fluent Spanish in Buenos Aires? How good is your Spanish?
@@notquitehim nice. Currently is São Paulo which is very nice. Off the Buenos Aires soon. Probably visit Rio first. Mine as well.
It’s amazing how little Spanish you can get by on, actually.
Enjoyable. Very interesting. Thank you.
Absolutely fascinatingly Educational.. A wonderful interview- many Thanks 🙏🏻
Inspiring series Andrew this is solid man. Well made friend
Thank you for the compliment.
Love Doug Casey - He is so knowledgeable and humble !! ❤
Andrew, one of the best interviews I have watched on the subject insightful , accurate and realistic from Dougs perception. Thank you!
Thank you!
Awesome, thanks 💯
You're welcome!
Very broad minded and informative guest!
I've just got to figure out income and a path to follow from scratch to make this desire a reality
2 great thinkers and speakers having a useful conversation. Thank you for sharing 😎👍🏻
You’re welcome!
As an anarchist living in Florida I am highly looking at Argentina ever since Xavier won
@@marleezawadzki having seen a couple of the Argentine economy turnarounds from ashes to riches, this tome does look very very real. The guy has a combination of extremely thorough economic knowledge and an extraordinary charisma and empathy to be able to reach a very broad spectrum of people form the worse off to the well off. It is really a dream scenario for a country with so much potential
I recommend this TH-cam channel that shows what the country is like; it's a Yank who lives in Argentina with his family, @Economic_Front.
CAN'T BEAT DOUG CASEY...WANT HIS NEXT BOOK FOR SURE
This peaked my interest and gives great insight to the reality of the world. Much appreciation
But isn't Argentina very tax hungry? For example, if you want to buy property in Buenos Aires you have to obtain a Tax ID from the Argentine Government and then file an Annual Tax Return on your Worldwide Income.
At the moment it is, hopefully it will change in the future. The socialist regimes that were in charge before had to feed their hunger for money. You have to see how well they live, even their chauffer is rich
Give it a couple years. Laws are being changed.
Taxes are being cut and lowered everyday right now, not even mention burocracy.
Wot about Medellin? We have lived here in retirement now for 6 years and have been (mostly!!) VERY happy with our choice.

⛔ ARGENTINA IS NOT FREEDOM! MEILEI WANTS TO use the FIAT DOLLAR as its currency. This means it WILL be under the feet of the US REGIME! plus, POVERTY has SKYROCKETED. CIVIL SERVANTS (POLICE, TEACHERS, ETC) are ALL ON STRIKE. HOW SAFE WILL ARGENTINA BE? NOT SAFE.
You've got to be patient and give them time to understand that what they believed their whole lives was wrong. It's not something easy to do.
I'm in Canadian, my wife is Colombian. Since the government pandemic, I have little love for this country anymore.
Ive been thinking of Uruguay or mostly Argentina.
I run a small trucking company here (I despise this industry though). I have a small farm here as well, and I am a firefighter, Certified Fire Investigator, and soon to be certified inspector.
Are there opportunities for me in Argentina? My Spanish is poor, but I feel I would catch on quickly if fully immersed.
If you move to Argentina, it would be convenient to leave a business that generates money in Canada and with that live well in Argentina.
@sebastiangallo8869 yeah that would be a great idea. I'd have to have a different business though. A small trucking company here has very thin margins and really requires hands on here.
Having physical equipment that constantly needs tending, or employees that are unreliable doesn't help lol.
@@RyanBanman to live well in Argentina you don't need more than 2,000 dollars per month
In my humble opinion, the most effective way to become very wealthy is to inherit or be gifted wealth and then invest that wealth in assets such as property, stocks, or gold and then just sit back and watch it grow. The tricky part is the first part.
With that view about wealth creation you probably are poor and will likely die poor!
